CAT D9G START WITH STUCK RACK!!!

Dozer has been sitting for a long time and the fuel rack has froze on it making the D9g start at full throttle.

Great video. Love that old machine. I remember when it blew one of the ripper hoses a while back and your Dad had to stop it in place. Has it been sitting there ever since?

9G stuck rack i feared she got stuck open and began to run away.
Was wonder if that had been the case if you were gonna flip the air prescreen to shut it down. Was told by some of the old school miners that they never tightened them down for that very reason.

This engine is designed with a lube oil lock on the fuel injection rail. If engine lube oil pressure is low fuel rail will not move above low idle speed. Check engine oil level and pressure. When lubricating oil pressure up to normal. Hand and foot control should operate properly.
