    I was 5 years old. My dad's Alma mater was UGA we always sat in same corner on opposing side. First game I can remember actually watching and understanding plays. I was jokingly cheering for Florida to tease my daddy being 5 and all but after watching the game and Steve spurrier coach Ive been a dedicated Florida fan first and have seen so many UGA games in person since however one game of the year I pick Florida over Georgia Everytime. God I had a great childhood. As case and point on the long walk back to the car past the greased up UGA statue typical with a burning cig in its metal doggy mouth outside that basketball court or whatever we would go pee at cause my dad knew a bathroom in there, we walked passed a group of drunk gator fans gator chomping at the defeated ga fans as my brother and I ran ahead chomping at my dad and cousin and youngest brother. One of the fans reenacted a field goal by kicking a container of KFC slaw that splattered all over my dad and those that supported UGA. My brother and I were untouched by the mayonnaise laden cabbage. Took it as a sign from something that I was a Florida Fan first, UGA when it didn't conflict. And to hell with Georgia Tech! God good memories. Jello shots passed thru the lines of people waiting to get in

    Steve Superior REALLY wanted to "hang 50" on the 'Dawgs' between the hedges on this day. He got his wish. That was so satisfying.

    Leading 45-17, 4th quarter, Spurrier still throwing, running trick plays. Classic. Even when Georgia gets an edge, Florida always has the last word

      And uga likes to bring up their 3 game win streak and series lead as if they haven’t been owned by Florida since the 90s

      Lol, care to modify your claim? Yes, UF dominated UGA in the 90s, but UGA is 8-4 the past 12 years. I'll take being "owned" like that every 12 years.

    Unfortunately, the power went out in my house the night before and I never got to record it. Believe me, I've gone out and searched EVERYWHERE for the Ron Zook field game and no luck. But stay tuned, I've got some other goodies in store lol.

    Hanging fitty on the pound puppies between the bushes was sweet, although they did throw a lot they ran just as much, and watching Kirby smart get smacked down on that return was sweet to!

    As a matter of fact, I do have the 1995 TN game! And I do my uploads based on fans' requests. And that game has drawn a lot of requests to my inbox, so that one's coming up. I've got about two more in line ahead of it (FSU 2009 and FAU 2011) and then I'll get to work on that one. Go Gators!

    2007- UGA celebrates and beats UF.
    2008- UF beatdown of UGA. Meyer calls three time outs at the end and to make Georgia suffer as payment for 2007

    I sat in Florida Field in line to get a student ticket to this game. Drove up the morning of the game and had a great time. Their place was empty (well you know what I mean) by halftime. All the Georgia fans said they had World Series tickets for Game 6 in Atlanta. Yeah, ok. Sanford Stadium held about 90,000. At the end of the game there couldn't have been more than 10,000 people left (almost all of us were Gators). So 80,000 people claimed to have tickets to the World Series where Atlanta-Fulton County Stadium held at most 50,000. Georgia math, I guess. 🤣

    In his time at Florida Spurrier was 11-1 vs Georgia and LSU. That's an insane stat. He lost to both of them in '97 and that is the only reason Peyton Manning was able to win his one and only SEC championship.

    This game is the reason Kirby has it out for us so much. This curse should be easier to break than the one we endured under Jimbo after one of our former WR's banged his wife. Boy does he hate us. . .

      The stadium was being renovated

    • @Rob-bo7yn
      @Rob-bo7yn 3 роки тому

      The stadium was renovated for the Jags. So the 1994 game was played in the Swamp and the '95 game at Georgia so each team got a home game out of it. Jags 1st season was 1995 so in reality the Cocktail Party could have been played in Jax.

    • @pronkb000
      @pronkb000 Рік тому

      @@Rob-bo7yn Weirdly, Florida is supposed to be the "home" team in odd-numbered years, so they got stuck with an extra road game in '95. Not that it mattered, but I wonder why they did it that way instead of having Georgia host first.
