@@yoyolebatteur Oh snap! Hats off to Jannes Van Rossom
most definitely!
Yes...agreed. the mix is so damn good.
G-day Russian Circle fans, I’m new to this band and I’m quite enjoying them. So lots of love & support from Australia 🇦🇺

That's a sweeeet setlist. Catching them in 13 days
You are blessed.
Epic setlist
Mr Spalding you got good balls
Sullivan plays almost the entire set standing on one foot.
Jason Delvaux seriously does dude.. his pedal skills are ridiculously on point
"There's a special place in heaven for pedal tap dancers".
-Some guy, somewhere.
I know all the lyrics to each of these songs and all their other songs too.
I know it un spanish, french, russian, japanese and many others. I am a true fan
I believe occasionally screaming Satan or expecting Dracula to show up, is kind of implied
Yeah, these guys are next level lyrically.
Poets. Each one. All 3 have crazy voices.
“Deficit” is one of THE sickest live tracks i’ve ever experienced at a show
This whole set just makes you want to pick up a guitar or set of drums and jam. Then you realize these guys are god-like performers.
🤣 dude you can do it ..
Then you realize most people cant loop like mike or get the tone or higher sound/guitar knowledge like Mike
I pick up my guitar - "oh yeah... I suck"
Pick it up everyday and play. I’m sure that’s the “secret” they would tell you.
Man, how much I miss live shows.
Soon my man… I am praying 2022 has a better outlook for all of live music
That tapping section Mike plays in Harper Lewis is one of the greatest bits of music I’ve
ever heard. Love these guys.
Correct!
I’m obsessed with the massive build up
27:38 that riff tho
35:05 and that riff tho. Jeezus
I know I'm kinda late to this party but damn.
I'm not even into "metal" but this is just too awesome to not be completely amazed
Yes. They aren't exactly metal, although press says so as Post metal. They are so much more in terms of melodies and aesthetics.
For sure post metal
You'll love Gojira if you like these riffs.
Each of these guys bring so much, individually to this band! It's a perfect storm!
I have seen these guys live five times. Never gets old. It's like a spiritual experience for me in person. Favorite band, hands down.
Seeing these guys support Mastodon in December and to be honest I'm more looking for to them than Mastodon
saw them with Mastodon in Munich 3 days ago for the first time and loved it!
but after listening to their albums i have to say that i prefer their live sound, it was just so surprisingly heavy.
Mastodon had a killer setlist though, great mix of new & old stuff
Yes!
Mastodon is entertainment , russian circles is art
Reza Rishehri the band who wrote the best progressive metal album of all time isn’t art..? What?
@@jakeybball yes they are entertainers not artists , it depends on what you looking for , as an artist and who looks for something new and heavy that have a concept and meaning , i can tell you mastodon is entertainment not art
Legend has it the crowd is still there waiting for Russian Circles to come back out.
This is too good to be described by words.
In spanish we have a word to describe things we can't describe: inefable.
or by lyrics..
@@Diego-pi7ce In English we have a similar word. Ineffable.
Dave is seriously the most underrated drummer of our time
Daniel Horton he's good alright!
Best drummer in ths genre IMHO...
He grounds the band so well.
cymbal chopper, if you ask me
Bill Burr was going nuts about him on a podcast last year. Some gig in New York last year he told about a million listeners to go to the gig to "see this fawking amazing drummah". He plays a little bit too.
The guy that managed to crowd surf during almost all of Vorel is a legend.
I was there. One of the best concerts in my life.
1:16:10, se escucha un chileno gritar: "AWEONAO". Magnífico.
This band is fucking amazing.
The drummer
The base
Electronic person
Just EVERYTHING about this band..... There are no words to describe
It's true... Music
That basssound is awesome! It makes this band a thunderous machine! Drums grooves like hell and guitars are the icing on the cake!
I so enjoyed this whole hour of this UA-cam concert.....8/5/24
Not sure how i came across this band other than listening to UA-cam and the give suggestions... New Favorite
They are like.... The next Pink Flord
This band is REALLY blowing my away
And I'm 50
I swear.... Y'all Rock
And i hope you see this post.
I recall when Inter Arma opened for Russian Circles one evening in Philadelphia. It was absolutely crushing.
Gnosis can't get here soon enough.
This concert literally made me go buy a drum kit....No, seriously. It'll be here Tuesday. Dave is the most underrated drummer.
Four years on, how’s the drumming?
@@sethharrison2557 ask his neighbour 😁
I listen to this concert recording more than any of their studio albums. This is just so good!
Wow!
They make instruments speak deeply in a soul! Amazing performers, love their music.. Fan from 🇬🇷😍🇬🇷!!!
Man I hope Deficit stays in their live rotation for a while. It is a hard top 3.
crushing opening song. wow.
They played it second today, so ye...
insanely underrated band, easily one of the best live albums released in the last 15 years
That bass feedback in 309 right before cook drops back in sounds like his amp protesting the massive tone
This has got to be their best set list/performance, ever. I have listened to this more times than I can remember.
Shredding like it's the end of the world and the beginning of a new one. Can't express how much I love these guys! 🍻❤🤘
How is this band not a household name? Amazing
Russian Circles was by far one of the best live events I ever attended. These 3 gentlemen really deliver live, a cathartic wall of sound and a distinctive experience.
You shouldn't miss Mono, then, if you ever get the chance. You'd be in for a treat.
this is perfect
For the umpteenth time listening to this while writing my PhD... and many more to go...
That stainless steel kit though.
Saw em at Mohawk in Austin back about 6 years ago. Fucking fantastic
These dudes are like the loudest, biggest sounding 3 piece band out there. Dave's fucking huge 26" kick acrylic kick drum is punching me in the face through the screen from the past.
Eric Its actually a 24” x 18 bass drum. This is his Vintage 70’s stainless steel Ludwig kit with his Gretch steel super hoops. Other sizes 13x8 and 16x16. He uses a Ludwig Copperphonic snare drum w/ Remo emperor head. Remo black dots on his heads. He uses a 26 acrylic in the states. :) just to inform you I’m a nerd with this stuff
Hmm. Before You tube where did You discover Russian Circles?? Maybe Chicago when Purcupune Tree goes there to Play Live concerts hmm???
God how I love their music
Amazing performance
Watching Geneva gives me life affirming goosebumps. Every time.
love it
really don't want to seem like the stereotypical twat who spams the word ''Underrated'' On everything
but this beautiful band is seriously fucking underrated
love their sounds they are so relatable to me since i have a very similar way of playing
and also they can fit beautifully as a Soundtrack OST genre
Such awesome band to see and listen live!! Saw them in CDMX, they're absolutely amazing!! \\m//
Nice guitar work. Nice everything
I love the synchronized head bobbing seen in a Russian Circles audience.
667th like. Sorry.
I wish i could be their hype man on the tour!
Can't say it ENOUGH
I'm digging this band
I just to be that crowd
Jamming to ask these songs
I said the next pink Ford but also tool
Freaking spell check
I think y'all getting the drift
Who's excited for DUNK! FEST 2023??!!
This is a badass performance. What a show
that version of harper lewis is soo soo good
This is so awesome. I keep coming back to this over and over again. One of the best bands in the last ten years. Seen them live twice with Mastedon and became an instant fan.
Me emociona profundamente la musica que hacen estos tipos....
What a sound. These guys are incredible.
Here is what has been puzzling me about Russian Circles for years: Is the drummer playing to a live clicktrack for the looped parts on guitar or is he just that constant and precise? Both is bloody impressive for they have very organic changes in dynamics and tempo...but a loop is a loop. So, you wise folks out there, elaborate cuz its tough to google it in interviews :D.
Just discovered this band and christ almighty where have i been?
What a nice surprise! Just 4 cameras, some fog, some lights, and all the magical of Russian Circles music is revealed! I knew that those three guys were good, but I really like your video montage! Well done, man!
Quelle belle surprise! Seulement 4 caméras, du brouillard, des lumières et toute la magie de la musique Russian Circles est révélée! Je savais que ces trois gars étaient bons, mais j'aime vraiment votre montage vidéo! Bien joué, mec!
One of the rare cases when live performance almost exactly matches to what we hear in the albums.
Why o Why UA-cam can I not like something more then 'like'?
Love not Like 😊
Awesome sound! I watched them a few months ago, best live performance in 2016 for me.
Thanks for this... im in heaven!
Awesome drumming...
Russian Circles - LIVE - they OWN!! & this OWNS UP !! AF !! Can be of a visual meditation (as i just did) or strictly audio etc. **Wait for second song & just flow. ...FLOW FLOW FLOW the Fuck out with it 💪💥💓💕⚡🔥⚡
this has to be played at my funeral (in a 24h loop)
The build up for Vorel got me feeling I don 't need a preworkout... LOVE IT... that filter on the guitar to tho! HURRY UP AND PLAY IN NJ AGAIN RUSSIAN CIRCLES!! #fucovid
God vorel is soooo good
Such a pleasure for my brain WOW!
I love watching the man behind the kit playing like his life depends on it!! He inspires me to do something and give 100% to it! Russian Circles is my favorite instrumental metal band period! The intensity they play with is infectious \,,/,
Red sparrows
It’s a little late but Year of No Light!
22:48 when the music is all
I cannot express how much I love this band. I’ve only seen then live once and hate myself for missing them evertime they’ve come to my city. They are so perfect live, so mysterious, so omnipresent
YES. I love this band as well this music was a integral part of my life and might have even saved my life a few times
@@hamonrye9823 I hear you on every aspect of your comment!
Pure energy and power !! Respect!
AWESOME!
They play in darkness perfectly
24:50 moments like those is when you know that you are already in love with the band
unless you are soulless ?
6:25 just want to keep my Gibson tuned on that ground zero
34:00
Got my vynyl yesterday, loving it :)
fuck me.. 7 years.
oh gawd 5:28 breakdown is so gorgeous !
You got a great sound. I made interesting paintings to it
Dave turncratz (the drummer) girl friend is actually a professional artist and makes cool paintings.
M O D D E R V E T
massive
See you (again) in exactly one week in Le Locle 😊
Tough as Nails!! Heavier than Murder!!
Listen to these guys is like trying to find a dingo in a diamond mine. Complex maestro's that bring forth a barrage of mutiny at all time, raging full-on.
feel asleep while playing youtube on tv..keep it on autoplay...wake up to the sound of harper lewis..damn...this band is good..
I saw these guys last month in Guadalajara, and maybe I'll never be able to spell or write his last name on a right way, but I'm convinced Dave is a fucking God!!!
These were a great closing act to the festival. It was a cracking 3 days in the sunshine with some great music and a few beers :o)
I would love to have the guitarists pedal board set up, though it would cause me to become a hermit and play around with it jamming till there was no skin left on my fingers
Grab a bogner wessex and a burnley then a bajillion boosts and boom you are 90% there!!!
Crowd and band are like a symbiotic beast. I remember watching ISIS play at a Soundwave festival and they were the first band I saw play so cohesively together. Good to see bands still carrying the torch!
34:56....Thank you guys for creating this part! One of the best bass line ever!
yheeeeeaaaa they came to México. 👏👏👏
That transition from Afrika to Harper Lewis is perfect.
the whole thing strikes me as cultish, wierd in a good way. It never ceases to amaze me the incredibly complex sound a band of just three members can play.
come to china pls
The bass feedback in 309 🤤🤤
These guys make me laugh uncontrollably with excitement. Much love
Russian Cirles, you give me goosebumps. Love it!!!
first time seeing them and even hearing anything from them was at freebirds in jacksonville. They were amazing live, just pure talent.
I was waiting and waiting and waiting for the concert to start, but now I tot the joke. The concert is an Intro!! 🤣🤣🤣
I stopped listening in minute 16, maybe the vocals start in minute 17, I will never know. 😂
