Its not underrated... We all love it and the crowd loves it. It was not a radio single... but it rocks and it is one of 100 reasons the Foos in general are underrated. I'm one man that loves all music... esp rock n roll. Dave Grohl and this band the Foo Fighters are ridiculously underrated overall.

He lost touch with him and was thinking that if he threw that name into the song title he might be able to get in touch with his old friend. Lol Most folks don't know that after you record, you nearly always in most cases have to go back and learn the song before going out to support the album. The final arraignment may or may not be what the artist remembers or even in some extreme situations, may not be how you had originally conceived the song to be when you wrote it. A record producer or the company itself often may have final say on how an album ultimately will sound. Regardless, The Foo Fighters are very good at what they do, and may well have been among the best of the 90's - 00's!
