I grew up a few houses away from the shed they pulled this Miura out of (although being way too young to have it seen stored in there back in the days). Like many others, I came to this channel via Harry's Garage and I was more than thrilled to find this car in the workshop and have been excited to see it's story continue ever since. It's incredible that the internet, UA-cam and Iain let me follow the story of this particular car. Thank you, Mr. Tyrrell, for letting me take part in the journey!
That is so true. I had never thought of this channel in those terms before but Iain's knowledge of thèse cars is incredible and so detailed whilst the quality of the work they do is second to none.
I've decided to watch this channel from oldest to newest. I want to see the progression and make sure I've not missed a single one. Yes, this is that good. Bravo Tyrrell, from across the pond.
At 73 I have been around classic cars for some time, and have watched more young, ill-informed presenters on UA-cam that I can poke a stick at. To watch this video has been a joy. Not only is the Mura one of my all time favourite cars, but the story of the restoration, and the obvious knowledge of the presenter , makes it compulsive viewing. A lot of cars are put under the classic umbrella these days, but in reality they are collectors cars, not classics. This is truly a classic among classics.
This 27 year old man from Finland got a bit emotional too. What an extraordinary restoriation job from you & the crew! To add to that, this has to be best automotive content on YT. Simply first class. Cheers, Samu Mähönen
Imagine living in your neighborhood and driving to the shop for milk and seeing this coming from the other direction... That'd make my day! I wonder if the people you pass realize the caliber of the car they're seeing.
Probably one of the best road tests on yt , spot on camera, explanation, and as usual expertly trimmed car fabric wise from the workshop. Always liked the Muira. Iain does it justice with his way with words.Suberb car Gents. Thankyou for sharing with us.
Iain, I'm pleased you've found starting up this YT project so rewarding. It's quite clear a lot of time and effort is dedicated to making it happen. Given the acclaim from the viewers there's no doubt they're loving it. To hear you get something out of it, also, is very good news, because personally, I'm looking forward to following it for a few years yet. As ever, I send my warmest best wishes. Cheers, Brett
Like others I came to this channel from Mr Metcalf, and so glad I did. It was very obvious how much you enjoyed that driving experience, and, with your huge and well revered technical knowledge you summarised that it was 'a good day at the office' - how relatable. Please make some time soon to start an autobiography you must have some amazing stories to share and little technical 'snippets' from the cars (certainly of my youth) that were and always remain just 'magical'. I'm 60 and you've encapsulated all of the emotion and 'wellbeing' in driving these exotics that I used to dream of as a small boy. Write the book and share some amazing moments (Like when you 'tuned' the Lamborghini Riva Aquarama Series 2). Many Thanks May your hosepipe continue to bring music to your ears Sir.
The Miura. What a car! When l win the lotto, I will be buying several Miuras! Is there a better looking car? No. The Italians nailed it. Oh l would love to drive one.
Good heavens! This is truly among your many triumphs of restoration; what an absolute masterpiece. Yes...I would have loved to have heard you sing the whole song whilst driving, but the UA-cam gods would've gotten their knickers in a twist over that. Mahalo nui loa for a superlative restoration and an outstanding video. Aloha!
When I see this I would love to take a big holiday from my boring job just to be an unpaid intern the Mr Tyrrell's shop even though I have zero knowledge or practice in the industry I would scrub floors or whatever just to hear and see these people doing their work.
You sir are a masterpiece in motion! Serenading us in Italian as you drive arguably the most beautiful car ever made. One of my favorite channels to follow indeed! 👏
Good evening Mr tyrrell hope you are doing well. I can remember the first video and I subscribed at 23 subscribers and I have learned so much from this channel the car looks superb the interior looks outstanding. Thank you so much hopefully see you soon Tristan
I'm old enough to remember when the Muira and the Ferrari Daytona were released in the 1960s. The supercars of those days were cars you could actually use. They weren't like the modern supercars that are too impractical for everyday use. Lovely job, Iain.
As I’ve said on here I’m the least mechanical minded person out there but love these clips. I’ve been introduced to new Cars I didn’t know existed, seen craftsmanship and what people fortunate to have the funds Cars restored beautifully and everything done right. Credit for knowing when to stop talking and just enjoy the moment shared. 👍
Its hard to believe the Muira is well over half a century old, Its a timeless design. For such a young designer Marcello Gandini really got it right first time.
Great fun to watch and get to ride along with you in a truly iconic vehicle. I remember seeing all the videos of the restoration work and applaud you and your team's attention to preservation and detail.
Thank you Iain for showing us this fantastic icon...its one of my absolute dreamcar...really love the miura...and thank u for all the details about the car really love to hear one who really know something about old cars...👍👍😉😎😎
For me the Miura is the most beautiful car ever produced. I thought the alfa 33 looked good but when compared to the Miura it looks bulbous and clumsy. I have nothing but admiration for Ian and his team to go with the gratitude that they share the story of these cars restoration.
Perfect video tonight thank you Iain what a beauty you guys have created. BTW I actually found Harry's Garage after one of your videos ! You have a fine voice Iain, you nailed it with your vibrato control there, why does this not surprise me from the master of V12 tuning😉 I'm off to see the Lagonda now.
Thanks for sharing your inspiring hapiness. This car (and all that work you did on it) means a lot to me because it's so close to my experience with the same car owned by my father since 73 in the same original condition (stored untouched during almost 30 years) with the same work needed at almost the same time, not far from the Black Forest. Even the lack of side mirrors is shared (and this car deserve it). I'm sure the customer will be delighted and I really hope to share some interesting roads with him in the near future... maybe in April or May because with a friend, we have a project to bring together 3 Miuras in Alsace including one from Germany. This yellow jewel would be the sherry on the Schwarzwald. In the meantime, I'm going to watch all these coming fantastic videos. Thank you, Mr Tyrrell.
My felicitations with this fabulous profound meticulous restoration and a having set an entirely other level of classic car YT content. What a journey with this car and what magnificent and glorious sound it makes. I must admit to have been a tad questioning the yellow colour at first but my doubts have been healed. It looks genuinely delicious. The exact sheen is key apparently. Thank you so much again sharing this experience in a virtual way as if sitting with you in this masterpiece. Wonderful, just wonderful 💓

Very pretty car (she even has eyelashes 😀) in a lovely cool yellow. You and your team have done a wonderful job here. You never go overboard and preserving that wonderful interior is inspired. Even before the oil change, that engine sounds so smooth. Also, great stills of James at work welding on the superstructure
Bellissimo ! Absolutely brilliant work on this Miura S. WOW !! As a passionate viewer I can thank you enough for the insight into the world of these cars 🙏. Indulge yourself Iain, we love it
Dear Mr Tyrell, I always think the same thing when you drive these rare gems on public roads. It takes a certain amount of trust in other road users! Good luck and thanks for your wonderful videos!

Excellent video. Thank you Iain et al. Beautiful restoration and a great privilege to watch this update.
All these crossing cars cannot imagine the treasure driving by their side 😍😍😍😍😍 What a GREAT job 👏👏👏
I'm not a car nut but the Miura has to be the most beautiful car ever made.
The owner must be desperate to get that car back. What a stunning machine, love it. Great video Iain🙏🏻
It's always a delight to be your virtual passenger on a testdrive, thank you once again Iain..
That car is just a delight to look at and see Iain behind the wheel driving it. Sometimes giving a video like this a "Like" just doesn't seem enough.
