      @@robertdemeter5793 Sounds like McKenna wants us to become like animals then and simply behave according to emotional reactions. Our reality would become purely savage.
      Its our language that enables us to _question_ our reality and actions.
      The mystery you are talking about don't disappear just because you learn to understand the reality behind it. It lives on through in our emotional attachment to nature and the human spirit. We are able to have both if we are beeing honest about what a mystery really is. The point is not to keep a mystery a mystery, but to figure it out. That why we are drawn to mysteries. Art can embody this feeling of mystery. This feeling is important to us and that matters a great deal, but it should not prevent us from figuring out mysteries in the physical world. Rather we should leave the exploration of the _feeling_ of mystery to Art. This way we can have both.

      @@robertdemeter5793 Language is a tool for thinking and communication. Of course it can be used to manipulate, but that does not mean that language itself is the problem. At least i don't find that to be true for myself. It could be that language is a barrier sometimes if we limit our thinking ONLY through language. The uncounscious mind is the real backbone of our intelligence, but our conscious mind navigates itself best through language.
      Consiousness is in the brain. You won't find any credible neuroscientist who thinks otherwise.
      I'm not interested in you spamming youtube videos at me. UA-cam is not a good source for knowledge and people are mislead by amateurs all the time on here. If anyone wants to measure and verify their ideas, they go to the universities. Don't believe me? Well take a good look around you and you will find that the society you live in and the technology you depend on it all was made possible because of science.

    • @mandola2095

      @@robertdemeter5793 So i decided to watch the last video link you gave me, since you yourself seem to be incabable to write down your own ideas (do you have any?)
      And LMAO...what in heavens name has an anti-government propaganda video made by Stefan Monlyneux to do with language? But since you seem to be so in love with content on youtube, let me adress this company and its agenda for you. UA-cam contains a complete eco-system of amateurs and/or professional maniupulators and/or ignoramuses. Whats so ironic is how people as yourself swallow their every words in their youtube videos and how you are being manipulated by youtubes own algorithms. Algorithms that is designed to maximize user activity by offering video suggestion that only agrees with your own biases and that further your own distrust with the reality around you. So they can keep you clicking on more and more of their videos. Hence, you are yourself a tool for companies like google (youtube), facebook and content creators such as Molyneux. How ironic, seeing that you are yourself so paranoid to be manipulated that it leads you right into the hands of the worst manipulators of them all.
      My advice to you is to go out into the real world and talk to real people. People that have no monetary incentive to manipulate you. Take some classses at a real university. Have your ideas challenged so you can sharpen or discard them.

    What is this style, why does it remind me of Clutch?

    • @freq9939
      @freq9939 5 років тому +3

      "Post-metal" is the genre attached this kind of style. Basically means an avantgarde heavy metal that uses plenty of drone, ambient and industrial sounds as well as unconventional approaches to heavy metal drawing from an eclectic background and blend of influence.
