This is still my favourite live band ensemble EVER! This is truly music from the Gods. I stumbled on Koinonia as a 21 year old in 1985 and never looked back. This is not any kind of music - this is truly inspired by the influence of the Holy Spirit. Still as fresh snd captivating today as it was back then. Abe Laboriel. Hadley Hockensmith. Justo Almario. Alex Acuna. Bill Maxwell. Harlan Rogers. Masters of their craft. Forever music.

"On my way home" Another beautiful Hadley solo: melodic, without fireworks but perfectly constructed and technically impeccable. A pretty underrated guitarist
These guys are amazing! It is obvious these gentleman are anointed, highly skilled and have and infectious joy for playing. And with Bill Maxwell and my bass hero Abraham Laboriel anchoring the rythmn section they are ahead of their time. My favorite live band of all time!!!
From 30:02 to 41:04 is why i came looking for this. I recorded this concert off BET(when BET was good)back in the mid 90s. I havent seen this in years,so happy i found this. I wish i knew what that song is called though
This is what musicians have lost today, worrying about making music an art. Especially when it comes to instrumental Christian music... Nowadays people only care about bombastic performances full of notes... and likes on social media...

That guitar solo from 23'-20" up to 26'-00" is some the most expressive playing I've ever heard in my life!
