So interesting to see how our taste in plants change and how it’s okay to embrace that change. I love when you do these videos because it’s inspiring and motivating for me and my plant collection. I hope you are still passionate and love all of your cacti and succulents, I would love to see an update video on that collection too!

Hey! So when you receive a plant in moss, I’ve learned that it’s so important to make sure that moss isn’t sopping wet. I’ve had a lot of plants do what that anthurium did for you! Those roots looked great when unboxing because they were. But days and days sitting in soaking moss is what was killing it! I’ve learned this the hard way, and fast! Always ring your moss out people! Always!!!❤️❤️😊

I watch a lot of plants video's and I notice that by watching them I narrow my likes and wants. I am into Hoya's, Monstera's, and some Philodendrons. Ferns I kill but I really love my heart shape one even if it gets crispy. I have a variegated Syngonium but I had to chop that because shipping stress and I am still learning to care for it. I love the deep green color and veins of my Alocasia Polly. I appreciate your videos and look forward to seeing more.

That's so interesting how growing the same plants in different conditions can bring the same results for different people. I grow my clarinervium in plastic pot in leca and it's doing great. It had a period of adjustment when it grew weird leaves but now it's doing great. I even propagated it and I have a baby clari growing with its mama in the same pot.
I'm in place of my plant adventure where I think the next season will be exactly what you're experiencing now - curating a more conscious collection but with a jungle vibe inducing staples that may be simple but are staples for a reason (I'm talking scindapsus and pothos).
And my most recent crush are platycerium - I'm even attempting to grow platycerium ridleyi from spores and a few have already germinated. I have a small collection of mounted staghorns and they fascinate me as much as rhipsalis which is my second plant crush. And miniature orchids (like lepanthes calodictyon) - terrariums with mini plants are my new obsession.
Thank you for yet another calming and soothing video - you are a staple of my relaxing time online 🥰

Thank you so much Iza! I'm so glad to hear your Clarinervium is thriving, I've heard people have a lot of success growing Anthurium in Leca and Pon. I might give it a try sometime. Your plant crushes are awesome, it sounds like you're in a really good place on plant journey adventure. 🙌🤗

I went a little crazy at first and bought every variety of succulent I could find. I've had to learn that they are not all treated the same, have much different requirements, there are some I still can't figure out, have killed a few by doing exactly what the books say to do, etc. You're right, there are just some plants that don't "fit" each of us. I'm doing well with lithops, many different hawarthia, pleiospilos, aloinopsis, but kill every titanopsis. Such a learning curve! I'd love to see more about your succulents.

Hi Christine! I share your love of aroids but have much less space so curating is key. I recently bought an Alocasia Silver Dragon which is a tiny three leafed plant. I chose it to practice with as the bigger specimens are so pricey. I’m also lusting after a Philodendron Pink Princess, but will wait for the warmer weather as they are even pricier here. I’m creating a girl cave for an ageing hen and plants, crystals and books are my vibe! M looking for interesting ways to display plants and crystals always x

Friendly suggestion: please don't call them totems, which is an inappropriate reference. They are moss or coco coir poles. Totems are sacred to Native Americans and 1st Nations.

i love watching your videos but god some of the words you use to describe things makes me feel so weird, you call roots white and plumpy and call your micans leaves "delicious"
