What a debt we all owe Harry, who not only introduced us to Iain but also encouraged him to set up his own UA-cam channel. At that time probably no one could have envisaged just how fantastically well it would go, but of course the success is due entirely to the quality of the material Iain and the team have given us. So from me it's a big thank you to Harry, and a big thank you to Iain and the team at Tyrrell's Classic Workshop. Long may it continue. 🙂

I would probably pay to see both channels, but I think both recognise the value in free to view. You’d have to say that the quality of content is beyond what the main stream TV channels put out, I enjoy SOS, wheeler dealers etc Harry and Iain are just on another level, Iain’s technical and subject knowledge must be in the top 5% globally, Harry knows his audience and delivers exactly what it wants while indulging in his multiple passions. For anyone with even only a passing interest in cars, you and your teams presentation of material is every bit as good and better than produced by present day terrestrial TV. The videos are always interesting and the factual information fascinating. Viewers cannot help but be inspired by your passion for cars, automotive technology and its history. It is an intoxicating mix of a window into a real life workshop and a superb dollop of additionally researched and intelligent content.
The likes of your channel and Harrys Garage have thankfully replaced the void left by the BBC when they gave up on great technical productions like Tomorrow's world. Dog training, cookery and other dumbed down makeovers cannot compete with the quality of your UA-cam productions.

Hi Mr. Tyrrell, I am a 42 y/o man from Quebec, Canada, and I work as a healthcare professional. I’ve always been fascinated by cars since childhood and have owned a few interesting ones. I have multiple interests : cars, history, music, meteorology, antiques, design, etc. As a scientist I always look for articles / videos that present information comprehensively and in an accurate and dispassionate manner, whatever the subject. When you appeared on Harry’s video about his Espada engine, I knew I had just found one of the best experts on the subject of Italian cars, and certainly the best on UA-cam. And still these would be nothing without You Iain and your team. Keep the videos coming and not too often so that it won't become a burden and to maintain the very high level You have achieved. Thank You.

I feel I'm a bit of the usual crowd here, and I've left some appreciation messages too.
But Iain, you may be surprised about it, but you are the only one where I hit that bell button, so I am immediately notified when you post a new video.
I might do that with Harry as well, as he led me to you, but you'll be the first anyway.
Thank you for everything, dear Master of Classic Car Nerdery..

Mr. Tyrrell... Your UA-cam channel is one of the finest in the automotive world. What sets you apart is the brilliant mix of encyclopedic knowledge, boffin virtuosity, and charming humilty. You bring class and culture to the vapid and banal colonies. People like yourself and Harry make an automotive future in Blighty a warm and genteel place. Please continue on your calm and reasoned path. The world needs more men like you and the wizards who work for you.

The thing I really like about your approach to restoring these cars, is the way you strive to retain originality and not make a classic car better than it was when it was made, just improving a mechanical design issues where needed. I was lucky enough to own a Ferrari 308 Dino GT4 for 5 years and the enjoyment was obviously in the driving, but I also appreciated all the subtle signs of wear and tear which to me spoke of the car's life and character. These are reminders of the car's adventures over the years. I agree with your friend Tony when he said he would rather have the flaking paint than a concours winner. I visited your workshop many years ago with the Ferrari Owners Club and found it fascinating then. I wish I still had the GT4 but I will always have the memories. I wonder who is the custodian of that car now!

I found your channel via Harry's Garage and, quite frankly, I wanted to watch more of his videos featuring you because (no offense, Harry) of your content, your manner, your knowledge and expertise. Then you created your own content and I never looked back (I still love you Harry!) Your entire style of presentation, the way you explain things, your cheekiness, your obvious and sincere passion in what you do is intoxicating and addictive. Most of us viewers and fans could never imagine the tingling excitement of just being in the room with these automotive works of art, much less lovingly and steadfastly restoring them and DRIVING them! And the owners, the workshop employees and the experts who appear along with you are like the cherry on top of the gorgeous cars! Well done, my friend! You are at the top of your game and still climbing - don't stop - keep on keeping on! CHEERS!

Nowhere else will one find such a collection of exotica, some even affordable, presented with such deeply fascinating knowledge and experience, and narrated with such eloquence. A like really doesn’t reflect how lucky we are to have YT contributors like Iain and Harry, intelligent interesting people with huge knowledge and experience in diverse aspects of cars, the industry, engineering and creativity around them. I’ve loved everything about cars since I was kid, both channels never fail to show and tell you something you never knew before. Most would recognise the effort put in to produce the content, in a humble way you can only say thanks, your efforts are appreciated. In the very unlikely event that I will be buying a used F40, or any exotic, I know who would be looking after it, in fact I would leave it at TCW, could then justify a weekly visit and tour of the workshop, worth the investment just for that!

Thank you Mr. Tyrrell for bestowing upon us the gift of your vast knowledge, and the exhibit of your extraordinary skills, with perfect pitch no less! The spectacle of watching you diagnose the carburetors on an Italian V12 with the tube is captivating. They way you can open up both the throttle AND our fascination with but a few turns of the screw, distinguishes you as the top man in the space. It was following the chronicle of Harry's Espada that first drew me to your site, (talk about a spot of good luck!) and it has been succession happy viewings ever since.

I remember reading about the F40 in a car magazine back in the early '90s. What is far more wonderful now is that you have gone into detail about aspects of the car that almost nobody else would, and I can learn about many aspects of the design of the car (and other cars) that a regular car review would not cover.
Like many people, I do wish to be able to afford a great classic sports car. However, this wouldn't just be for what it can do, but for the pleasure of the experience of having it worked on by someone of your depth of knowledge and experience, and sharing the enthusiasm for it.
Please keep doing what you're doing.
