It looks like the D-9 would be the best cat for the job of pushing over the trees and it probably would have just walked through those trees and not blink? It would have been great to compare them with the pushing power up against those trees? Only because of how much of a struggle it was to pushing over the first tree? But thanks for sharing this with us and have a great day
I soo love your videos!! I don’t have the CAT Beasts that you folks have, but restored a JD 40C logging dozer..two cylinder, pto driven winch, rops cage and branch deflectors with armored front n sides. She runs like a champ and packs a lot of power in her little frame!! I’d love to send you some vids..
He isnt a operator. You dont jack around on the clutch. You snap it all the way in before you hit the tree. If you cant root wad it you dig around the roots and build a dirt ramp to get you up higher and get more leverage.
old 3T or 17A cable blade. I ran them 50 years ago. The cable unit on the rear gives then more weight on back and makes them better balanced than a hyd blade machine.
Big respect man, thanks for restoring the dozers. Since I was a little boy, I like the bulldozer above all the heavy machines👍👍

Man I would love to be there and play with them awesome classic cat machines! You’re one lucky man!👌😎👍
My uncle had a D7 when I was young. Me and my cousin would sometimes play on that thing all day long.

Going to wreck that clutch
It will have an oil clutch, they are pretty much bullet proof compared to a standard dry clutch.
Get off here u ain't a operater shut up and sit back and learn little kid
I really enjoyed the video
Nice job slipping the clutch.
bleeding the injector lines at the pump effectively does nothing. should be done at the nozzle to get rid of the air.
Haven’t seen the old grader fired up and used in a while

I did run a 17 A with hyd blade and nothing at the back, balance was awful
1959 or was it older with the turbo added
No blowby at all nice condition
👍🏻
they were good cats turbo ed 17a
How much is one of these old cabe dozers worth💰
I had a 7 for 25 years. Regret everyday I sold it.
Those oak clusters are the worst,, don't break one off u will catch hell pushing the stump
Bom dia muito top máquina amigo
proper way to bleed them engines
Motor d104
Well first he has to run more than a quarter or half throttle second he got to dig on the back side of the tree third hae has to know what he's doing
I didn't hear a dodge kid say "it needs a Cummins swap" lol one day they'll learn.
Should have a tree arm on it to push the trees
Pull out the D9G
Try a chain saw.
DaisyEtta shows you how to do it. 1956 D7 17a
