  • Today, we put Soft 99 Fusso Coat Speed And Barrier Detail Spray through the Apex Detail Review Process! Fusso Coat Speed and Barrier is a very easy to use quick detailer that is based on the same ingredients as the products from Fusso Coat family. This product will protect your car paint by creating a very hydrophobic, colour tinting layer, durable for up to 6 months!
    Simply spray and wipe to freshen up your vehicle’s bodywork, removing light dust and dirt while applying a highly durable Fusso coating, cleaning and coating in one step! The wax coating is reinforced with fluoropolymers to enhance and extend hydrophobicity for up to 180 days. Perfect for maintaining Fusso Coat.
    Before applying to a dirty vehicle, be sure to wash and dry it to avoid scratches. In cases of serious staining, use specialized cleaners. Contents will treat 5 mid-size vehicles.

    Im really impressed with the beading and its durability considering that it is meant as a topper for fusso coat. Using this as a standalone would actually give you that enough protection until the next wash.

    Sonax BSD is the perfect topper for Fusso Coat. Dilute it 50/50, extended Fusso to 18 months on my daily driver. Car had next to no contamination after careful maintenance regime which includes using BSD diluted as a drying aid. Minimum marring as well. I live in the North of England and car does 12K miles/year. Lives outside.

      I love the durability of BSD but I dislike the sticky tacky feel. It's like my car has Velcro after I use it, haha

    • @JWL-UK
      @JWL-UK 4 роки тому

      @@Zwikster I know what you mean which is why I dilute it using Megs Last Touch. It gives more gloss and makes the paint a lot slicker. And because I use the dilution as my drying ais or rinseless wash, I sometimes follow up with a SiO2 detailer and get the best of both worlds.

    Decent beading? I’d say the beading was very good, initially. Broke down fairly quickly, but seems it would be a great topper to rejuvenate fusso. Thanks for the video.

    You need a "Join" button which would allow us to show our appreciation for all you add to our love of detailing which enriches our satisfaction in what we do. All because of you. Keep it up Marine. You are simply irreplaceable! Period. Thank you for the info on the Shine Mate. Now that I am 65 I am looking for only single stage or polishing and enhancement projects. So I want a DA with the quietest and lowest level of vibration. The Shine Mate has peaked my interest. Thanks

    I use this on my company's vans to "top up" fusso coat, mainly cause I like the brand. Not the greatest gloss or beading, but it works good with our commercial vehicles. I would love if soft99 made a "spray on, rinse off" fusso topper like gyeon wet coat.
    I think soft99 struggles to make a better product than fusso coat.

    I do like speed and barrier from a beading point of view, and rejuvenating the fusso, but it doesn't offer any gloss :( The down side is that you still need to top the fusso with S&B then top that with Soft 99 luxury Gloss.
    I'll top Fusso with Sonax BSD to rejuvenate it and gloss it in one step, this offers me 3-4 months of protection.

    Hey Brian! Nice review. Question on top coats such as exov4. Would you reapply yearly if maintained above csl? Thanks!

      It depends. look back at his ceramic coating maintenance videos. Usually you’d use the spray ceramic stuff from gtech as a maintenance when u wash

      Hot Pepper depends on a few factors.. but having C2V3 is important to add to your arsenal for maintenance.

    Hi Brian I was wondering if you could do some real world waxing or detailing or even ceramic coating of cars. A lot of people if their cars are in good shape like mine it doesn’t have a lot of scratchers or swirl marks hurry I really don’t have time to rub or buff out my car every time I want to put a coat of wax on it. I’ll wash it very thoroughly and dry it then I’ll pull it into the garage and apply a coat of wax. I really would like to see a durability test on a well-known product was only that level of prep. People come to the detail shop like yours to have that stuff done they don’t do it on their own 90% of the time they just wash and wax. And I am betting that people will tell you different to your face. I would say honestly I give my car a thorough correction once every two years or once a year.
