Perfect timing, have just bitten the bullet and bought fusso + speed & barrier. For anyone interested in the UK, Euro Car Parts have the S&B on sale for £11!
Me too, got a recon Karcher, to replace one that has lost power, only to hook that up and there is literally no pressure, ruined what was going to be a full chemical decin day. The laugh was needed.
@@decker0373 I'm really shocked that the coating must have bonded because there were a thousand tiny beads all over the car and I was able to blow them off with my air blower. I did put a coating of Gyeon Cure on after about two hours, so maybe that helped.
@@michaelgoodwin593 Tough to say anything about the durability, started using it in the spring and it's very dry in my country. Hopefully rain will start soon so I can see how durable it is, still have not figured out if it has any UV protection, as far as I could find out BSD also didn't have any UV protection.
@@jusb1066 really, not even the liquid sealants ? Think most still advertise as having uv protection, I think my tyre serum still says it on the bottle.
Due to bad advertising here in Norway allot of soft99 products aint avalible or heard of over here. I Found one online store that had the two products i wanted (speed & barrier and luxury gloss) thanks for showing these products off🙂
Actually got all spray products from Soft9.. Best is fukupika. This is not only a waterless wash This is a complete spray wax with ease of use and built-in cleaning capability. It last. It looks awesome. It is easy to work. Luxury gloss is also not a QD. It has a warm look caranauba gives. It is good for fusso. Fukupika is one of not many products I did bought again even if it was not needed as I have 30+ QDs already.
I’ve never had a good experience with speed and barrier either topping up fusso or used independently. It was somewhat hydrophobic but doesn’t have good durability at all, especially used alone. Shame as I really like Soft99’s other products.
Yer i was expecting like a ‘spray Fusso’ but somehow it just wasn’t….seems to have little durability and gets affected by washing badly. Easy to apply but not super glossy either hmmmm but Soft99 do some epic products no doubt - the Glaco stuff is awesome
Absolutely appreciated to cover waterless wash, as we go into a hosepipe ban. Soft 99 defo get 10/10 for funky young active colour packaging. Highly recommend going too Japan if you get the chance.
@9:30 you mentioned using speed barrier in order to get rid of any sneering left behind when applying fusso coat, alternatively, could luxury gloss be used?
Love your review and explain how they use in each product, please advise me, I have a Luxury Gloss and Fusso coat and King of Gloss paste wax can they apply on the headlight or they can only apply for body parts only ?? Thank you.
@@ForensicDetailing Not the only old headlight but also including for a new headlight ?? Thank you. PS. My English isn't so great, sorry to cause you confused.
On some paints I get weird irregular marks, i have tried thinner and thinner layer but still get like silicone wipe mark as grom where i start to put the product on, talking about the wax. It ruins the finish on polished car. But not with every paint.
It's great to see you using such products. I've seen them on the shelf but have never been brave enough to try, I'm terrified of leaving a scratchy surface, if you use it it must be safe
what did you think about the luxury gloss, worth it? I was thinking in use the fuse coat and wipe off with a spray of luxury gloss and a microfiber towel, have you tried it?
Bit late to the party with a question about Fukupika. I purchased a few bottles and really like the product, but I’m confused about what it actually is! Is it a sealant type product to be used every 3-6 months? Or is it a quick Detailer that can be used weekly?
You mean an extractor? You can just use a diluted APC. I run hot water only in the extractor. Apply your cleaner in a separate spray bottle and agitate. Then follow with the extractor until the water extracts clean and clear. It’s a much more controlled and efficient use of product. I only extract when I absolutely have to, on extremely soiled fabrics or strong odors. Usually just cleaner, brush and a little steam if needed followed by a vacuum does the job without introducing excessive moisture to foam cushions and fabrics.
Can you tell me what products you used when you was using the speed and barrier on the bmw , as the bmw had a wet look high shine , I’ve got the same shade of gray on my 595 and would like the wet look high gloss that the bmw has thanks
Great video again Jon, thank you. Have you ever used poorboys wheel wax/sealant ? I bought some to try after I had my wheels refurbished. What a useless product, complete waste of money.
You say "Jon, don't do humour" quite often. Very much incorrect as this video shows. The switch with the eyebrows was as unexpected as it was hilarious. Then the advert reference "Bazooka that varooka..... Don't do that, put it on your car". I was still recovering from the eybrows. Great video, interesting products too. I really want to try their glass sealant, roll on thing. Great video!
Why oh why don't manufacturers concentrate on making products that can be used in the sun. More and more people these days consider themselves fortunate if they have access to a hose let alone a garage so they can wash their car outside the house in the street. I just tried 99 for the first time on my black car and to be honest not at all impressed with it. It leaves white bits in hard to access recesses and in the sun my paint looks like it's full of swirls. Yes I used it as sparingly as possible, followed the blurb on the can. I'm not saying it's rubbish, obviously millions of you out there love it, it's just not for me I'm afraid. Good vid tho👍
I use the soft99 water block super spash wax. It's amazing, the hydrophobicity is next level. Highly recommended. Just don't apply too much wax and make sure to fully remove it. I have a white car so it can be really hard to see if there is excess wax.
Just a tip I use on lighter cars, just a cheap torch from a couple of feet, that often helps to see the difference in the panel surface so easier to spot any missed bits. Fusso wax is next on my wanted list! Thx for the tips.
Jon, please never change.
Thanks for never forgetting to actually make your informative videos very entertaining as well. You're a damn treasure.
