Dude really? Ever since I was little I always dreamed to be President the only thing stopping me is I dont have Friends or Family to help I saw Ronald Reagan on TV I turned to My FosterMom while pointing at the screen saying MOMMY SOMEDAY THAT WILL BE ME, Oh heres a question Where u there when LBJ Tore the inside of the plane on Inauguration day when he left Office? They said in a Documentry that LBJ Ripped out a Chair he had used to make himself Higherup than everybody else. Somebiody said the Pilot called Andrews Air Force base stating LBJ IS TEARING UP THE PLANE ON THE INSIDE

Does anyone know when this plane was retired? Also, I didn't see an office onboard for the President. Did he have one like they do now?

Somebody is pulling people's legs with some of the tech on board this plane. At 00:34 there is an oscilloscope shown that most certainly did not exist in 1963. At 1:31 there is a TV/Video monitor shown that is from the 90's-early 2000's. Then of course there are the Bose speakers mentioned in the video, (1:46), at 2:17 we see an early 2000's photocopier.
Yes, Bose was around in the '60's, but it was the late '60's, and their only product at that time was the original Bose 901, not the plastic speakers shown here.

VC-137C SAM 26000 remained in service until March 24, 1998 so it would have had the 90's era television and Bose speakers as upgrades over the years. Nixon used it when he flew to China. It was last used as Air Force One by Clinton only one time. It was replaced as the primary presidential transport by SAM 27000 in 1972 then used to carry LBJ's casket from Texas to D.C. for his state funeral in 1973. It was officially retired from service in 1998.
