The subtle humor and infectious laughter is what makes this channel so great. LMAO
Thanks. I laugh at myself and have fun doing it.
Telling you , this guy makes me want to detail all day, love watching his enthusiasm 😁
That meguiars is visually heads and tails above the others - wow it beads instantly.
You know it's a good day when Jeremy uploads a new vid. You're the man!
Hahaha. Thanks buddy. I appreciate it
Thanks for trying DIY Detail Quick Beads. Can’t go wrong with any of these. Keep up the great work and laughter.
Thanks for watching. Keep making good stuff.
Used to use Gyeon Wetcoat but now I love using Meguiar’s HCW. Use it neat as a base as per instructions, and then dilute it down to use as a drying aid and it’s much more economical.
Use the green bottle for a drying aid
Glad you're back! I love your detail videos man learn alot
Thanks
Just the vídeo what i need, thanks from Uruguay 💪🏻 one of my detailing favorite channels, great work and dedication 💪🏻
Thanks for watching all the way from Uruguay. I appreciate it.
I'm a huge Gyeon fan. Especially if you get WetCoat Essense, it'll drop the price down to $4.50 for 500ml
Your videos always bring a smile. The laugh is contagious. Happy to have you posting again!
Thanks. I appreciate it.
Love your videos and your vibe dude, cheers from Costa Rica!
Thanks. Yeah. Costa Rica.
I have the Meguiar's Hybrid Cermaic Wax and Gyeon Wet Coat Essense (it's way cheaper to mix yourself than the ready to use) in my shop and I often lean toward the Wet Coat. I live in Eastern Canada and even in the Winter, Wet Coat lasts several months on my personal and clients' vehicles. That's with road salts, snow, etc all being present. I've integrated a lot more Gyeon products into my arsenal and they're all very good quality.
Thanks for sharing your real world experience with everyone.
I’ve been using Gyeon Wetcoat for the past couple months every few washes, and I’ve been pretty impressed with it!
Thanks for watching the channel
Love your videos, awesome 👍!
Thanks for sharing.
Thanks a lot.
These are all great products and all work. I remember listening to a webinar at Meguiars and the first time they used the product the door they sprayed the product on was flat but the backseat door was beading like crazy. I applied quick beads to the family truckster five months ago and while the water beads are oblong the protection and gloss are still there. Yes the family truckster is outside 24/7. Thank you for the video.
Thanks for the real world feedback. Thanks for watching
I have used both diy's quick beads and gyeon wet coat and I love them both.
Thanks for sharing
Couldn't agree with you more, Two Thumbs Up for products made in the good USA!!
Yes
I requested a review on gyeon wet coat a few weeks ago and you delivered! Your awesome, thanks!
There you go. Thanks for watching
Bro, I've missed you!!!
Thanks for the review!
Thanks a lot.
Ivan , DIY stuff coming in strong. The newer sealant products are definitely better than a couple years ago ! Cerakote spray sealant I would you to test. Thanks for the video Aloha n Mahalo !
Big fan of CarPro Hydro2. Amazing durability and beading
Great video! I enjoy the Meguiars but using the bead booster from their pro line as the base layer. Some other great spray rinse to try is Carpro Hydro O2, turtle wax spray n rinse hybrid line, and Sonax Spray n Seal. Just started playing with the DIY line up so I’m learning to love the Quick Beads especially since it repels water spots better than the other.
Thanks for sharing
I come to your channel just to hear your fabulous delivery. You could pitch anyone's product. May I ask what you did before detailing?
I used the Meguiars hybrid spray wax for the first time a little bit ago, can’t complain for how easy and cheap it was
Yes. Good value for what it is.
I just used some of that Suds Lab CH Ceramic Hydro-Coat. Spray on while car is wet, rinse off. Im really impressed with it.
Thanks for sharing
thank you for the video! I used the Meguires Hybrid Cermaic Wax. Little bit more work but it keeps my car very clean in New England. Makes maintenance wash so easy. Gyeon Wet Coat looks good. Gotta give it try
Yeah. Thanks for sharing
I don’t have any experience with any of these products and I have no brand loyalty to them. That being said from what I see and observed I have to agree with you on your rationale for rating the products as you did. If you have to manually work in the Meguiar’s product then it sort of defeats one of the reasons for using such a product. I thought the DIY product demonstrated a bit more sheeting of water than the Gyeon product. So I agree with your rating. Good information! Thanks!
Thanks for watching and sharing
Great review Jeremy enjoyed the video as always 😊
Thanks a lot
Wet coat is great. Im using it as a topper on my Tundra’s ceramic coating
It’s a good one. I try not to bring anything in for review that I don’t believe I will like. It happens some times but I don’t do it on purpose.
Glad to see you bringing the longer videos back! You make some of the best detailing videos around. Would love to see a review on Koch Chemie FSE.
Thank you. I appreciate it. I will check it out.
Nice review. I haven’t tried the DIY stuff yet but it looks decent. The others I have used and they work just like you showed us. I have one suggestion, would you mind cheering up a bit 😂😂. Thanks 👍✌️☮️
Hahahaha. Thanks.
I’ve use the Meguires with and without that first step application and it beads that water off all the same.
I’m a big fan of these products. I Used the Adam’s Graphene Detailing Spray last week as a drying aid - it rained the very next day, and the water was beading/repelling well for 2days.
I don’t have a garage, so this car was out in the Sun/no shade for 5 days. Two of those it rained. There’s like 30% “protection” left after 7days but hey.
Simple wash, no polish, the product lasted about 5days. VERY interested in that DIY Detail Spray - looks potent ❤
Thanks for sharing your resuts
I was using Meguires at first, but the length of durability left something to be desired. In my experience, if it wasn't consistently used every wash, it wore off easily. I switched to Griot's Garage and it has lasted much longer. Honestly, this isn't to crap on Meguires, it's a really good product, it's just higher maintenance.
That was my concern also. Good but for how long??
McG blue bottle seems about 3 weeks . The green bottle spray detailer stuff seems better .. kinda confusing..got me some 303 GRAPHENE DETAILER fixin to rock this weekend ! GRAPHENE and CERAMIC can top each other apparently ?? Nuts
Have quick beads and wet coat. But damn that meguires looks good 👀
Yeah it did sheet well.
I use Meguiar hcw. Regular pressure wash on weekly without reapplying. Last about 4 weeks.
I'm using Bilt Hamber Touch-on 30ml sachets in my snowfoam cannon after I've washed the car. I use it exactly like Gyeon wet coat, snowfoam on and rinse off, 3 months of slick to touch and slightly more wet repellent then Wet coat and more durable. So easy to apply. Love the videos. Shame we can't get DIY here in the UK to try out
Thanks for sharing your results. I appreciate you following the channel from the UK.
How was the gloss enhancement with these?
I've used this Meguire's on my fiance's vehicle and each time it lasts a little longer but the one thing I have not been able to stop from happening is it streaks on the plastic panels. I have not however rinsed from the bottom up so maybe that's my problem so will do that next time for sure. Thanks for the tip and this video.
Yes make sure to thoroughly rinse off these type of products after spraying them on. That should help. Thanks for watching
i used meguiars hybrid spray wax for the first time a few weeks ago on my black truck. i over applied it and had some pretty bad streaking. for my first time ever, i actually wasn't a fan of a meguiars product. most of the stuff i have used by them have been great for being able to pick it up from just about anywhere. i still love the brand and recommend it to anyone that just wants to do their personal car.
Thanks for watching and sharing your thoughts
@@darylcooper5481 no i used it again the next day and applied it correctly and still wasn’t a fan. just didn’t work as well as other products i use. i just didn’t add that in the last comment
What program do you use to make intro videos for UA-cam? And the affects?
I like your paradigm of supporting American companies, especially small, innovative companies. I also pay attention to where something is manufactured and where the company's headquarters are when making buying decision, and I favor American companies.
Yeah. I agree. Thanks.
what happens when it rains and dry on its own ?
in my experience, meguiars leaves tons of brown rain drops marks...
what's the point of beading ? looking cool in a video when you rinse?
I’ve use the wet coat in my detailing business for a little over a year. I found it has a problem with streaking, and occasionally staining the dark grey trim on some vehicles.. I haven’t tried the diy yet, but would like too. And the meguiars I’ve seen everywhere but never tried, the gloss on that one was incredible and it sheets and beads on par or better than some of the others imo. I’m going to have to go to Walmart and grab a bottle and report back. I live in bc Canada so we get a ton of rain, especially this time of year.
Great. Let me know how it goes.
I just started using quick beads this spring and love the results. Biggest thing is not to over apply. Less is more with this product which also makes it very economical.
Yes for sure. Thanks
Wonderful video, Jeremy! lol I must say, my all-time favorite is Gyeon WetCoat. Regrettably, I am unable to obtain diy products in the EU, where I currently reside 😏.
DIY Detail is on the way!
Thanks for watching. I appreciate it
Ive been on Diy Details products for awhile now, I actually started my Detailing venture with them and have most of there line. I received them before xmas and was itching to use it so I quick beaded my shower surround and its still goin since Dec 15th till now but I think they say its 3 months plus protection!!
Thanks for sharing
The intro for this video definitely made me watch the entire thing
Thanks for watching. I appreciate it.
I always look forward to seeing. What super hero shirt you are wearing 😅
Hahahaa. Today Superman.
Hi Mr Hawaii. I’ve heard you’ve experiment with an absolute/beadmaker combo. Could you perhaps make a video/short or share your preferred dilutions for it.
www.hawaiidetailing.com/dillution check my site out. here is the video ua-cam.com/video/RTo4s-N2v6Q/v-deo.html
I like wet coat I occasionally spread it around with a Pearl applicator if it’s windy outside
Looking to try car pro hydro2 next when I’m through my Gyeon as it seems like awesome value basically the same price as wetcoat but 100ml you dilute 8-1 so you nearly get twice as mush.
Thanks for sharing
Gyeon wet coat has self cleaning which puts it first for me. If you lightly spray water onto those panels a week or two later before you foam or clean them, Gyoen's would still be beading, great for when it rains, the others don't, they need to be cleaned first. Still, all 3 products are great.
Thanks for sharing
You should include the Griots Ceramic wax in here. Had it on my car 6 months with no touch ups, still going strong
I swear the random cackle and evil laugh cracks me up. heh
Hahaha. Thanks
Next up carpro 😂 Jeremy you make me laugh all the time 🤣 😆 such a funny, awesome guy
Thank You for watching
I'm partial to DIY Quick Beads for paint and Gyeon Wet Coat for wheels.
Good combo.
Pretty cool, but i will always stick with my hydroshine or poly magic polymer protective coating. Im big on quality over easy and convenient. 🤙 Liking the Chanel dude.
Thanks a lot.
Meguiar's hybrid ceramic wax, topped & maintained with Meguiar's M799 pro hybrid ceramic bead booster 😍😍. M799 undiluted for durability, shine, slickness. I adore!
Thanks for sharing. Sounds slick.
My local grocery store has Meguiars for 15 dollars, a good price and great on wheels Quick Beads is expensive by the gallon and okay small bottle but must rinse completely or else it will streak.
Thanks for sharing your results.
Man if you didn’t slam the results I’d be sad , sooo funny you are . Keep doing it as your videos are the best and the slammmms are the best
I could not slam at the end of my latest video. Was a bust. hahahaha thanks
Please review Koch chemie protector wax. Applied using a foam Cannon nothing easier also you see the foam apply itself and start beading off very cool
Will give it a look.
That Meguiars gonna last you 3-4 months so its the clear winner for me. The other 2 gonna last you about a month. Yea you get the convenience of it by spraying it off but it don't last. Its basicially a topper and the Meguiars is your base coat
Thanks for the input.
cool wonder if there was a difference in gloss or were they all the same
All real similar.
I finally recognized you again with the super hero shirt on...No more clone Jeremy
Hahahah. Yeah it’s me.
Suds Lab ceramic hydro coating
Hi, you mentioned Gyeon fell short on those items at the end of your video. What do you mean?
Made in USA, small company with good intentions. When all things are equal I like to spend my money with the people and at the places that I like. Thanks for watching
Similar to others in the comments the meguiars faded for me over time. The Gyeon last longer and on replication was right back.
Yeah. Thanks.
Have you done a review on griots poly gloss?
Not yet.
Nice, does the DYI work for wheels too?
Yes it does!
@@HawaiiDetailing thanks for your response. Only a few people responded now a days. Ttylr ✌🏻
Jeremy ,YOU try the Koch chemie protector wax ?
Not yet. Will have to have a look.
Do you use p&s bead maker as a drying aid? If not then what do you use as a drying aid?
Here are my Favs. www.hawaiidetailing.com/paintprotection
@@HawaiiDetailing Thank you 🙏
where do you buy the wheel platform for the bucket? thanks
Here is a link www.hawaiidetailing.com/washbuckets
@@HawaiiDetailing thank you!
After the first initial application just spray and rinse with the Meguiars. Sheets better then anything else out there. Just my 2 cents
Yes it was sheeting like crazy.
LOL...my niece worked for Turtle wax a few years ago...Marketing is what they do best!😖
Hahaha. Yeah. As a consumer you gotta be careful out there. Thanks for watching
Tbh… Detailers don’t want to admit how good Meguiars products are. You can buy them in most most box stores, which for some reason professionals frown upon. Meguiars was years ahead of everyone with the ceramic spray wax. It still out performs a lot of the competition.
Accessible, great results, easy to use. How could you go wrong?!
Please make an update video so we can know how well they held up!
Will do. Thanks for watching
Final thoughts. The weird artificial laughter is unnecessary and silly 😜
I love you video.
Thanks.
Jeremy I prefer Mckees37 Hydro Blue PRO . My expectation is that it will last a month or 2 , not 2 weeks. I think you used too much product on the panels. 2 quick sprays per panel is more than enough. You were laying it on . Lastly , although a common misspelling, it’s “Meguiars”.
Thanks man. i appreciate it
Baaaaaaam lol😂 great vid !
Just started getting into detailing with purchase of Bronco. Using DIY Details produces and they are great. Also they respond very quickly with any questions via UA-cam or email.
Great to hear!
What is your favorite drying aid?
Mine is Pro Wax Synergy Ceramic Detailer, you won't be disappointed. And it cost only $30 per gallon.
@@hartlanddetailer5670 right now I'm currently using Wolfgang's SIO2 And it costs 25 for basically 5 gallons. I just like trying out new products because the holy grail could still be out there
What's your recommendation for the best wax?
I really don't use wax anymore. I am a fan and user of new style spray protections. Here are my favorites. www.hawaiidetailing.com/paintprotection
@@HawaiiDetailing okay thank you!
Harber Freight has Maguires under $20.
Did not like the Megs at all. Left smears so tried a different technique, still not great. It is now left on the shelf. I noticed the liquid has formed small beads inside after a winter in the garage.
Thanks for the real world data. Thanks for watching
Bro, you look like Tony Hawk :D
Hahaha
Unfortunately diy detail isn't available in the 808, so gyeon (available at irep auto detail in Kaneohe) wins this one for me
Yeah. I like Irep. Good store
Meguiars hybrid spray wax looked better then the reset
It was sheeting well for sure.
It did but it will be the worst of the three once the car gets dirty.
Wet Coat will last at least 3-4 months if maintained well enough.
Thanks for sharing
Man your good, but gotta change the voice tone every now and then
My car looks phenomenal from buying so many products. Especially when I sleep in it at night going homeless.
Hahahahaa. That’s the problem for sure.
👍🏻🇺🇸🇺🇸
Yeah. When I can, I do. Thanks for watching
BUT which is the best?
I picked my winner in the video. Its up to you.
You were so disappointed with Meguiar's, you spelled their name wrong. 😅😂
Hahahaha. My mistake.
Seal and Shine cheaper than all 3 of those and I’m certain it last longer 👍
I really like using Gyeon Wetcoat. Haven’t tried Quick Beads yet but it’s in the cart
I like it. Definitely fun to play with. Thanks for watching
Meguires lasts 6 months
What's with the random cackles 😂😂
Laughing at myself. Hahaha
First
Yeah buddy. There he is.
wrong. it is already proven that thick shaving cream foam that sticks n doesn't gravitate to the ground is inferior to a more runny foam that encapsulates and carries dirt away. this is much more effective at cleaning. is dense foam that just clings cool? yes, is it a better method? absolutely not. that's why detailers need to listen to professionals not "weekend warriors" who push whatever is trending at the moment.
Always support the underdog when they make a good product, but once they go the margins and corpo b.s. dont support them as this is when they start diluting there products down to get your money
Yeah. You have to always size things up. Thanks for watching.
