I want more updates to the main legacy. (another youtuber mentioned a sequal but thats probably his theory) but I hope for more outfits more hairstyles for both genders and more brooms and wand handles. allowing classmates to follow you on adventures and to romance them its super simple request.

I wish they’d shrunk the overworld by 50% and instead packed the castle with secrets and stuff to do. I think most people would have been fine without 50 Merlin trials if there had been tons more stuff to do _inside_ hogwarts.
I agree. That map was absurdly large and most of the content was outside the castle after the first part of the game.
There is enough secrets to find in the castle would make it to busy to pack too much in the castle

I was shocked that the castle wasn’t littered with things like the viaduct bridge puzzle or the clock tower doors puzzle. The coded doors were okay but I think too many of the secrets rested on those and the leveled alohomora locks
Also they should make different spell challenge rooms like the depulso/accio block rooms. They could do other type of rooms with the freeze and fire spells or any of them really
I want romances, companions to explore with, a morality system and to actually earn House points. You know, the 4 BIG things they promised and then cut at the last minute

I just wanna be able to sit down on one of the benches outside and enjoy the ambience of the game.
This is the biggest for me!! That’s a the fact that you can interact with like any of the student NPCs on a Regular basis outside of classes. It felt very lonely despite being surrounded by other characters 😭
@@LaLaLaLaNom I definitely feel there should be an interaction button to interact with other students, it doesn’t even have to be an in-depth dialogue system, just being able to walk up to other students and press a button to say hello and they’ll just tell you some gossip or random bit of dialogue or something.

Quidditch, in form of tournaments, training, challenges etc.
Wizard Chess, same as above.
Romances, going on dates, expand friendship.
Improved pets, they can follow you, or be present in the room of requirement etc.
Improved classes, challenges within the classes you follow, skills that synergize with these classes.
I highly doubt they would add quidditch since its a main story beat that it got banned. Maybe in the sequel. besides the flying controls wouldn't lent themselves very well to a fast past minigame like quidditch.
They are making a standalone multiplayer quidditch game so it likely won't be added to this game

Some relatively small things I'd like to see added:
1) The ability to sit down. Just chilling outside somewhere or in the common rooms would be a nice touch.
2) The ability to customize your room in the common rooms, the same way you do in the room of requirement.
3) NG+, should have been a day one thing, but better late than never I guess
4) The ability to change the time of year, would be so cool to just pick what you want the weather to be.
That's just to name a few. As Retro said though, people need to REALLY keep their expectations modest.

@@ejwillison2001I like to think they made the game like the movies preformed. In the movies, the characters attending classes were usually shown in the beginning and showed the casual time. Later in the movie when the plot developed, they rarely showed any classes and focused more on the villains and plot advancements. I’m just assuming that’s what Hogwarts Legacy went for as well

I hope to see companions. Harry Potter would not have been Harry Potter without Ron and Hermione. I think our Hogwarts Legacy characters would feel more well rounded if they had a companion or two they could travel with.
We never got to see our Hogwarts Legacy friends interact with each other, aside from Ominis and Sebastian. They could be our gang where we can choose who to befriend the most; the most developed relationships could take different quests and interactions.
I'd love to see some options to change the course of the the Ominis/Sebastian story. Maybe navigate the story line to a little happier ending.
I mean it would be nice. But i wouldn't want them to be constantly with me through the whole story. (Like Final Fantasy.) It's the reason i don't play FF.
@DBLCreations play FFXIV then. Companions are not always with you and it caters now more to the single player experience despite its MMO nature.

I would love to see more interactions, as some examples, in the common room, you should be able to sleep, sit anywhere, talk to other students, store equipment you don't want to sell, maybe play wizard chess, we need incentives to go there and be more like students, a consequence for escaping during the night.
Somethings like in order of the phoenix where we could play gobstones and build ladders so we can walk around on the castle roof would be cool

Also gobstones as you say, in Hogwarts Legacy maybe we could have a tournament about that with Zenobia and other students after helping her.
Things like actually using the dining hall or going out with companions would also be nice.
I really love the game but would be nice more immersion, it's weird being a 15 year old flying a broomstick in the middle of nowhere at 3am and fighting bandits like it's nothing, also bandits should be able to use unforgivable curses, there's a lot of cool stuff that can be made in the immersive aspect.

@@paulglass7921 It's weird! because sometimes in order to feel more immersed I visit the common room during the night and end up using the wait option from the map so I sleep in the floor next to the bed, but at least is something lol

Quidditch will never be added since there's a Quidditch-focused game going to be released. Besides, flying in the game is a pain in the ass. At least, during the race against Imelda Reyes. It's good for just traversing, but the race absolutely sucked balls since we had to do so many sharp turns and it was easy to get turned around.

@@alexflipfilipowski6965 no it doesn't, but having a multiplayer mode akin to GTA Online or Red Dead Online would give people more reasons to play the game. It could also, technically, add to the campaign's story. Either serving as a soft-canon prequel or telling of events during Ranrok's Rebellion that our character never knew about. We would also get to be whatever kind of character we wanted. Freshly graduated wizards, adults, etc. Of course, that isn't what most of the Hogwarts Legacy fans desire for a multiplayer mode. They just want a Quidditch multiplayer mode to satisfy their need for Quidditch. I personally don't give a flying fuck about Quidditch, as I don't care for sports or flying in general, so I'm fine without such a mode.
Just a few secret passages would be nice, making the castle more book accurate. Maybe they could actually move the potions class to the dungeons 😂
But the potions class are in the dungeons in the books, i dont remember they saying it was always there.
According to the lore, Rowena ravenclaw made the floorplan of Hogwarts ever changing so 300 years before the books potions might have been in another place 😅

I think they should add a feature where you have to be in your bedroom before a certain time so you don’t get in trouble and some quests may need you to be out past the bed time so you have to risk getting caught , and if u get caught u have to do a service like maybe help in the schools kitchen

These developers will never have our mindset as far as what we real want …. Because it’s not about gaming it’s about money now which is sad they have the power to do it but they not about to do it …. And wonder why the games flops or ppl are disappointed we are the consumers we know what we want.
Nah coz the they encourage you to do your exploring to learn in the world outside as well as in the class room, that would just ruin the game.
@@EY3VISIONFILMSVFX I disagree with the notion that they have no idea what the customers want. They definitely do. I forget where it was, but I heard somewhere that the developers actually did consider not being able to explore the castle at night without the threat of being caught. But they decided against it because they figured a good amount of people would find it annoying. And they are most likely right about that. I am sure not everyone would enjoy a restriction like that.

I really don't understand why they didn't build it that way in the first place. It seems like it would have been easy but maybe they wanted to encourage you to use the battle arenas for that. Personally though, I found the battle arenas to be more involved so I didn't really want to go back and do them again because I didn't feel like I could sling some spells for a couple fights then walk away and do something else.
I really liked crossed wands and missed it so much especially as you have to do it in the beginning as it is part of an assignment

All I wish for is the full, fleshed out companion system. I want to bring Sebastian and Poppy on my cave exploring adventures all the time! The mods are nice for it but too buggy sometimes since they can mess up with their personal quests :( pretty much have to go the whole game without them and only have them for exploring at the end to be safe.
it is a definite shame the Devs abandoned the companion system. It works for characters who are roleplayed as solo acts, but not for characters intended to be about family and friends. My first character was Joanna Constantine, which makes it fine for her to be alone. For my second character, Hecate Scamander, it still makes some sense but allows for others. My third character, Wanda Maximoff, can easily fit the solo act role but would want to have a companion.

For QoL updates?
1. Ability to sit in chairs and sleep on the bed and even have face characters share your dorm (simple fix and has been requested by many).
2. Season slider post-game (for ambience purposes)
3. New Game+.
4. (Since it was long rumored to be in the code anyways) restoring the companion system so we can have Garrett Weasley or Adelaide Oakes follow us around in game.
5. CONSEQUENCES FOR USING DARK ARTS. Have Aurors descend on us for an additional fight if we use the Unforgiveables in a fight who are much harder than the standard mooks!
6. Restore the House Points (also rumored to be in the original code) to the game!
7. Ability to "attend class" more than once for those of us who like that simulator feel. Sure it is just a cheap way to gain XP but it might be useful for an NG+ that extends the level cap.
8. PREFECTS YOU NEED TO STEALTH PAST WHEN IT TURNS DARK IN THE CASTLE.
I am ok with no more story just add in more Hogwarts/Harry Potter QOL that makes it even more like you are there at the school.
And add replayable mini games and add new ones in hogwarts including fan requested ones like wizerds chess and gobstones and add collectables like every flavour beans or something reminiscent of the older potter games

I've got idea for a Hogwarts Legacy sequel. The second game takes place a year after the first game and the Main Character is starting his/her sixth year, but the Tri Wizard Tournament has been announced and two schools from either Japan, Africa, France, Germany, America, Australia, Spain or Bulgaria decided to take join in for a chance to win the Tri Wizard Cup. Plus I think that this sequel should have romance options for the Yule Ball as the Main Character can go out with either Poppy, Sebastian, Natsai or Amit.
Would be lovely to see not only main 4, but also Garreth and Ominis ❤
I definitely like the idea of the Tri Wizard tournament being the main/big focus of the sequel. If they dont just go for a different time period or something. Goblet of Fire is one of the most memorable of the series and has a lot of room for creative interpretations and ideas by the devs
Should be able to learn to be the half blood Prince/queen with the potions and the spells aswell should let choose to be a dark wizard or part of the order of phoenix should add leaky coldren and all them dodgy parts they needed dementors was sad there was none at all hopefully the next one is got all the missing features

i personally think since the game felt more like an "open world based in harry potter world" it shouldve gotten more side quests like in skyrim make more random encounters etc, make it more replayable etc

The game was amazing but so short, you could finish it in less than 20h and most quests were super repetitive, they really need to develop the story more

I think the main plot of the DLC should be finding a way to cure Anne.
It's a massive loose thread from Sebastian's storyline and by finding out Rookwood was the one who cursed Anne can open up a whole new avenue of searching for a cure.
The way i would picture it is Ominius asks you to meet him in the Undercroft where he explains that he wants to see if Rookwood left anything behind that might explain how he cursed Anne.
You're not allowed to tell Sebastian as Ominius is worried he might go to far like he did before.
Through Natty and Officer Singer you think you find a way to cure Anne.
The cure devised is a potion but you need to collect a few ingredients leading to a few adventures.
1st - Kelpie hair - Poppy helps you find it's den.
2nd - Niffler's fancy - A trip to the Forbidden Forest.
3rd - Not sure but it's a common ingredient in prank items.
Due to remnants of Rookwood's gang supply lines have been disrupted - Everett joins you to restore pranks to Hogwarts - adds dungbombs to the tool wheel and teaches you the bubblehead charm so you're not affected.
For the 3rd quest a good idea would be to scare the dark wizards away with the dungbombs and making this quest a stealth based one. This would make Ravenclaw unique as they plan things out rather than charging in head first.
Once the ingredients are collected Professor Sharp brews the potion as you and Ominus find Anne and bring her back to Hogwarts.
On the Graphorn, as it's the only thing big enough to carry all three of you. Much to Ominus' horror and Anne's delight.
Let me know if you think it's a good idea or if i'm just being silly.
Also am i the only one who found the haunted Hogmead quest to just be annoying?

good idea, but what if you stuck by Sebastian through the whole way? I doubt Ominus would go to you. Besides, since Sebastian is the one we told about Anne being cursed by Rookwood... he would be the one actively searching anyway. Ominis never bothered to search in the first place since he was like Anne and the Sallow's uncle. Didn't believe there was a cure. So, it would really be Sebastian asking for assistance with a line of dialogue depending on if we sided with him or the others through his questline.
Would love to have the option of becoming an Animagus (like in the mobile game Hogwarts Mystery) but actually be able to turn into (whenever you want) and control your character while in their beast form, instead of just in cutscenes or when it's a requirement in the game.
On a side note, really looking forward to playing the Haunted Hogsmeade quest on PC.

Eh, I’ll come back to it if they add a dozen or so more spells and create spell progression paths that really lock you into a type. Like giving up dark arts to progress further in charms, giving up offensive spells to progress further in herbology, etc. Would really expand replay-ability to try out different builds.
The things I want for this game are pretty major overhauls:
1. Follower and friendship mechanics, ala Bioware
2. More friendship related scenes with the characters, particularly those in your own house
3. The Common Room being more of a hub than the Room of Requirement, which is very lonely
4. Classroom mechanics ala Bully
Basically, it needs to be less lonely and more social with the characters. The whole point, I should think, of a Hogwarts simulation would be to make friends and go to classes, which is completely absent from this game.

@@aschita1569 They are yeah. It's why a lot of people feel like Sebastian is your boyfriend because none of the other characters get any real depth. And I love Sebastian, but he could have benefited from more friendship conversations as well. Not to mention Ominis. The way the game started, it had you talk to three people in the common room, like you're going to be friends with them. But the game lied.

I'd love to see an extension to the beasts feature - more animal storage space, for one, but mainly more interactions with our little friends. I'd love to do more than just brush/feed them and kick a ball. I want to be able to hug them, play more games with them, maybe even train them. I know that the more in-depth stuff is quite a big ask, but small steps towards that would be amazing! Also, if we could use our tamed hippogriffs, thestrals, graphorns (and addition of unicorns) for our mounts, I would be so happy. I just want to ride my shiny unicorn around the highlands.
no I totally agree, looking towards Newt and his magical suitcase... and how his interactions are with them.. they are his family so to speak, he gives love and gets love from them.. (most of the time).

i would also like to add that after watch the video i did recall finding about 10 of them in my first playthrough i might of found all 11 but i might of been playing while fighting off the exhaustion so i might've found all 11 with notes but like i said i do not recall it due to fighting sleep from 2 all nighters of exploring to build up the 100% completion
Thought it was odd we could have beasts but not pets. Picking a pet would be cool.
Harder difficulty would also be nice. The game gets way too easy if you’re level 30 and even trying a little with clothing.
Being able to ask the same students that come to us to accompany us (companions).
And biggest hope is more spells. Even just giving us some of those goblin or human npc spells they’ve already coded.
Yeah I thought we would have pets as well imagine how amazing it would be to own your own owl that you could fly around and control, you catch small creatures in the world, find wizard cards to trade with other students and maybe access areas only your owl can and find secrets

Honestly Sebastian’s voice actor has been VERY active with his Hogwarts Legacy work. Honestly, I think we’re getting more of the trio content, especially after they made the t shirts too

Not lore friendly
There are many things I would like to be added in this game or a sequel:
- realistic broom flight and managenement, broomstick differ in speed, amount of control you have over them especially in extreme weather conditions and lose their flying magic over time, it would be nice to include Nimbus 2000, 2001 and Firebolt as a broom model but not only a cosmetic change,
- quidditch
- more fantastic beasts and ways to take care of them, more difference in behaviour of beasts of different species and individual traits
- more potions and plants slots, new potions and plants and more interesting potion-making
- thestrals and dragons as mounts
- more ways to interact with people and have relationships with them
- any additions to school life would be nice
- more spells and opportunities to interact with the world
- opportunity to visit iconic locations outside of Hogwarts and other wizarding schools
- a fame system, getting recognition for our actions in the hamlets
- Hogwarts being more alive and dynamic
- gold coins being replaced by galleons, sickles and knuts
- more customization of character appearance and outfit
I agree with most of what you said but the broomstick models you mentioned where introduced years later so that would be off-canon and therefore undesirable
@@frederikkfoglfrey8664 It is off-canon. So is a student being more powerful than an entire auror office, priori incantatem effect between wands with different cores, snidgets not being extinct etc. It's a minor detail that could make flying a lot cooler.

Wish I could shut off animations such as Merlin Trials and Ancient magic. Everytime you complete one you have to watch about 10 seconds of animations, it gets old fast. Also does the character have to say "Revelio" out loud every single time you cast it. Shutting that off would be nice.
I’d love to see a diagonally or a ministry of magic dlc with an accompanying storyline!
The roleplayer geek in me just hopes these updates include letting us finally interact with furniture. I just want to sit down in a cozy chair in my common room or on a bench in the Great Hall for some feasting! 🤓

I’m hoping for more customization options, both in the character creator and the Room of Requirement. More hairstyles, more face and body types, more wall and floor styles for the Room, the whole shebang.
I wish the wall color settings I put into the RoR would stop changing back to the default. Maybe I'm the only one with this issue because I've not seen anyone else complain about it.

that might not be possible there is already so many hair styles in the creation screen as it is plus PC players have been downloading mods that pretty much breaks the immersion like for instance changing wands into guns and putting characters like peter griffon, professor oak and others in which just makes it seem more like the skins are making fun of not just the game but also trying to make alot of viewers feel like they are watching fortnite gameplay instead of a hogwarts legacy gameplay
Yeah, i just made a new character and couldn’t believe how basic it is. Somehow that didn’t bother me at first playthrough. I mean skyrim came out about 50 years ago and had way better character customization
skryim came out in 2011 so 13 years on november 11, 2024 why your saying 50 years then that would of been an arcade game only but its customization only gotten better with mods on pc but the playstation consoles do not get that much good detailed custom creation mods as pc and xbox does

I agree that I am not expecting new story content. One of my key complaints for the game is that is can get quite lonely. I'd love them to bring in the companion feature.

Having played through the game four times, one for each house, my only complaint is that I can't play the game anymore without deleting one of my characters, which I don't feel like cuz I really like all four. So a replay ability, or more character slots would be amazing.

Agree with this but backup your save files for your characters manually. Then put them back if you want to play as that character.

I agree with you retro! I’m just thinking repeatable classes, activities and duels. As for my wishlist as for features, I’m hoping they add the ability for us to sleep in our dorms and have a storage chest there and this one is a stretch probably but somehow add the points system. Imagine all those Merlin trials we did we open the game and see our house points soar because of it LOL. But it would make 100% the game even more worth it.
I like that they didn't do that as I think having things repeatable would make them monotonous, spoil what is there and ruin immersion.
well sure repeatable quests would be interesting but it can also break the immersion of the game which would lets be honest loose more players and getting major bad reviews that will just have any possible new players from wanting to buy and experience the game themselves
but I do find the house point system being made more accessible to get points than just the 1 or 2 quests that has a professor saying.
example: 15 points to (insert house name) or 10 points from (insert house name)
In the older games I love that you could use alohomora on walls or fireplaces to open secret rooms.

Since i started playing last yr i feel like this games has always been lacking in many departments. Here are my suggestions to improvement though some of them will not be possible
- Add relationship advancement system, something like Persona5, you bond with this guy so you get this special item or skills(really special)
- Add mini games, Wizard chess, wizard trading cards, treasure hunts, Quidditch etc.
- Add Moral systems and paths of story
- don’t add anymore unfun and unnecessary stuffs like Merlin trials, notes. It doesn’t make a game more fun
- Add more monster types and creature types( pixies, pheonix, mermaids, werewolfs, etc.)
-make enemy AIs smarter, attack have more mix ups, harder to block or dodge, coming all at once and more natural rather than staying away wait for their friends to finish attacking.
- Add diving in black lake+ secret cave or good items and underwater fights
- Add uniqueness to each house, like hufflepuff has special plants or ravenclaw could decipher ancient or special languages for secret magic that no other house could get access to.
- make sure secret place give you something special or broken or new ability, exploring should be super rewarding especially for hidden places. Please make places more interesting to explore, puzzles, fights gotta be good
- rework on skill trees, give us more build options, like shet loads.
Examples
- Spell mastery just basic stuff enchant spell like they have
- Beast masters, summon beasts along and let them fight with you
-Death eaters, big Damaging curse,powerful destruction capabilities
-Potion specialist, allow you to brew more potion even strength potion to go in and fight in melee or wolfbane potion for speedy fight like were wolf or even some potions that could effect stories that other build has no access to
Herbologist - give us more than just throwing Cabs and set up turrets, maybe we could use some mire zoning like planting that punching trees down or thorny plants to be barb wires.
Conjurer - this one is a bit more tom and jerry where you conjure items and use them on enemies, ex. Pulling out toy hammer and make it troll size and smack people or just drop jack in the box that jumps on their own to boom enemy, may be summon a chair and it’s a movable kung fu chair that helps you fight. You know? Diagon alley, hogsmede fun stuffs.
Etc. and add way more skills to each trees, get creatives

I think it's just going to be a few new cosmetic items. I doubt they've made a story dlc. They're already working on the next game but it would definitely be a welcome surprise.

Combining this with the fact that they said there won't be any story dlc for the first game I'm sure they're on the second one. Okay, on all platforms, (I currently have a switch, saving for an xbox rn) I'd love to see a bigger map, maybe adding Daigon Alley, more spells, additional mount options, the ability to sit and sleep, npc interactions, storage options, animagus and patronus availability, curfew and sneaking, dorm customization, quidditch, player customization additions, pet options, romance options, and maybe an opportunity to get the invisibility cloak.
I just want to be able to fly on campus and through the town. It just made no sense why you can’t fly, land or take off in the court yard or Hogsmeade

If you play on PC, there is a mod for this (Free Fly Plus). This also proves that there is no logical reason why you can't fly there, it works just fine by toggling a few colliders in the game. And it makes the game so much better. The only downside is that it doesn't work all the time, but mostly it does. And it makes the game so much more fun and immersive
I'm expecting quidditch, dragon mount, a Triwizard questline, the ability to travel time to see all the movies played in real time and a recreation of 1800 London.

It’s either a secret Quidditch DLC & or a new Storyline DLC that has you encountering Dormentors & eventually learning the Patronas Charm along with a couple of other extra Quality of Life spells..

I agree with the multiplayer possibility! It would be SUPER out there but early on in the development they said Ghosts of Tsushima was a game they were inspired by. They already have a system where you can have a companion help you. They could call it Ancient mode kinda like Legends mode but where each class has a different focus on ancient magic. Would be so cool, but not expecting it! Definitely a lot of work to pull that off
Make it multiplayer where we can do raids dungeons, missions together, more spells, let us become dark wizards or join the order of the phoenix, it’s so much they can do with this game

Hogwarts Palworld Style: Make House-elves your slaves, go into the real world and do dark arts underage wizardry, and catch the poachers themselves in your beast bag, bring them back to your room of requirement with a dungeon you can chain them up in. You know.. everything everyone wants now days.

The game was great but as i suspected the replay value is almost non existent.
Adding mouse look (for up and down) while flying around be nice.
I'd like to have some kind of magical doors from common room (maybe in this hidden part) to room of requirements. Common rooms are so detailed and cool but unfortunatelly there is nothing to do there and of course ability to sit would be great to just sit on the ground, on the sofa anywhere and just look at other students.
I hope in the new features they add better npc ai with routines for students and curfew at night to improve the immersion. Also maybe a way to use charms on students to cause pranks?
having a way to sell unwanted items within the school, like perhaps the Common Room area, would be great instead of fast traveling to Hogsmeade or wherever from the castle every time I need to off load some junk XD
There is one issue with the game that I have is there are side quest that apparently I am missing to 100% the game but there isn't a way to sort the completed quest to make it easier to look for what I am missing
Summer is ridiculous for something they most likely just need to flip a switch for (it is highly likely that all versions of the game already have the Haunted Hogsmeade content, it's just locked). They should turn it on for everyone in February, and then release the updates/DLC in the summer.
Even if its its nothing game changing like a MASSIVE DLC, I'm still excited.
What I'm thinking it will be someone quality of life updates, maybe a NG+, possibly PHOTO MODE, a save outfit feature, and some new cosmetics either through a quest or automatic once the updates hit.

Yeah, photo mode seems like an absolute must. I'm honestly surprised that one didn't happen sooner. Seems like an obvious one people would love.

The wand should really choose the wizard. It should take into consideration every choice you made, even to the point of the jars you broke or didn't break, before you get your wand.

If you want that immersion, you can already get it today by linking your game to your website account and do the quiz to determine that automatically based on your choices.

I'm wondering if they might do something with the character creation to make it more customizable seeing as the facial structures are pretty limited compared to other games.
I would like to see the vivarium expanded where you can build your own little home inside them. You can creat a cabin in them but you cant even go in it. I like to be able to go in it and decorate it like you can the room of requirements because by the time you built all your potion tables and plotting plants and such there is no room to really customise it with tables and chairs and such.
You're going to decorate a cabin within an imaginary wildlife space, within a magically enlarged room inside of a school/castle inside of a video game... Inception has nothing on you :)

I think crossed wands, the bowling game and option to reeat encounters with bosses should be added with extra difficulties. And Id like more House quests, and for choices to change depending on which house you're in.

Honestly, if they added in Quidditch, that would be sweet. Likely won’t be added because of the story. Maybe a post-game thing? Who knows.
I wish they’d add more creatures as well as the haunted quest line, like the Bowtruckle or The Swooping Evil. Also dialogue or romance options. That’s the only things I feel the game is missing, till a sequel is released.
I wish they would add more fantastic beasts into the game. If possible, all the fantastic beasts from all the movies and books.
Not sure if this means anything but if you zoom out all the way on the map its like 3x the size of whats playable......tons of room to add on more "levels"
I know what you mean, somewhat like they do in cyberpunk. But I think if they add new areas it will be more like destiny, through fast travel or floo or the train to access Gringotts the ministry or diagon. However it’s unlikely they will due to the need to keep content to put in future games
I think if they added the time turner where you need to time travel to different times and change certain things in various missions like in the prisoner of askaban changing the fate of buckbeak
I’m not getting my hopes up for anything too crazy but there’s literally an entire partially rendered northeast section of the map you can get to when you hop out of bounds and fly to it, it has a bit of castle ruins and everything. Like with Halo Infinite it could easily be used for an actual storyline expansion area 🤔🫣

I don't know how NG+ will work here. The Room of Requirement expands and adds things as we progress through the game, and charms like Alohomora are tied to their quests
Maybe keep our level, armor, cosmetics, the basic spells. Then the other story based spells and charms could be earned again. Which shouldn’t be too much of a problem since we’d fly through it depending on our setup and stuff. Just my idea how I think they can pull it off 🤷♂️
Would really love to see some kind if Chamber of Secrets DLC. Having a Guant attending Hogwarts during the time if the game, along with the actual Slytherin "S" in the girls bathroom, just tees up the opportunity for a good story line. Just because there was no mention of the Chamber opening before Tom Riddle did so in the main story, doesn't mean it couldn't have happened before his time with another of Slytherin's descendants, maybe a certain Ominis Gaunt.
It would break canon though.

@@jestermon101 theres actually another video i found that solves this issue, suggesting that instead of fighting it, it's an unkillable enemy and becomes more of an escape sequence at the end of the questline, where Ominis, who is blind and unaffected by its gaze, could use parselmouth to put it back to sleep.

I want them to add the ability to romance npcs. More content outside and inside the castle (secrets puzzles challenges). More dueling maybe even an online dueling feature. More spells. Maybe classes of wizard (like builds)
All I'd want is to be able to swith season. I hate that by the time you get to explore the map it is already autumn, and then later winter. I'd want to go out exploring when everything is nice and green, but midgame.
id like to see them put the potronus in the game it was in harry potter and itd just be cool to be able to have that, or have pets like owls, cats, frogs, rats, etc.
Yeah I’m surprised we can’t have a pet already in that game it would be so cool to have an owl you could actually fly around and control maybe you could use it to hunt small creatures and also find secrets from areas only the owls can access
I can wait. Truth be told I'll likely be more interested in revisiting the game later in the year than I would in February. It will give me more time for memories to fade and make playing the game again a bit fresher.
I keep thinking that in the clips we see the guardians of ancient magic create in the open world not just in the room of requirement- this would be a cool mission, to power up conduring, through a mission with the portraits in the map room. We always find plenty of moonstone.
I want to be able to change the seasons during the end game. I want to explore fall and winter more.

A lot of people are I think overshooting on the QoL stuff in terms of whats realistic. Personally, what I think is both possible and sensible would be:
- implement the talent-reset potion currently only available as mod
- increase base speed on the hippogryph mount so that for longer flights its actually worth choosing over the broom despite the loss in maneuverability
- less randomness from chest-rewards; I love this game, but you cannot give me a green cloak item as boss-battle reward. There needs to be /some/ relationship between chest rewards and collection effort
- selling materials to vendors, especially beast materials. Since the phoenix is a unique beast and you'll ever only have one its a material bottleneck for upgrades. You have no incentive to have more than one Graphorn, Unicorn or Hippogryph since all you do is overproduce materials you can't sell or use.
and on the list of QoL stuff nobody but me cares about:
- I want an auto-run toggle if only for that quest where you walk all the way to hogsmead
- the default-architecture banners in the RoR and the leveling meter should be using your house colors.
What? In SUMMER? Not for the anniversary? That's so lame. I've been looking forward to it in February, maybe a bit later, but "summer"? Sad. Hopefully the other things are worth the wait.
But then again I am not hopeful. Because while some of the things you mentioned are likely helpful for other games, the mods by community on PC are getting a ton of it done already. Plus actually depending on what the devs do, they might be adding stuff that mods already do, while breaking other mods :'D So....yeah these news are very underwhelming.
I think that update was a bit of a mistake considering people are already getting way too hyped. I see people thinking it will be a big DLC or even more a multiplayer which is even more unlikely. It, as you said, will probaly be quality of life updates.

I knew about the GOW DLC for months before it came out, I just never thought I would see it. Other gaming channels were covering it. I think they started 2 or 3 months after NG+ was released, maybe a month before. Memory is a bit fuzzy
if anything the only thing i really hope they add at some point is multiplayer.. even if its just like how Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora did it, where you can only play with 1 friend in your session at a time.. that'd already spark a whole lot of intrest for me to get back into this game. Like id love to fly around the map with friends or take care of my creatures with them.
Nah, leave it singleplayer and focus on the single player experiance.

Make actions effect the game, use wand from broom, able to become an Animugus, visit other dorms, able to battle other players in either crosswands , summuners court, wizarding chest. Hold more creatures in the vivarium, have pets, skip short scenes(Merlin trials,alohamora) etc
