Land line fact: the elderly mother of a friend of mine was living in NYC on 09/11/2001. Cell service was either completely out or flooded for hours. She was the only person they could reach because she had a land line which remained functional the entire time.

When you have a friendship for so long, it's only natural to finish each other's sentences. This country will go a long time before they find someone of Nancy Pelosi's quality, fortitude and intelligence to take her place in Congress or as Speaker. She is incredibly talented for the job. She will be greatly missed. I personally admire her and think that she is in the same group to be equal to Ruth Bader Ginsburg, strong intelligent women who made a huge difference because they stood by the Constitution and by the framers beliefs and goals for our countries' freedom and equality.
