What ever track/buss/group/send you click on anywhere in Cubase becomes the 'Focus' or selected item. When you click on a track for example, it becomes a highlighted color to let you know you have selected it. That selected or 'focus' item color can be customized to any color you want.

@@Featherlightstudio You're not going to believe this but I'm back and STILL struggling. I'm able to make the main grid area white-ish... but can't seem to find a way to make background for tracks and other stuff white.... My menu doesn't even look like your. Plase advise.
