- Hi guys today I will be sharing a recipe I stumble accross 2 years ago I got the original recipe from my expert village but I modify the recipe a little bit to suit my cake pan and my desired texture.
For the caramel base
3/4 cup sugar
For the Cheesecake Flan
4 egg whites
8 egg yolks
1 box cream cheese
1 tsp vanilla
1/4 tsp of salt
1/2 cup milk
1 can condensed milk
1 can evaporated milk
1/2 cup sugar ( can be adjusted to your desired sweetness )
This is my go to recipe. It has been for years! So much faster and lighter than making a cheesecake.

If you put everything in a blender is faster. The eggs go together you don't need to separate them. No need the 1/2 C of sugar ehe Condensed milk have enough?

Rather than throw your product that's in the strainer away, you could always blend the last 1/2 cup, that would eliminate any lumps. Thanks for the recipe!

I made this yesterday omg!!! it was delicious.....
I watched the entire video and I'm a bit disappointed. At the beginning I couldn't hear or fully view how you were putting the flan part together. After the cream cheese were did that second bowl of batter come from? I never saw you use the eggs either. I'd really like to attempt this for the holidays, it's such a beautiful creation! Help!!! (get rid of that music or at least turn the volume down). Thank you
Roz Ferguson she used the eggs yolks from the very start of her vid. she had two batter because the first one was a mixture of the egg yolks, milk and sugar and etc and 2nd batter were a mixture of cream cheese, egg whites and salt.

This flan is one of my family's favorite. I use my blender to mix the ingredients and then poor through a fine mesh sieve just in case. Thanks for sharing:)

I have made this plenty of times already and always turns out beautiful silky smooth and really yummy. I just use 1/3 cup sugar for the caramel and 1/4 cup sugar for the cream cheese mix. Thanks for sharing this recipe 😀 Btw, the music doesn't bother me 😊

Bake at 155 degrees Celsius for 1 hr 45 min at the hour mark cover with aluminum foil so it doesn’t burn then open the stove once it’s done baking and turn off the heat and let it sit there for 30 min and then let it cool down at room temp and let it sit in the fridge for at least 3 hours

Not hating the nice lady or her recipe at all, just have ear sensitivity to whistling. Have to turn it down, but can't hear her talk then. Have noticed this whistling trend on many videos, wish they would stop.

It looks like a nice flan we are going to try it this weekend. One comment your music was over powering your voice sometimes. Maybe turn down or turn off the music it is unnecessary. Your step by step process was done very well

+Angelina Kuras i thinks its just the same, when she cooked it on the oven. its just literally like a steamer, because she added warm water to the bain-marrie, she just cooked it in an oven so that the top will have a nice golden brown layer.

Tip for all of you!!! Cut your prep time in half and blend all room temp ingredients in blender .I do this all the time and works amazing

+Mickey Cakes I used room temp ingredients and blended using an electric hand mixer on low so my arm wouldn't fall off from all the spoon mixing. It came out beautiful and taste delicious.

i've never seen such a heavy cheesecake recipe. Way too much sugar. Why 8 egg yolks, a whole can of sweetened condensed milk?!?! And half a cup of sugar when you have sugar from the condensed milk and caramel topping? Just too much to even a small sliver of this cake.
+Leslie Amar it's a hybrid (for lack of better word) of cheesecake and flan. it's not really a cheesecake. It's more like a level up flan.
+Leslie Amar, it is really a Flan but with an addition of Cream Cheese. If you are not familiar with Flan, it uses eggs . Filipino flan has more eggs while Spanish and Mexican use just 3 eggs.
Can't u read? the recipe says the 1/2 cup of sugar is optional and will depend how sweet u want it to be.
