The rich are money-minded; that's a lesson I've grasped from the very beginning. My desire to build wealth has always been strong. I’ve set aside $160K since 2020, and I’m eager to invest it in the stock market to grow my financial future. I’d love to hear any recommendations you have.
I think the safest strategy is to diversify investments. But if you need proper advice, consider speaking with a financial expertise. Don't get me wrong, you can do it on your own, but financial advisors have a lot more knowledge and expertise in this area.
You are completely right, Advisors have information and paths that are not disclosed to the public.. I profited $560k in 2022 under the tutelage of my Fiduciary-counselor. Am I selling? Absolutely not.. I am going to sit back and observe how this all plays out.
Certainly, there are a handful of experts in the field. I've experimented with a few over the past years, but I've stuck with ‘’Judith Lynn Staufer’’ for about five years now, and her performance has been consistently impressive. She’s quite known in her field, look-her up.
Excellent share, just inputted Judith Lynn Staufer on the internet, spotted her consulting page ranked top and was able to schedule a call session. I’ve seen commentaries about advisors but not one looks this phenomenal.
For any small UA-camr not yet monetized and not yet to 1000 subscribers yet like me who is watching here, dont give up keep pushing its evident from here that it will get better with consistency. Lets keep going there is light at the end of the tunnel.

We've now entered an era in which we have to question everything we see - Is that 'photo' actually AI? - Is that 'reality' show actually scripted? - I truly appreciate how authentic you are Jen - a real person talking about real things. I'm a fan.
I think AI has a place, for me I use it for pictures and voice overs. I was in a bad accident and can't speak very well. I fell into stoicism after a dear friend got cancer. UA-cam is my outlet and has helped some along the way. 🧡😑
@FatemeLife define real? Someone with hopes and dreams and respect for others is that real? Responsive to comments is that real? I feel as long as the message and feelings behind your art, it doesn't matter what tools you use to "draw a picture"
@@RiseofStoicEmpire Real = not faked. I personally appreciate that Jen is a human being who seems to walk the talk. There is no reason you should take my likes and dislikes so personally. It's okay for me to like what I like. It's okay for you to like what you like. If you read my post carefully, you won't find your name anywhere in it. I was talking about what I like about Jen. Hi, I needed this video. I turned 62 years old yesterday, and I have been saying I would build a UA-cam channel, but I never do. I will start today by learning from others, just like you. Thank you.
I have the attention span of a goldfish... But somehow I watched the whole video, not realising it was over 11 minutes long. That's what I call talent and success!
Mind blown. Seriously. I'm 58 and thought, there is NO way anyone would want to see me on yt doing anything at all. Thank you for showing me it's possible! And you got monetized!! Congrats! oh wow, the wave of hope that washed over me. I have a phone, and a dog or three. lol.
The number of middle aged audience members on UA-cam is growing, I hear. 😉 So, no reason why anyone should not want to see you. (Hadn't even realised that the younger demographic was so prevalent until a few years ago because I've used UA-cam for ages. 😂)
I'm 67 I started my channel in 2019. But I stopped for 2 years because of a death in the family. But my channel kept growing. So in March of 24 I started again. I need 121 more subscribers to get monetized. So I was real happy to find your channel. I love to see how others achieve their goals. Its been a struggle for me.
I’m going to subscribe, I haven’t even seen your niche but I’m intrigued because I can relate and I like that you are moving forward. I lost my mom at age 23 and I lost my brother when I was 26, he was only 30 years old. I miss them everyday and think about them everyday. Time is the only thing that really helped with me. Along with nice people, Caring people that took time out of their day to help me and make me try to have a better day in the most tough times. I want to start putting videos about my journey, what I’ve learned and who I’ve learned from. Try to relay that you can always learn from anyone at any age, that maybe we can have a different perspective if we listen and learn, share some of my life and maybe change at least 1 persons views on life.
We’re a small channel started by my wife and me, and we’re incredibly thankful for our 29 subscribers who support our dream. Though the slow growth can be challenging at times, we stay optimistic and are committed to putting in more effort to bring you great content. To all new creators- Never give up team
That's awesome I have started a channel with my gaming boys trying so hard to make it work I'm at 44 subscribers, I have been uploading content trying my best. Hope it works..trying to stay positive 🙏
i really hope so, just became #18 for you and watched ur videos to give u some hours!!!! ❤❤currently at 102 hoping to reach 1000 by the end of the year without quitting,
Congratulations Jen! Appreciate the mention in the description. It was very interesting listening to your story about the week you had one sub and could have easily given up then, but soon after you 'figured' out a bit of UA-cam puzzle out and immediately started seeing success with that big upswing in the graph. So many creators reach the point just before that upswing and believe UA-cam is not for them and give up. And yep, couldn't agree more about skills and resources not being important to begin with. You can learn skills and acquire gear overtime. Mindset is the most important thing a creator needs to have. Commiment Consistency Passion Paitence

And now this one has gone viral too. This type of video where someone is just talking openly and honestly about their experience is what UA-cam has always been about.
58 here as well! I've been watching a few vids like this and have decided to give the platform a real push! I've only dabbled up till now and not seriously at all. Time to make a change!
I am a “silver and solo” American woman and Really enjoy your straight-forward style, interesting topics, and honest approach to real life. I am a subscriber for quite a while now. I look forward to your weekly vlogs and coming along with you on your journey. You help me get some perspective on my own life and journey. Thank you and congratulations on your success with You Tube!
@mybackyardisdisney 😄 yes me too, I made a plan and decided to join the field of vlogging but the obstacles is that I need to learn how to vlog, editing, and I'm a little bit scared to face the camera. But I decide to try faceless silent vlogging since I'm not a good speaker and my voice might be terrible. But I learned that step by step, we can make a progress. I dont have expensive equipment but I just newly bought a budget phone galaxy a15 5g. Silver&Solo said she too started with phone only. Besides senior people has only few years to live 😄 🤣 and who knows if tomorrow we are still living 😄 🤣 😂 so vlogging for me is a sort of enjoyment, sharing ideas, and knowing people. Good luck.
@ianthiaanson3757 Me too, navigation is a bit confusing but keep on watching UA-cam how to edit etc from different vlogs and it's good if we can meet vloggers from a neighbourhood for assistance.
I used UA-cam Shorts to blow my channel up. Took me 7 months to reach 150k subscribers. I just got my checkmark and the silver play button. I posted 4 shorts per week the first 3 months and then went to 2 per week. Now, I'm planning on adding in some long form content to boost the income. My first month being monetized I made over 2k. Keep at it!
I’m a watcher not a video maker but I like you and you give great advice. I’m 55 and dyed blonde lol but older women really need to bond, share and have fun. Thank you.
I am a recently widowed woman who is now living my best life. The money is mine, the home is mine, and the bills.....well, they're mine. I am lucky. My finances are more or less stable and in about 3 years my mortgage will be paid off!!
Love to hear that! I'm a widow as well. It's been almost 8 years but now I'm living my best life and going back to school to change careers from Accounting to Marketing. I'm planning for my channel to be about lifestyle of a 50+ free range widow,
Great story, and I am happy to see you are satisfied. Being a UA-camr is very similar to running your own business. You should upload things people want to see, just like businessman should offer product/service that people need. And when the growth becomes real, you can consider hiring people to help you run your channel more efficiently. The most difficult part is starting and growing of course, but consistency and hard work (with a little bit of help from Fame - ster of course) will always pay off at the end.
I’m too 59 years old been wanting to create a Chanel. I love the way you explain everything from dedication, discipline , consistency, thank you for sharing
This video is very inspiring! I had absolutely no experience when I started my channel at 50 years old! I was recently monetized and I was shocked at how much Adsense paid! Don't give up guys! Our age is our super power! 😄
Hey Jen! Today is my birthday, I turned 57… 3 years ago I had to give up my career of 35 years as a hair stylist due to injuries… i’ve been trying to reinvent myself and ending up with emotional dead ends. I stumbled across your video this evening and you really inspired me… Thank you! You got a new follower and a new student.🤓
You could talk about hair care in your 50ies and beyond. Because my hair texture changed with meno pause, the horrifying hair loss that came with thyroid problems, etc etc - it has changed the way I look, how my face looks and my overall appearance. I'm at the point where I am seriously considering wearing a wig. There must be hundreds of thousands of women out there with the same/similar problems, needing suggestions and help. You could be that person!
Happy belated birthday! I recently became allergic to 3 different chemicals in nail supplies at the salon this month and I'm not sure what to do moving forward. I got contact dermatitis and I'm allergic to gel polish, hard gel, and acrylic. Thinking of starting a UA-cam channel using natural nail lacquer instead of gel for my videos. Would you guys watch? What would you want me to show?
Congratulations on becoming monetized! I’m grateful that the Google algorithm put one of your videos on my feed - you are interesting and very personable. I enjoy watching your videos, they are just the right length and they are so authentic and friendly, I feel like we are friends. Thanks, Jen!
I think it was more than luck or hard work. You've struck a chord with people who are like you. I'm silver and not solo but seeing you thrive helps me not fear being alone if it ever happens to me. Congratulations.
I’m 67 and just started the journey when I was 66. You accomplished that so quickly. Amazing- I’ve a long way to go but keeping going. Thank you for sharing. 🙏🏻💗
Hi Jen, A Fellow Silver here, and today, for the very first time, I posted my two first videos. The Angels placed your video in my feed for inspiration and training. My goal this year is to learn videos, UA-cam, and to share them. I am excited to watch some of your videos and learn from you. Thank you for posting your journey and helping others along the way!
I'm 69 years old and your video is giving me so much confidence that I can do this too, in my own niche, which is sewing & pattern design! Thank you so much for your video!!!
Oh my god. The algos have gifted me today! Your channel was exactly what I needed. I've been so stuck in analysis paralysis that I've done everything except - press record.
Oh Jen. Well done on your success! I agree with other comments. The secret sauce is you. You seem both sensible and likeable. I’m 57 and have been thinking about starting a channel for 5 years. It’s wholesome to find others who, like you, show it’s possible at any age. Subscribed for sure.
43 years old here and just starting this journey, and while I may be younger, I resonate with you and your message. I also wanted to show my support. Subscribed!
Good for you! This video was incredibly encouraging. I took notes. I'm sitting pretty at 27 subscribers and three weeks ago decided to be more intentional about posting videos about grief support and the healing journey. I am batching content right now and I look forward to seeing where I am in 10 weeks!
I am also silver but not single. The thought has been rolling around in my head to start a channel of my own, but I just didn't know if anyone would want to listen to a senior. You have proven to me that they will. Thank you so much for the inspiration! 🥰
This video is so encouraging. I think you are growing so fast coz you are a very nice soul and personality. And also maybe God is paying you back from what you lost from ur previous employer...❤
You are fabulous! Thank you. I am 50, my great job of 8 yrs terminated the position and now I am on my own learning just like you. Thank you for this information. I will try hard and learn more!

I love this! I am 56 and often worry about my own job security. I keep trying to think of things I may be able to do when that time comes. This is some motivation! As much as I watch UA-cam, it just never occurred to me that I could do something like this. Well, now I am thinking otherwise! Now I just have to find my “niche”! Thank you!!
Just finished this video. 47 year old woman here. Had a career preoviding therapy to hands and upper extremities my entire adult like until 9 years ago. I transitioned from full-time to part-time in 2012 and then transitioned to stay at home mom. Feeling a bit lost at sea. I know that returning to the workforce in some capacity would be healthy for me, but I no longer feel called to my previous profession. I want my daughters to see their mom driven to something and work to achieve it. How does a woman create a new chapter in her own biography? Thank you for being so real. The world needs more of it. 💙✌️

43-year-old UA-camr. Just started a horror and mystery channel for teens and preteens! I’m going to watch all of your videos. I was so inspired by this one.
You are the second person that I have followed because of your age/new UA-cam endeavor. I have learned tons from Tim Childers and now I’m learning a lot from you. Today is my first day following you and I’ve just been watching one video after the next. You have a lot of great tips and I am taking notes. Tim was similar to you with his new retired me channel until he did one video on decluttering and it took him through the roof with subscribers and he learned that sometimes it is just a topic that a lot of people like that might be the thing that takes you to new levels. He did a video about decluttering 35 years of stuff as a newly retired person. He is also living alone. And I am sure UA-cam directed me to your videos based on the fact that I followed him which I am very glad for. Although I go back to work in two days because I am an educator, I will be finding time to follow you.
I put up videos about my UA-cam journey on my Patreon site and the community there are all about starting and building UA-cam channels. Very supportive and helpful. www.patreon.com/SilverandSolo

Hi there, I'm a South African who started a UA-cam Channel about a month ago and to tell you the truth my channel is growing slow, but I trust God that it will grow. I just wanted to let you know that you are a true inspiration.
One thing I think will help the algorithms is to interact with each comment (a like or comment). Encourage interaction between subscribers, as well. Just found your channel. I’ve been considering doing something similar, although don’t know that I have a single niche that anyone would be interested in. Because I support small channels, I will help you, by start rewatching a playlist when I go to bed & let it play while I sleep. I can’t stand watching ads, but I don’t mind letting them run while I snore 😂. You may be my inspiration…
@@SonetLandman, It could be your niche if you are struggling and thinking it seems hopeless to get monetized. I had a UA-cam channel for years, and it never went anywhere. It was depressing because I posted videos at least three times a week. Later, I posted every day, and I had about 20 subscribers. On May 12, 2024, I had about 20 subscribers. That day, I had a little over a half hour of watch time and 51 views. That was pretty normal for me, even though I had about 150 videos on my channel. Then, I watched a video about making videos in the kid's niche. The lady said you would get significantly more views and subscribers. I had one kid's video posted already, but I did not have it set as made for children. The video had 4 views. So I switched it to made for children, and it went crazy. I made that little video myself on May 19, 2024, and I think it's pretty lame, but so far, it has 5,339 views! However, I have one video that currently has 15,075 views! I posted a video yesterday, and it already has 8,127 views! That one video also got me 46 subscribers yesterday and 42.8 hours of watch time. I have only been in this niche for about 2 weeks. I had about 20 subscribers when I started this niche, and I currently have 725 subscribers! So, I gained about 700 subscribers in two weeks! I never could have imagined that this could happen. Sometimes, I feel like I am in a dream and will wake up and have 20 subscribers again. You can check out my channel to see for yourself. ua-cam.com/channels/XeWbeslERni5R050XOoCtw.html (Curious Kids Network) These are just simple kid's videos. Most of them I don't even make myself. I use AutoShorts.ai. I am on a plan that costs $69 a month. For that $69, they make and post two daily videos on my UA-cam and TikTok accounts. What I love about it is that the videos are professionally done, and no matter what happens in my life, they are posted twice a day without my assistance. You can check it out here: autoshorts.ai/?ref=rk4155 Their videos have gotten me over 8,000 views in one day!
I know you were excited when you saw 29 new subscribers and 999% more than the previous 7 days!! That was the turning point. Thanks for sharing your inspiring story!
I am at 23 subscribers in nearly one year of starting. But I am on a journey of learning and one day the community that I aim to bring value to will turn up in force and get the value and encouragement I aim to bring. Hey, 23 is more than 2.
WOW--Congratulations! I am so impressed that you did it in 10 weeks. However, you were obviously willing to learn from the "experts" and that is key. That's impressive! I could really use the expertise of this manager for my dwindling portfolio. Who’s the professional guiding you?

Real person is what we like and appreciate ❤
If you think she is lying and faking her age or her solitude, then take it up with her, not me.

I have a phone, and a dog or three. lol.
In my experience...Phone and a dog are all you need! :)
The number of middle aged audience members on UA-cam is growing, I hear. 😉 So, no reason why anyone should not want to see you. (Hadn't even realised that the younger demographic was so prevalent until a few years ago because I've used UA-cam for ages. 😂)
@@DrSusanneKurz I'm glad the demographic is growing. I've used it since the beginning lol. I didn't realize there were so many older people.

So in March of 24 I started again. I need 121 more subscribers to get monetized. So I was real happy to find your channel. I love to see how others achieve their goals. Its been a struggle for me.
Just subscribed!
Nice meeting you done

Congratulations Jen! Appreciate the mention in the description.
It was very interesting listening to your story about the week you had one sub and could have easily given up then, but soon after you 'figured' out a bit of UA-cam puzzle out and immediately started seeing success with that big upswing in the graph. So many creators reach the point just before that upswing and believe UA-cam is not for them and give up.
And yep, couldn't agree more about skills and resources not being important to begin with. You can learn skills and acquire gear overtime. Mindset is the most important thing a creator needs to have.

@mybackyardisdisney
😄 yes me too, I made a plan and decided to join the field of vlogging but the obstacles is that I need to learn how to vlog, editing, and I'm a little bit scared to face the camera.
Good luck.

I used UA-cam Shorts to blow my channel up. Took me 7 months to reach 150k subscribers. I just got my checkmark and the silver play button. Hi happy weekend
Thanks happy new month to you
Great story, and I am happy to see you are satisfied.

God bless you
You could talk about hair care in your 50ies and beyond.
