- Florida knocks of Miami in the Orange Bowl in what would be Miami's last home defeat for ten years. I own nothing in this video and claim fair use. Credit to Sun Sports.

this was Miami's last home loss for the next 10 years
Washington in 1994 would be the end of the home win streak.
I was at this game . No easy feat to win there . After this gator beat down they won 10 years in a row at home . It’s sad how irrelevant Miami has become
I was there too. The City of Miami welcomes you to the Orange Bowl.
I got think that was the last time the Gators won there.
I actually thought our previous year's team was even better
thx for upload im a canes fan but i like to watch 80's canes games win or lose.
best team we had prior to the 96 team... it's a damn shame we were on probation that season.
No that 95 team was awesome. They just faced arguably the best team ever. This team tied Rutgers the following week!
Interesting that Florida would defeat both Miami and Tennessee in 1985. Those two teams faced off in the 1986 Sugar Bowl in New Orleans. The loss to Georgia was a bitter pill for Gator fans to swallow though in 1985.
Miami would reel off 10-straight wins and should have played PSU in the Orange Bowl for the title.
Those have to be the worst Miami Hurricanes uniforms !!
What a great 3-year run for the Gators from 1983-85. They went 9-2-1, 9-1-1, and 9-1-1 and beat the Canes twice. So may great pros too. As a Seahawks fan I’d like to personally thank them for John L. Williams. Go Gators!
They were also on probation for over 100 violations
So true. Hard to believe the 1983 Gators under Charlie Pell were the first team in Florida Gator History to be ranked in the Top 10 in the final AP Poll! And ‘84 Gators were the first Gator team to win the SEC ON THE FIELD
@William Joyce True, but it’s Charlie Pell who should be recognized for building those teams. Pell recruited those great players and raised the money to upgrade the facilities that were sorely lacking when he was hired. Galen Hall is an underrated Coach, but Pell built the 1980’s Gators, Galen just stepped in to guide the ship after Pell was unfairly fired.
@William Joyce Exactly William. It’s a shame the University doesn’t pay tribute to BOTH of those teams. The first 2 teams to win the SEC; which, as you know, was HUGE at that time. The 1984 Gators were without a doubt the best team in the country in 1984.

You should upload a game from the Wayne Peace era next.
Great game!!! GO GATORS!!!
best team but was nulified for recruiting
Awesome.
The 80's Florida teams went into turmoil and hell under Charley Pell, Galen Hall, and Gary Darnell
Charlie Pell built those teams. ‘84 Gators were the best team in the country & ‘85 was a great team, too. Pell recruited all of those players
and if we beaten nebraska in 95 we would of been tied with the canes
Nebraska 62
Florida 24
What a close game that was🏈🤣🤣🤣🌽🌽🌽
"If"? Lol no one was beating that Nebraska team that year.
Gator fan here... 95 Nebraska was NFL quality....
1995 Nebraska was the best team I ever watched on television.
the all orange tho
cool, when miama plays better teams, with actual defensive come back here and tell me,because the gators had one of the toughest schedules last year and we still do this year
GO GATORS
i hate the noles,Canes don't bother me GO GATORS
God I hate the Canes. They have the worst fans in the world. Goooooooo Gators!!!
