Making my way through your Vlogs bud, if you thought the bog on the start of this hike was bad, the Outlying Shap Fells will be traumatic 😂, I think I read Stuart Marshall was a fell runner and they are a diff level of fitness and go through anything and use the sketchy direct routes, loving the videos revisiting where we have trod and seeing views we may not have got on the day 🥾🥾💙💙⛰️⛰️
Haha I will start doing them over the coming months, I've just been given a dog so I've got even more of an excuse to get out now, Ive had a look around for information about Stuart Marshall and couldnt find a lot, that book of his is so handy but also a bightmare in points, still glad I did it that way with it being 36 walks and also its a good laugh to look back at now, would like to speak to him if hes still about and ask him what the theory was behind those routes 😂
@@MattDoesMountains Hi mate, yeah really looking forward to it. The views look amazing. Just hoping the weather holds out. Yeah I think you was on land ranger map 1:50. Cheers. I’ve liked/subbed to keep up with your adventures
@@MattDoesMountainsgot it done today. Not gonna lie it was brutal, but worth it. Think it was 7 miles to the first summit. Fleetwith pike was savage in the wet/wind at the end. It felt exposed and huge. Went on forever 😂
@@kingryan3716 the first summit is horrible mate, walking through that boggy ground for ages 😂definitely a hard walk and I can imagine it would be worse in bad weather 😂 well done and glad you enjoyed it mate 👌👌👌👌
One of the best ones! ❤
