Oh my goodness. I used to watch your makeup videos years ago and I stumbled across you again today. Your content has changed so much- it’s amazing. Love the plant content.
Did you know with liquidirt, you’re supposed to mix a cap full in a gallon of water- then use about a 1/2 cup of that mixture in a different gallon of water? And that’s what you use to water your plants. Just seems like you were using a cap full for every gallon you water with, which would be too much of the liquid dirt- it would last a lot longer for ya too. Nice to see you back again! 💚
Hi Cassie! Thanks, yes you're right! Usually on a regular watering day I add a splash of the Liqui-dirt gallon mix to my watering can and fill the rest of the way with water to dilute. I should have explained more about that in this video. Since I hadn't fed them any nutrients for quite awhile and I'm growing in a soil-less mix, I want to give the soil an extra boost for this months deep watering, so it's stronger than a regular watering day but it won't harm the plants, it's still very gentle on them and it stimulates their growth beautifully. But yes you're totally right! 💕🌿
Hi Christine, I’ve been watching you for over 10 years. I enjoyed your makeup inventory and purge, your butterflies and DIY items. How time flies, I lived in Phoenix for a few years back in the 1970’s Luke Air Force Base and loved it.
Always when I'm see your videos I found so much peas and happines! You are so calm and a awesome person! I have followed you many years now and when I'm seeking for anti-stress videos I'm going for your videos! They are they best. And you have inspired me so much to eat better, I'm so grateful for that! You are a true inspiration source! ❤️ Keep up your good work ⭐
Wow...I am so impressed by the beauty and consistency of the plant babies you nurture. Absolutely beautiful plants. I have followed you thru many interests but plants seem to be your shining star.
Christine, I think the one plant may be a monstera esqueleto. I could be wrong, but it does look similar to one. If it is, you totally scored! They're over $300 here for one with just a few leaves on them.
Thank you for these anthurium care insights!! I tend to be a very heavy-handed waterer, and have definitely noticed the yellowing edges on my queen and regale. I tend to do better with plants that like infrequent deep waterings, but I'm so drawn to anthurium leaves that I'll keep trying. Kudos to you for keeping on top of such regular watering, all of your anthuriums look really gorgeous and happy!
Hi Christine, great plant care video, thoroughly enjoyed it! Your plants look very happy and healthy. I like the fact that you grow your anthurium out of cabinet! That's what I do. I mean what's the point of collecting plants if you can't enjoy them being around you! Do you shower your big leaves ones? Do you shower the moss poles? How do you keep them moist?
Thanks Sue, I do tend to get into the thick of everything I'm doing or using. I just enjoy sharing and since I rarely do sponsored videos, I don't mind doing an occasional review or unboxing for brands I like.
Everyone commenting on your beautiful plants and me looking at your hair 👁👄👁 🥰 loving your hair curled and wondering if you've ever worn your hair In a bun? 🤔 I bet it would look pretty 😊
Wonderful job teaching your watering and plant maintenance SOPs. Thank you! I'm new to your channel so don't know if you've already covered this somewhere, but I didn't see you 'misting' your plants as a SOP. Do you have a humidifier that you monitor for your plant family? I don't. I use a hand mister, but then, I only have a handful of houseplants right now, too. Love your channel. I live in Tucson, too, a recent arrival from out of state. Be well. Ryn
Hi Ryn! Thank you so much, it's great to "meet" you! Welcome to Tucson! I usually don't mist my plants much anymore but I do use an Elechomes large capacity humidifier in the plant room and that keeps them pretty happy and encourages aerial root growth. I usually keep the humidifier set to 50% but with all the plants gathered together in the room, with their wet soil and moss, the humidity often stays higher in the 60s on it's own, without the humidifier turning on.
Hello. I love it when there are new videos of you and always give me motivation. Can you maybe if you will ever have some time 😉 a antherium video fot my birthday i am getting a antherium crystallinum but i dont really know how to take care of those plants as well sp i tought you can maybe to that 🤩🤩🌱
Hi Plume! A few things to check when troubleshooting are; does the pot or urn have good drainage and is the plant growing in the right: pot, soil, light, temperature and receiving the right amount of water and feeding. If it was growing great before but growth has slowed down it might be root bound and need a repot. Hope that helps!
Is it possible to give your plants too much Liqui-Dirt? I'd hate to see anything happen but you aren't using the Liqui-Dirt as instructed on the packet.
Thanks Carolyn! You're right, for this watering I'm giving the plants an extra boost of feeding this month since I haven't given them any extra nutrients in quite awhile and I'm growing in a soil-less mix. Liqui-dirt is super gentle though, it would take a lot to over-do it. On regular watering days (when I'm feeding them too), I add a splash from the gallon of water/Liqui-dirt mix into my watering can and then fill it up with purified water the rest of the way to dilute. 💛🌱
@@christinekobzeff I understand now. I should know you would to do exactly what you need to do for your plants. I can't get over your collection. Just amazing!

My plants do need a spa day!
I think you should make a totally separate channel all about plants and plant care 💚

How often are you watering with the chunky mix and terracotta ??
What about outdoor plants in urns? I notice they don’t do as well the 2nd & 3rd years? I want them to thrive like last year!
