Your presentation IMO is fantastic. Currently I have a normal diagnose but I am suffering big time. The endo won't do more and has told me twice in the last 14 days that my GP should be the one to go forward. I am in a health crisis, no family or friends, and I can't think straight. I have no hope left. Should I complain about the endo to a higher authority? My area has no other endos.

Just went to my yearly VA appointment. Got a brand new Dr out of residency. She only wanted to run a TSH. Every other doctor I have had, always runs a full panel bc I have hashi’s and did have hypo at one time. Infections usually raise my TPO. I can’t take levothyroxine. I do take supplements (iodine, magnesium, D3/K2, Brazil nuts, and beef liver powder). It’s frustrating.

Yikes - you definitely need a full panel with a history of hashimotos! Sorry you're dealing with this - it IS frustrating for sure!

Hi Dr. Lyzenga-Dean, I've tried just about every type of iron supplement out there, and they all make me extremely sick, even in low doses. The only thing I've been able to tolerated is enriched foods. Any advice?

It could be worth your while to do a deeper dive into your gut health - or you could try some of the non-iron strategies in my ferritin-boosting checklist - you can check it out here: www.drkateld.com/ferritin-checklist-signup

That's a big question with a bigger answer. Will have to add this to my topic list for new videos. Thanks for the idea!
