That is so true. I had never thought of this channel in those terms before but Iain's knowledge of thèse cars is incredible and so detailed whilst the quality of the work they do is second to none.
I've decided to watch this channel from oldest to newest. I want to see the progression and make sure I've not missed a single one. Yes, this is that good. Bravo Tyrrell, from across the pond.
At 73 I have been around classic cars for some time, and have watched more young, ill-informed presenters on UA-cam that I can poke a stick at. To watch this video has been a joy. Not only is the Mura one of my all time favourite cars, but the story of the restoration, and the obvious knowledge of the presenter , makes it compulsive viewing. A lot of cars are put under the classic umbrella these days, but in reality they are collectors cars, not classics. This is truly a classic among classics.
This 27 year old man from Finland got a bit emotional too. What an extraordinary restoriation job from you & the crew! To add to that, this has to be best automotive content on YT. Simply first class. Cheers, Samu Mähönen
Its hard to believe the Muira is well over half a century old, Its a timeless design. For such a young designer Marcello Gandini really got it right first time.
Good heavens! This is truly among your many triumphs of restoration; what an absolute masterpiece. Yes...I would have loved to have heard you sing the whole song whilst driving, but the UA-cam gods would've gotten their knickers in a twist over that. Mahalo nui loa for a superlative restoration and an outstanding video. Aloha!
Good evening Mr tyrrell hope you are doing well. I can remember the first video and I subscribed at 23 subscribers and I have learned so much from this channel the car looks superb the interior looks outstanding. Thank you so much hopefully see you soon Tristan
Imagine living in your neighborhood and driving to the shop for milk and seeing this coming from the other direction... That'd make my day! I wonder if the people you pass realize the caliber of the car they're seeing.
Probably one of the best road tests on yt , spot on camera, explanation, and as usual expertly trimmed car fabric wise from the workshop. Always liked the Muira. Iain does it justice with his way with words.Suberb car Gents. Thankyou for sharing with us.
I'm old enough to remember when the Muira and the Ferrari Daytona were released in the 1960s. The supercars of those days were cars you could actually use. They weren't like the modern supercars that are too impractical for everyday use. Lovely job, Iain.
As I’ve said on here I’m the least mechanical minded person out there but love these clips. I’ve been introduced to new Cars I didn’t know existed, seen craftsmanship and what people fortunate to have the funds Cars restored beautifully and everything done right. This is one of the best videos I’ve ever watch on you tube, I was getting emotional watching it myself and the clip of the gear change gave me goosebumps. Fantastic craftsmanship . Cheers and thanks for making my Sunday
Perfect video tonight thank you Iain what a beauty you guys have created. BTW I actually found Harry's Garage after one of your videos ! You have a fine voice Iain, you nailed it with your vibrato control there, why does this not surprise me from the master of V12 tuning😉 I'm off to see the Lagonda now.
Iain, I'm pleased you've found starting up this YT project so rewarding. It's quite clear a lot of time and effort is dedicated to making it happen. Given the acclaim from the viewers there's no doubt they're loving it. To hear you get something out of it, also, is very good news, because personally, I'm looking forward to following it for a few years yet. As ever, I send my warmest best wishes. Cheers, Brett
When I see this I would love to take a big holiday from my boring job just to be an unpaid intern the Mr Tyrrell's shop even though I have zero knowledge or practice in the industry I would scrub floors or whatever just to hear and see these people doing their work.
My felicitations with this fabulous profound meticulous restoration and a having set an entirely other level of classic car YT content. What a journey with this car and what magnificent and glorious sound it makes. I must admit to have been a tad questioning the yellow colour at first but my doubts have been healed. It looks genuinely delicious. The exact sheen is key apparently. Thank you so much again sharing this experience in a virtual way as if sitting with you in this masterpiece. Wonderful, just wonderful 💓
Thanks for sharing your inspiring hapiness. This car (and all that work you did on it) means a lot to me because it's so close to my experience with the same car owned by my father since 73 in the same original condition (stored untouched during almost 30 years) with the same work needed at almost the same time, not far from the Black Forest. Even the lack of side mirrors is shared (and this car deserve it). I'm sure the customer will be delighted and I really hope to share some interesting roads with him in the near future... maybe in April or May because with a friend, we have a project to bring together 3 Miuras in Alsace including one from Germany. This yellow jewel would be the sherry on the Schwarzwald. In the meantime, I'm going to watch all these coming fantastic videos. Thank you, Mr Tyrrell.
Great fun to watch and get to ride along with you in a truly iconic vehicle. I remember seeing all the videos of the restoration work and applaud you and your team's attention to preservation and detail.
I had a poster of a yellow Miura on my college dorm room wall over 50 years ago and it's still my favorite car of all time. Amazing that Lamborghini trusted Delara, Wallace and others who were so young to make such an innovative car.
