@@NoTengoStandthey gave us a crazy homage to it though. In another universe this could have been Cyber Akuma. I’m banking on it tbh bc there is too much MVC happening here to not inevitably cross over.
@@monolith_g Imagine whenever they do the Onslaught saga we find up Bastion didn't die, instead got teleported to Capcom universe and fused with Akuma, adding a Cyber Akuma to the mix for maximum VS series insanity. In all seriousness, the series is doing so good that I doubt they go beyond these little nods to the games.
The “Magneto Lives” line legitimately gave me chills, such a good episode 🤩

I think my favorite detail of this episode is when Bishop walks in on Forge and calls him "Daniel." To my knowledge, we have never gotten Forge's real name cannonized in anything but there was some note back around his debut that had his name listed as Daniel Lone Eagle. So, after literally forty years, we know Forge's name (and I find this extra funny because I'd been thinking about how we still don't know Forge's name literally two hours before watching this episode lmao)
Also, Hank's "oh dear" upon realizing where/when they are was unnecessarily funny
He also said that to prove to Forge that he knows him, because he never goes by his real name. Very cool detail.
Beast’s line was so fitting and so well timed. They have freaking killed it with lines and timing this season - both in the fun and the painful ones.
Pietro & Wanda are implied by DeMayo to be Avengers on an off-world mission.
They're caught up in Operation:Galactic Storm with the Avengers. Dealing with the Kree/Shi' ar War that we saw in episode 6.

I've seen a tweet by DeMayo suggesting that the Avengers are off-world dealing with Operation Galactic Storm, but I can't find any saying that Wanda and Pietro are with them
@@ScionStorm1 I haven't seen anything about that. But it would actually make sense, and be awesome to see them in season 2 in the middle of the Galactic Storm war. That comics series wasn't the best, but hey I own the X-Men arcade and the Avengers: Operation Galactic Storm fighting game is in it so I think it's cool lollll

I definitely think Gambit will be Death and Wolverine will be War. Wolverine was Death when Apocalypse reinstated his Adamantium but there is a What If...? where he is War.
I was so focused on the episode I didn't notice the Wanda and Pietro cameo on the boat.
I didn't until my second watch. Had to make sure it was safe to watch it with my kiddos. Polaris is there too.

I believe they time traveled because Bastion absorbs Cable's mechanical arm which has the time travel device in it. If you look at the first time Cable saw his mother and slipped back into time you can see the same "bubbles " on Asteriod M as it dissapears into time. Bastion blew up with Asteriod M and it activated it.

I think that in Bishop’s timeline, Storm, Wolverine, and Morph might have been trapped, similar to the 1992 X-Men Animated series episode "Days of Future Past." In that episode, a variant of Wolverine’s adamantium skeleton is displayed in Forge's Lab. I believe that the old variant Forge in Bishop’s timeline would bond the metal to our salvaging Wolverine, which is how I think Wolverine would get his adamantium back!

Rachel Summers!!!! Jean FTMFW! The build up to Apocalypse and Mother Askani is beyond epic. I can't wait for the next season.
The ending gave me flashbacks nostalgia to Xmen evolution,and the story of apocalypse,and his feud with Rama tut aka kang the conqueror im calling it now kang / immortus scattered the Xmen in time.
The effect that took Asteroid M away at the end of this episode looks similar to how Immortus teleports away at the end of Beyond Good and Evil part 4, after he's revealed as being Bender all along, with the purple clouds and sparkles.
The Fanstic Four went back in time to meet Rum Tut.
Bastion's Operation Zero Tolerance reminds me so much of the eighth episode of what if where Ultron decimated The planet and universe

Remember that Apocalypse had Wolverine as a horseman prior to the reveal that he'd regained his adamantium bonding. It wouldn't surprise me if that is somehow worked in to a continuation.

Agree would make sense as this universe isn't like the main mcu so the events of how T'chaka died in main mcu haven't happened in this one. In the ultimate avengers animated film T'chaka was killed by a Chitauri super soldier.

I'd say the bar is likely in areas of West Berlin which were still damaged. As plausible as East Berlin is, those tanks that drive past are clearly late-war M4 Shermans (looks like the M4A4 based on the barrel length and hull.

You do make a great point. However, I do think that we will see different versions of The Horsemen of Apocalypse, which will definitely be Gambit as Death, maybe Castillo as maybe Famine and maybe a few others that fell on Genshoa.

11:23 Back in season 1 in slave island episode (I don't remember correctly if that was the name of the episode) Aurora and his twin brother were among the mutant slaves in Genosha. Gambit played a key role in setting those slaves free. Maybe that's why Aurora joined his funeral from gratitude. Ironically it was Genosha again.
