- After lifting our 30 LB propane tanks to check the level, I said this is the last time and I was on the search for an easier way. I came across the Mopeka Pro Rv propane tank check sensors and after watching videos and reading reviews I decided to pick them up and make a video of the install.

Much harder to center with a full 100 lb vertical tank. I just set mine up. 😁
Mine is about as centered as yours.
You mentioned these can be used on aluminium tanks, so how do you stick the sensor onto the bottle its not magnetic?
If you go on their website they have mounts that you can purchase to put these sensors into. They would also work on the steel tanks, they will help you center it every time.
Question. When you refill the tanks do you take them off so you don’t loose them?
The most frustrating part of these sensor installs is the placement / alignment piece. Also, the pucks move when you're traveling and encounter rough roads, requiring another round of placement / alignment in order to get somewhat accurate tank level readings.
Does the Pro sensor have a USB plug to connect via the power bank or throw other power supplies? How long does his battery live?
I want to install the sensor on my car's propane tank 70 liters. It is cylindrical and located horizontally.

No it does not have the USB plug but the battery lasts a long time. I believe they work on horizontal tanks as well and they do have a mounting collar as a way of mounting.
What can I use for lubrication when I change the battery?
