@@Theoldironworkshop My x wife bought an old antique dining table and had it in our living room. I kept hearing a sigh when I went near it and I got the feeling that there was a female spirit attached to it and that she was a mother who fed her family at that table and was attached to it. I have a motion detection light that automatically goes on when someone walks into the hallway to my bedroom. That light started to go on when I was alone in the house and I was around the corner in my bedroom and nowhere near the sensor. I felt it was her moving about the house. I waited until there was no one else in the house and I talked to her with a kind voice and told her that her family was waiting for her in heaven and that she should could go to them by going towards the light. After that I saged the house and I've never had any feeling or sign of her since. I'm convinced that most spirits are just confused and you can talk to them and help them pass over. I don't know if the sage actually works but a lot of people swear by it and it grows almost everywhere in Texas. Good luck!
I agree with your friends in Houston, the donor car was submerged, but it astounds me that someone would go to all the effort to install an engine without at least pulling a valve cover. 🤦♂️
I like every update on this project ! I would love to have the same freedom in modifying a car like that in France, mainly in a proper and safety way like you do ! it's gonna be a real nice car at the end

I’m currently doing a 1950 Chevy coe truck build ,aired suspension. This was a great deal of help and info video, thank you. Looking forward to the next one.
Well I’m very keen to learn how the hearse will look when everything is ready so I look forward to your next vlog and send you love from the Netherlands
Well, I funny thing is this car may have been built by somebody from my family when we lived in Flint. Both my mother and my father aside, worked for GM from the early days Until the 80s. When we moved to Los Angeles.
Looks like that 9inch came outa an F series truck with the spring pads being on top of diff housing. So it’s gunna be pretty wide and have a bigger wheel stud/lug pattern.
Brown's auto salvage there in Texas has a huge collection of 50's Caddy's. Might have some parts for ya. They have a couple " Flower" cars too. One is an Imperial of all things. Oh , Happy Holidays to you and the family man ! 👊😎👍
Yes, purchasing a larger one is in my short term. Plan for sure. The one I have I bought specifically for sheet metal and I bought it like 20 years ago. I can no longer get it to work and frankly it’s not large enough to even worry about trying to get it to
@@Theoldironworkshop I’m not up on those new fangled devices. I’m very old school, the blue flame wrench or sawzall are my weapons of metal mayhem! Lol
That is a car chassis built to last :o) I popped off part way through to go make a brace bar for my winch. There were tube-plugs, heat- bending, milling a slot and everything ^-^
See, I told ya, when you pulled that valve cover it had obviously been flooded at one time . 😫 Yeah that's a nice looking kit. Nice to get something done well these days. Even the welds are nice. Good tutorial. It's nice you put that much effort into teaching us cheapo hanger on subscribers the proper way to do sh*t ! Somewhere along the build you should take the time to box that frame. So glad my Merc is. It holds everything nice and straight. Holy crap, is your dog Pit & Australian Border Collie ? Ours is and could be your dogs twin. Crazy man ! Yeah sometimes I get that feeling I'm not alone. We got a shadow something in our house. I catch it out the corner of my eye sometimes. It doesn't f*ck with us so I ignore it . I'm telling ya. A shelter tent with plywood floor is an inexpensive way to protect a build. Just anchor it well. Later Man ... 🍻👊😎👍🍻 !!!
Yes, you got the dog perfect. Mother was red nose, pitbull father was border collie. The lady I got her from was hands and puppies out one day in an alley in downtown Austin. She showed me pictures of both of the parents. And she is the most allergenic dog I’ve ever. That damn dog cost me more medical bills than my kids do. But she’s pretty awesome. I’ve had her for eight years. Yeah and sometimes you get that just unsettling feeling that you can’t explain.
@@Theoldironworkshop Sorry to hear about your dogs allergies. Ours (Hawk) has been great. If something makes him burf he remembers and won't eat it again. Has no allergies thank God but when he was young he used to eat a lot of small diameter oak branches. He used to sh*t what looked like boy scout camp fires ! Was kinda hilarious. 😂 Nice job on the Caddy's rear suspension. Till next segment 👊😎👍.
I hope you do it up the way it used to be heck get you a casket to put back there build it yourself but when you pull it out at car shows and what not when you open it it's really a beer cooler .I mean put the rollers and all that it had when it was used as a hearse. Cool would that be heck you could even sell beer.

@@Theoldironworkshop its in a class a motor home and gets about 9mpg. The miles are low because the owner died and the family never used it. But, add fuel injection for the performance.
