This gives me hope! I'm 3 months off psychiatric meds after over 20 years on them, but it's still hard and feels like the overclocked nervous system will last forever.
This is exactly how I thought the brain works. Our brains are so smart but they are biological organisms that take time to adjust. You can't immediately reprogram your brain.
He just came out with a book on psychiatric drug withdrawal so he has been so busy with the book tour. Im trying to get him make more videos in august but he is phenomenally busy. So some time this fall would be most realistic:)
I’m 2 years off ssri after my dr stopped my antidepressants in 10 days after 9 years off use. He then switched me 5 times in 6 months and caused me to kindle. 2 years and I’m still in a very bad place with hundreds of physical symptoms everyday.
But fast taper, almost Cold turkey and a crash. Do you have heal the actual crash as well? Can it still find a way to heal and stabilize? Or are the receptors and transmitters damaged. How can it be so much body Ache in muscles and nerves?
What about when you tapered off and had to go back up on the dose to releave the withdrawal and the withdrawal comes back again? Why do u think you still get withdrawals even though you went back up?

Same here, exactly. Finally feeling better only now.
@@jennadolanHow long until you felt better?
I know this. But he explains everything so very well. I'm in WD so I can't think anymore and find words when I have explain to others.

How are you now
@@ShannonPankey still bad after 2 years off. I have so many physical symptoms.
I am tired of this really
Myzone, you should take high dose tryptophan. It will get rid of your withdrawals.
Me to

What is done if the body never stabilizes whilst tapering? Holds of many months don’t help. 5% per month taper. Ongoing, 😢
I assume then you just have to hold until it stops.
@@Ps3sportsgamer 5 months is too long to hold, in my opinion.
@@TE-7302- your nervous system doesn’t think so

I'm the same. Stuck on 5mg valium dropped to 3.75mg nearly died ....absolutely hell.
How is severe med injury from only one or a couple doses in rate cases? Normal up and down regulation doesn't explain that.
These are brain-disabling neurotoxins, so it make sense that they can also cause severe injury just from a couple of dose or even ome dose.

It’s cause you kindled the brain
