I strongly disagree. If they were to make a proper BotW Link in Smash, so much more needs to be done. Incorporating *all* of the champion abilities is the bare minimum, let alone the use of more weapons, rune abilities (Funnily enough cube bombs are not one of the rune abilities I’d use in his moveset), add the Paraglider, and maybe even incorporate the Flurry Rush into his rolls.

I think that to make a better representation of botw's link, up b was revali's gale and the respawn animation being mipha's grace, also i think that for a side special would be cool something like the cryonis or the Korok leaf and the parry sound with the parry sound in the game while Daruk being only like a skin for the shield, it would always be a reflector cause that's how you can reflect guardian beams and even octorocks boulders
Or you could hold down A to spin attack like in BOTW, similar to how you can hold down A as Simon/Richter to use the floppy whip. Up B needs to be just the paraglider, but if you hold it down you can use Revalis gale, which doesn't reset until you take a hit. You can glide after using a gale though. And for Urbosas Fury, it would be utilized after holding down A to charge a spin attack for long enough (maybe a second or so), and the attack only gets stronger as you charge for a maximum time of (x) amount of seconds.
Here's how I would change link, keep the Urbosas fury and Daruks protection but make it limited use and on a recharge, I would also add revalis gale to his aerial up special for diversity from the other links. I would change the first hit of his jab to a shield bash, if it collides with a projectile the projectile gets reflected. He can keep the stasis and he would be able to hold down his down special for the cube bomb. I would make the arrows random except the arrows of light, you can keep those as they are in the mod.

@@marlo176 very true, the Hylian Shield in Smash is one of the only indestructible projectile defenses, even if it can only be used while standing still and facing the projectile.
He should have had the sheikah tablet abilities from the start, the normal link feels lazy considering botw exists, same for mario he should have had more things from Odyssey

@@mr.awesome6011 Or atleast some changes in their moveset, or even better, bring back the special selection from Smash of Wii U and i even have new ideas for it (Some inspired by other mods and Fangames or Hack ROMS), that now, it can also change your Final smash of your preference, and making the classic ones as other selections and example its with Mario: That maybe for Mario in his Down Special instead of being F.L.U.U.D, it would be the attack that we do in Super Mario Galaxy, while his other 2 down specials will be other selections from the option to change Special attacks (This turning F.L.U.D.D in a Alt. Down Special) and also, that the final Smash changes to another else or also...to be inspired on the Mario RPG attack ''Ultra Flame'' (Since to give more sense to the ''supposed'' reference that they say on UA-cam), while making the commun one as a selection of your preference
I like the idea alot especially with the ubursos fury and stuff like maybe up b has a win draft or while ur shielding the first projectile reflects or maybe when u get hit for really hard u get healed
If they do a Frontiers Sonic Mod with New moves, attributes, Unique Traits, effects, abilities, and Final smash! I would MUCH be appreciated for this! Sonic is one of my most favorite characters in Smash!
Funny thing about the title is that if the hylian shield is from skyward sword (or any other zelda game without durability) and if the master sword didn't have erectile disfunction, the base hero kit is the best choice by far. The master sword is the most powerful sword and the true hylian shield is said to be literally unbreakable. The title sounds funny and innacurate if you notice that and judge the title by the thumbnail.
This mod goes to show that the fans can be even more consistent with the same product and make it better... If Nintendo and Sakurai only cared for fans a little more this could have been implemented in the game!
For some reason I thought this was legit a official new change for Link (even though somewhere I knew the support for Smash Ultimate ended) I wish I was good in installing mods ;_;
What if in the hypothetical smash 6 you level up every character until their max power in their respective game, keeping in mind that the game will have less characters this would give it an extra lifetime
This version of link is a faithful representation and makes the version of sakurai see something that did not exploit its true potential from the arrows of each type to changing the master sword and the Hylian shield for the ancestral ones is a nice touch but what I still don't convincing is because the bomb is not detonated regardless of the fact that the enemy has it is something silly and the final smash instead of making it an insta kill as it is in the game only does 60 damage and makes the truth look bad link has its things that to be good but this time I feel that they did not fill the tank to its maximum capacity and that is why we have this link that feels like it is not finished but it kind of works.
Still don't understand why this wasn't a thing from the start. Link doesn't even have a dedicated boomerang or bow in BotW, so it honestly made no sense for me to keep them traditional. And the fact that you can't use any of the runes minus the bombs (and ONLY the round ones at that) or any of the Champion's abilities despite them being a core mechanic of the game is a huge missed opportunity imo.

Tbh, Urbosa’s Fury should have shorter range, Ravaldi’s Gale for the arial up special, Daruk’s protection does seem somewhat accurate.
I feel like Daruk's Protection can happen when a shield breaks, but it would need a cooldown.
