I like that your house journal is an actual hand written hard copy book. So many things today are digital. There’s something so much more substantial and lasting about an actual journal. Plus it works without the internet or electricity.
I am also solo and find inspiration and validation from watching your channel. For some time I thought I was weird for feeling content being solo, but after dealing with and unpleasant marriage and divorce, now I feel more content than ever.

I live in iOS Greece and I love to walk in the hills and valleys where I won’t bump into people.
Loved the walk in nature. Yes BC a bit ahead of us in Winnipeg however indoor starts are great. I belong to a permaculture community garden. Just love it. Thanks for sharing. Very sweet & happy dog
I’m so glad I came across your channel. I admire your intelligence, wisdom and generosity in sharing your adventures. Every video I watch has some pearls I take away. I share my house with two other silver soloists- I’m an artist recently retired from the paying gig (I highly recommend it 😎), another is a mosaic artist and the third an author. We share an acreage on the other side of town. Being a curious woman and a Vancouver Islander myself I have figured out that we share the same wonderful town. Cozied up with my pooch and a cuppo tea just to spend time with you. I so enjoy your videos… Plant shopping is so much fun especially with Mum. Started my indoor seedling late this year, here in Winnipeg the ground is still frozen in most areas… makes for a short growing season… enjoy the fire .. and your peaceful surroundings.. you are truly blessed.

Hi Jen, I found your channel today and have been binge watching. I too live alone with a dog and 2 cats in Ohio. You live in a beautiful place! I also watch youtuber Adelina from “Mybigtinyhouselife” who also lives alone on Vancouver island with her cat Sophie. She also works from home and is about your age. Have you met her or watch her channel? Small world!
