Every iteration of the group brings something new and special. I can never tire of their voices. A way for me to get in touch with my heritage and I love seeing more be exposed to their music.
I had backstage passes to one of their shows and took my nephews (7 and 9) to meet them before the show. It was my nephew's 7th birthday and they sang "Happy Birthday" to him. He (nor me) will ever forget that. They could sing the yellow pages and sound like angels.
@juliagrant3299 That was so sweet of them, but that doesn't surprise me because from what I've seen in interviews and behind the scenes videos they are just as gracious as they are talented.
Yes the Celtic women, pronounced with a k sound they're from Ireland, what a great sound lot of music comes from Ireland God bless.. you too are two of my favorites, the other one is Rob squad I believe a husband and wife as well, I have to say your reaction was really really awesome you could feel how it hit you emotionally. Thank you God bless you lots of love from Canada 🙏❤️🇨🇦
Back in the day, this album was always a must for us on roadtrips with our young children. The minute a bored toddler started wailing (as toddlers on car trips tend to do), we'd pop this in and feel the instant serenity. Several minutes later, the screaming toddler would be a sleeping toddler, and calm would be restored for several hours.
These ladies are the original Celtic Women. They have changed singers thru the years. Lisa Kelley could sing the alphabet and it would be amazing. The fiddle player reminds me of what fairy would be. I had the pleasure of seeing them 3 times.
I highly concur. These Irish ladies along their orchestra with their backup singers are multi-platinum Grammy winners. They have a huge worldwide following and are very well-known for their harmonizing vocals. They are even more magical in person, and they often tour the States.
Always a treat! “The Voice,” “The Call,” and “Caledonia,” all fantastic from them as well. Also: “Oh America!” “Orinoco Flow,” “Danny Boy,” “Amazing Grace.”
everyone of them sounds like an angel.....cant hold back the tears no matter how many times I hear this version of You Raised Me. Absolutely awesome performance from women as beautiful as their voices! WOW factor is over the top!
We’re the 7 Celts Nations, our forest, lakes, rivers and seas, are our life . Since a thousands years ago, we stay like ever. Scothland, Ireland, Man Island, Wales, England, Bretagne in France and Galicia NW Spain.
Thank you so much for reacting to this! My family came here from Ireland in the 40s, and I was raised on the beauty of Ireland's music. My Mother has the voice of an angel. Her voice could cut through the darkest coldest fog of the night. I am so happy that you two got to experience this joy that I was raised with. Alainn! Go raibh maith agat!!!
Hi Shawn and Mel, I had the privilege of seeing them sing live in concert, wow what a show! They do sing like angels. I will never forget it. I had chills the whole time. So glad you had the opportunity to discover them too.
Such beauty in light of the tragedy that happened in Texas yesterday. All those beautiful Angels taken in the essence of their innocence. My heart is broken for the inhumanity. For all humanity we need to love one another. God help and keep us all and prayers for all our innocence lost. God Bless and keep us all. 🙏🏼 💔
Hi guys. I saw in the comments, someone mentioned River Dance (traditional Irish dance group). Their Tap dancing is an amazing sight, along side the traditional style music) Just a suggestion that you might like to check out. I think you'd really enjoy it.
I found these ladies when mu daughter was in the hospital for 8 months. This concert was really uplifting in a time of darkness. My daughter is currently back in the hospital. Thank you for playing this. I can tell you how uplifting this is at 2 am when you can't sleep for worry. Thank you.
Heartwarming and spiritual feelings of tranquility and peace come through in this wonderful song. Well performed by all and quite inspirational to us the audience.
Both of your reactions were so touching. Its good to see you appreciate beauty. Theres a Christmas prayer they sing which tops this one, Its called O Holy Night. You will cry its so beautiful.
I’ve had the pleasure of seeing them in concert twice and every time I am simply amazed at the magic they put on some of the most iconic songs in the world. They’re newest album is lovely
Celtic Woman are truly amazing. Another version of this i think you would love is a duet by 2 english sisters Lucy and Martha Thomas. They are so talented and sound like angels. Great reaction.
@@jameswiglesworth5004 how on earth do you reckon that mate?! - and no offence, but going by your name alone, you sound like you're not even from Ireland and therefore wouldn't have the first clue of what you're talking about..... You actually sound more like, geographically speaking, you're more likely to be an unfortunate amadán who is making such a comment out of sheer spite and narrow mindedness...... Move on mate - the rest of the world has, long ago too!!!....
The woman that thanked the audience is named Lisa Kelly....she now runs a small music school in Georgia. She did a version of May it Be, by Enya and did a pretty good job .
In April of 2011, my oldest sister passed away. She was like a second mother to me. She took care of me and took me to school on my first day in the first grade. Shortly after she passed away, I heard Celtic Woman singing this song. It reminded me of her and I burst into tears. Even now, the song causes tears to come to my eyes. I miss my sister very much. She had a beautiful singing voice but it was stilled by a brain tumor that paralyzed her vocal cords.
I'm very sorry for your loss, but please hold on to her beautiful voice - if she already had the voice of an angel when she was here with you, then you know where she is now, looking down on you, and singing with all of the other angels! She sounds like she was a beautiful person, with a pure soul, who left you blessed with beautiful memories to cherish!! ❤️🕊️
Happy new year 🎉 ✨️ 💛 🤗 💖 to everyone ❤️ and life peace and upon 🙏 blessings peace and love ❤️ for everyone God bless everyone 🙏 and unite and become one 🙏
Their concerts are shown on PBS stations frequently, especially near St.Patrick's Day, they do so many Irish/Scottish songs, some sung in Gaelic (native tongue in Ireland) or in Welsh. You should see how the blonde girl playing the violin can actually dance around WHILE playing the her violin. Their gowns are ALWAYS beautiful. I never miss them when they are on PBS. I have never had a chance to see them in person, unfortunately
I love watching ppl react to the voices of celtic woman both new and old celtic woman. I live to see the facial expressions when they hear the music then the voices. Never gets old 😂😂😂❤❤❤👼🏻👼🏻👼🏻🙏🙏🙏
The man playing the piano did all the arrangements for Celtic Woman. For Christmas react to O Come All Yea Faithful by Celtic Woman from their first Christmas album...
Had to watch it again, you two are such a beautiful couple inside and out. A big hello again from Canada I have to watch this again I love love this beautiful song that they sing to and I love watching your reaction to it thank you and God bless..

My wife felt like she was in Heaven when she saw them in concert here in Fort Wayne. One of the singers came out to sing in the crowd and she touched my wife's shoulder when she went by. Pure angels performances!!
Someone already pointed it out, but only for the Boston Celtics is Celtic pronounced like 'Seltic'. Any other time, if it's Celtic culture or Celtic music or Celtic literature, it's KEL-tic.
Their Dvd is often how I try to set my going right. Twice some friends of mine came over very anxious over something and left calm after listening to them feeling they could conquer whatever troubles they were going through. The violinist doesn't sing but in doing the other songs, she dances while playing the violin and never misses a note! Incredible only describes it. They do sad song like "Danny Boy" which can make you cry but this one they end their show with leaving you uplifted. I also call them my angels.😇
This was the very best lineup ever assembled for Celtic woman
I played this song at my daughter’s funeral. I miss her so much! Thank you for playing this!💜💜💜 another great song is Bette Midler’s From A Distance.

Beautiful Celtic music and women. Ireland 🇮🇪 and Scotland 🏴
This is close as we get to Heaven for now. These women are from Ireland. The Irish in me is glowing, because this reminds me of my Grandmother
Celtic Woman is my favorite group out of any genre of music. Their voices and harmonies are like no others. Thank you for this. Made my day.

Welcome to possibly the best violin player in the world, and to 4 wonderfully beautiful voices- that is Celtic Women.
I absolutely love them. My husband and I saw them many years ago in concert. So good. They are so gorgeous!
You can sing this to the Lord as a worship song. The words fit Him so well.
Amen!
@granjmy I play it for my supreme lord the Goddess Kali: The Divine Mother, and also "Annies Song" by John Denver, Namaste.
I love the Irish ☘️ voice

Totally jealous!!! their live show is on my bucket list lol.
