Even with Collinite sort of failing the durability test, it ended up sheeting more water off the panel. This would actually make drying easier & you’ll have fewer risk of water spots.
Do Fusso vs everything :) One thing though: the gloss meter only measures gloss, not depth. My experience with fusso was that it makes my solid back paint dull. Not to mention it suffers from ghosting. So in your future comparisons you would also do a visual inspection regarding the black being rich. Also look at it with indirect light (light pointing to a wall) to see the ghosting from fusso.
I must be missing something. Both product appear to be shedding water well; in fact, I like the way Collinite appears to have shed the water more than Fusso section. When freezing the video at 17:27 there appears to be less water on surface in the Collinite section. I can see that the heated portion of the Collinite section has been affected more negatively than the Fusso section.
I absolutely love Fuso Soft 99 !! and You even put on thinner than i do loll! as expected, not the glossiest maybe but hydro properties and long lasting Teflon coat is in a league of its own!! Thank-You Brian for this nice surprise today!! :-)
Excellent vid. Thanks for posting. Lets see... Fuso coat vs Enigma vs Seal n shine. Or maybe Fuso coat 12 month vs Fuso coat mirror shine. See if any difference in lasting power and gloss. Thanks again.
Also I hear you 100% on the chemicals affecting sense of smell. I'm on a real binge lately of trying not to use sprays, which is counter intuitive with all the new spray sealant products but I just can't stand stuff getting into my eyes and my nose anymore. I bought some squeeze bottles instead for dressings to try but I do love that about paste waxes that I don't have that spray issue, wipe on wipe off.
Thanks for this comparison. I’ve been curious about Soft99 Fusso Coat. Would love to see it vs. Turtle Wax Ice Seal n Shine AND Turtle Wax Ice Spray Wax. 👍🏽
Awesome comparison B... With all the Spray Sealants and Si02's in the forefront these days you were really thinking outside the box to put out a video comparing these two. Keep 'em coming! 👍
I wouldn’t mind seeing some more tried and true reload battles. Also love to see you use/review Opticoat No-rinse (yellow), and their hyper seal. *please*. Love the channel. You’ve been crankin out lots of great content! I always rewatch your videos first when I try new products.
Fusso Coat #1! I've owned both dark and light versions for the past 4 years and absolutey love it. The 12 month claim is spot on with cars that sits outside 100% of the time. I'm confident enough to say that it's the next best thing to ceramic coating.
illestFlavor that is a strong claim. Do you prefer a product that last long but I you will only apply it once cause it’s a bit more work? Or a product that doesn’t last as long but you apply more often because it is easy to use?
@@LoveLikeaHurricane Love Like a Hurricane I prefer a product that lasts a long time. I do not wash the family cars very often so longevity is a big positive for me. They get washed maybe once or twice a year depending on how dirty they get from being outside. I just like knowing within that 1 year span of it the initial rinse will wash off most with just a garden hose and a good nozzle making it easier to clean any left over debris so you're not scrubbing away hating life. Haha I live in Vancouver, Canada and we get all types of weather throughout the year. Prep for me is just the basic wash, claybar, and 1 step polish. As long as your paint isn't faded and do a quick polish it'll last. Depends on how often you wash your car really. I'd recommend a strong base layer of wax/sealant/coating then top it with something to make it last even longer so it's easier to wash for the next time.
@@abelferatovic3906 What do you mean by top coat? Like a quick wax/detailer? Of course! My recent go to's are Meguiars Quik wax, Hybrid Ceramic wax, Synthetic X-press Spray Wax but recently been trying Turtle Wax Ice Seal and shine with it and I've been liking it so far. Make sure you top it with something that has the same characteristics as Fusso with the shine, slickness, and beading effects as other products may hide/mask those amazing qualities that it has.
Sorry I should have asked the question better. I look at Fusso as a sealant instead of a wax. Can you add something like a wax on top of the fusso coating for more of a gloss and obviously the durability is there. Just thinking outside the box here.. thanks!!!!
I would use 915 in the summer months but Fusso or Collinite 476s for the winter due to its resilience to the road salt. I live in Missouri and they put down a TON of salt this winter (2018-2019) with all the ice and snow we got. I put 476s on my wife's car and it was still hanging on into the Spring. I used 915 and it started to lose its durability along the side panels where the road spray sat. The rest of the car looked great and was still beading with a deep glow that is hard to describe on a silver paint. It should be noted that I could not wash my car like I wanted due to the freezing temperatures hovering around 20 degrees or lower. I put the 476s on my mom's car, who lives in Iowa, and it was also hanging onto the side panels into the Spring. Obviously prepping your car before putting on any wax is the most important step, especially when you know you cannot wash your car for weeks or a month between warm days. Once I get done with the cans of Collinite I will probably switch to Fusso.
Interesting result. I use and love 915 for its gloss, didn't find it breaking down quite this easily. I echo that 476 might have been a better choice for chemical resisting, I have a tin of that and may do it as an initial layer with a layer of 915 ontop in future.
So the interesting thing you can top Fusso Coat , you gotta wait till it fully cures but I’m gonna go on a limb and say decon , wash , clay light polish and Fusso Coat with Seal and Shine on top and I’d say 18mo solid good looking finish.

Fusso looks like a terrific product. I see a lot of questions comparing TW Seal & Shine which itself is a terrific product. However as good as it is - it is a spray... How would Fusso paste hold up or compare against ICE paste which seems to be a forgotten step-child. I find the ICE paste to be a really superior synthetic with its high gloss and durability. Any thoughts or actual comparisons out there? Have not used Collinite either - hard to beat the depth of shine with Carnuba wax. All depends on what one is looking to accomplish...

Laid down a layer of Fusso Coat on my daily driver last September and I've been maintaining it using BSD as my drying aid/sacrificial layer. 9 months/9,000 miles later and the paintwork is still looking like glass. Fusso and BSD make up a great combo! Greetings from 🇬🇧
Collinite 915 all day. It's a wax. I use waxes for ultimate appearance enhancement. I am not looking for lots of durability or resilience against chemicals my paint will never encounter. When I want those things, I simply use a good sealant. Finish Kare 1000P, Rejex, Jescar Powerlock, etc.
Agree 100% with your post. I use Jescar with Colinite 845 in October before our Chicago winters. The Colonite 915 is a big favorite in Spring and Summer. My customers want their cars looking their best and nobody does it better than Colonite 915
You got the old 915 tin. I like the new tin. Normal size like the other companies. Wider at least. Love 915!!! Wonder if you could top fusso with 915 lol. I never tried.
I agree with most comments. I have a dark car and I want the deepest highest gloss. Collinite blows Fuso away. The car never sees rain or harsh chemicals. More sheeting is key. Hands down it’s the real winner here

tbh this is so far the best test/review of fusso vs something else. ive seen some elitist people just take the piss and whine about the smell, dust, etc etc. but this shows good's and bad's on the product. personally i have no issue applying the fusso 4 times a year as we got harsh environment with lots of salt and rain. so this showed me that i actually bough a reasonable good product so that i don't have as much of a hassle washing my car. i do get the shine standpoint and such, but for a daily i like the apply it and leave it thing you get with the fusso.

Thanks Ryan. I just ordered the 915. I have a customer’s 22 year old orange Porsche scheduled in April, 2023. Last year, he had another detailer install ceramic. Not happy with ceramic and said he wanted to go with carnuba for deep rich gloss. I’m going to suggest 520 for maintenance.

As expected Brian, another excellent video! Quick question, do you wash your microfiber towels together. I mean, after preparing this panel, do you wash these microfibers separate from the microfibers you use to wipe off an LSP or microfibers you use during a rinseless wash?
Great vid man. I like strong products but don’t go for them because they are so hard to remove when you want to remove it. I’ll rather strip and reapply every 90 days
Depends on what you're going for. I would use 915 any day over fusso on a showroom car. 4 to 5 percentage points increase in gloss is pretty impressive if you ask me. But on a daily driver is a different story.
Hey Brian I have a titanium Frost Metalic and a pewter color vehicle what you recommend on the fusso the light or the dark one ty in advance great video
Great video sir. If iI may ask your expert advise, using a a paste wax, with the body being corrected it, are you afraid of cross contamination from paint back to paste back to paint? I saw the DPC video where he explained that part.
Plz show turtle wax S&S vs power lock vs fusso vs carpro lite. Would be a great comparison. Carpro lite is necessary if you dont have it but would be cool because I want to know the actual durability of it. I've just put it on my first car and I think all these would be very comparable
Hello Brian, I'm torn between which of these two waxes to get to wax/protect My black accord for its next main layer of protection?? Both seem very comparable, and I know its personal choice, but what would you go with?
Dear sir , i was wondering.... In all your fantastik tests will the gloss meter to many many videos.....do you remember witch product gave you the highest glosss increase when you applied it? Thanks
Great vid! Would love to see Fusso go up against TX ceramic and graphine wax now. Alot of ppl make out as if that TW Ceramic/graphene wax is the best wax available now. Anyone got experience with tw vs fusso?
How did you know ive been thinking about trying fusso? I have 915 on a black corvette, looks good but attracts a lot of dust. I may try layering fusso on top of powerlock on my impala to see if it helps bring a little gloss while still keeping the hydrophobic properties of fusso.
The tenatious protection of Fusso....or the high gloss of Collinite!! Which do you prefer?

Cant quit the turtle wax seal and shine! Price to performance is unmatched. Fk1000 is a worthy paste performer along with 476s
Fusso for the win ✊Very impressed with the product. Thanks this was very informative 👍🏻
Depends on what you're going for. I would use 915 any day over fusso on a showroom car. 4 to 5 percentage points increase in gloss is pretty impressive if you ask me. But on a daily driver is a different story.
Please test fuso99 against nu finish - both claim 12 month protection
Isnt* necessary..oops
Would recommend fusso coat over Meguiar's Ultimate Paste Wax? I am looking for a nice base Wax and top it with Seal n' Shine
So please please please, give us a shot for a turtle wax ice seal n shine topped with a beadmaker and compare it to anything you can!!!
Hello Brian, I'm torn between which of these two waxes to get to wax/protect
My black accord for its next main layer of protection??
Both seem very comparable, and I know its personal choice, but what would you go with?
Collinite 915 is the best looking wax, but the best attractive dust too 😅
Fusso Coat vs T.W Seal n Shine, I would like to see which one win the chemical resistant test.
Keep the TW Seal N Shine video reviews rolling, till something beats it. (Collinite 915 vs Fusso Coat Soft99 vs TW Seal N Shine)
Fusso v everything!
Would love to see it against polymer net shield
What about double coat ? That would be great battle against fusso 👍
Dear sir , i was wondering.... In all your fantastik tests will the gloss meter to many many videos.....do you remember witch product gave you the highest glosss increase when you applied it? Thanks
marios kosmidhs that went to Polish Angel High Gloss
@@apexdetail85 thanks sir
Turtle Wax Toxic Overexposure Syndrome!😜😁🤪🤣 Love your sense of humor😂 Turtle Wax Seal & Shine vs Fusso Coat Soft 99👍👍
Fusso the clear winning product that shines more than others.
Great vid! Would love to see Fusso go up against TX ceramic and graphine wax now. Alot of ppl make out as if that TW Ceramic/graphene wax is the best wax available now. Anyone got experience with tw vs fusso?
If there was ever a product of the decade it should go to TW Seal N Shine, no toxicity here. :)
How did you know ive been thinking about trying fusso? I have 915 on a black corvette, looks good but attracts a lot of dust. I may try layering fusso on top of powerlock on my impala to see if it helps bring a little gloss while still keeping the hydrophobic properties of fusso.
Stonewall Jackson let me know if that combo plays well together.
Hey Brian, can either of theses be topped with another sealer, like bead maker?
