Hi mine is a AVH-X8650BT, trying to configure my steering wheel control on Kia carens 2014. I have watch videos about this, and was able to follow up to choosing whether your car is using adaptor or without adaptor, chose w/o adaptor but after that there was no option to choose where the car is made from (e.g. japan or korea) as against from the videos that I have watched. I guess this is the reason why I am not able to configure the volume up/down and call drop/cancel but the next and previous was working. Please help

Is the model number AVH-X5500BHS? It sounds like you'll need to delete one or more Bluetooth Paired devices from the in-dash receiver's memory before you can add a new one. Be sure to engage the Parking Brake or the Bluetooth Menu will be grayed out. If you engage the Parking Brake and still cannot access the Bluetooth Menu, it's possible that the in-dash receiver has an incorrect connection to the Parking Brake Switch with the Green Parking Brake Wire. Are the Bluetooth Settings grayed out? Or, not there at all? What model of Pioneer in-dash receiver do you have? You can usually find the model number on the bottom left just below the screen. What is the problem with pioneer stereo not having sound and says amp error
The problem is your installation. When "amp error" is displayed, this means speaker wires are touching one another or metal in the vehicle. Check the back of the in-dash receiver for the speaker wires. They can not touch one another. Also check the speaker locations. The speaker terminals can not touch one another or metal in the door or deck.

You need to engage the Parking Brake, also known as the Hand Brake. If you engage the Parking Brake and still cannot access the settings, the in-dash receiver Green Parking Brake Wire may have an incorrect connection to the vehicle. You'll need to engage the vehicle's Parking Brake in an ON-OFF-ON operation to access some of the settings on the screen. This might also be called an Emergency Brake, or a Hand Brake. If you engage the Parking Brake and still can't access these settings, your vehicle may have an incorrect connection to the Green Parking Brake Wire on the in-dash receiver.
