I just installed the camera on my rockwood 2608bs, but cannot get the camera to sink when disconnected from my truck power cord. Do you use the 10 amp fuse when at a camp site or should the shore power allow you to sink for a signal. It works fine when driving and hooked up but can't get the monitoring feature to work when unplugged from the truck. Help please.
You will need to use the 10 amp fuse trick to power the camera. That’s the only way to get power to the running lights on the trailer without being connected to the truck. You could add a switch but the fuse will do the trick.
IMO, all these Haloview reviews on UA-cam are tainted because Haloview "reached out" to the reviewers with free cameras in exchange for a review. There are literally hundreds of seminar reviews on UA-cam. I am not impugning the reviewers, just the process.
I completely get what you’re saying. I can honestly say that I’ve used other cameras and Haloview has been the best yet. We have a Rohent R9 installed on our Cargo Trailer and it is better than not having a camera. It cuts in and out and the picture freezes up constantly at speed. It does work well enough to see what’s behind you, but it leaves much to be desired. We’ve also used the Furrion with the five inch monitor and it worked well at first. The picture was pretty good but the five inch screen made it tough to see things clearly. After sitting in the hot truck for a year, the screen became foggy and almost useless. The screen on the Haloview is extremely clear but it’s also pretty large. This can be a con if you don’t have a good amount of dash space. Hope this helps and thanks for watching!
We just installed the BT7 Touch. We agree it is a great camera! - Michelle

@buildyourownadventure Anyone know a usa phone # support for haloview?
I don’t have a phone number for Haloview. I would email Ericka. You can find her email address on their website.
