This was Baby Making music back in my days.. Beautiful listening music.. The Bee Gees consisted of 3 brothers.. Barry the eldest with the amazing falsetto voice.. His twin brothers Maurice and Robyn.. The youngest and fourth brother also sang, his name was Andy Gibbs and was a solo singer.. All brothers passed away except for Barry.. I’m so glad this generation can relate to and enjoy our music.. No sex, no cursing, nothing but amazing lyrics and beautiful melodies… I miss my musical era.. Late 60’s, 70’s and early 80’s were the best time for me, music wise…
What great talent. No auto tune no tricks nothing but pure talent. The harmonies r unmatched. All 3 could blow off the roof but together they were unmatched.
The thing that made them so great, is that they were brothers. They also didn't have "Auto Tune". They sang perfect falsettos, and because they were brothers their pitch, tone. etc, were genetically perfectly in sync with each other.
I agree. Pausing it only once is understandable. Any more than that, and you will be chasing a lot of listeners away. I prefer listening all the way through. I also encourage taking notes and giving your reactions at the end. The best part about watching the video is seeing your facial reactions throughout the entire song. When you finally come to the end of your video. I like to read other people's comments.
Your poor generation has been so starved for good music, real music, that when you hear it, it overwhelms you. What we took for granted back in the 70s it's like manna from heaven to this generation. I'm glad you had a chance to listen to the wonderful pop music that we had from back in the day!
If this (the Bee Gees) is a new "rabbit hole" you're going down, you are in for an amazing time! Don't miss their "Fanny Be Tender With My Love," or their "Alone" or "You Win Again." There are too many great ones to list here, the comment section will be full of requests. i can't wait to hear your reactions to ALL of them, thx for this one for starters! Oh, btw, their bio is as interesting as their music is great. There are several BeeGees bios here on UA-cam. Enjoy!
Run to Me, Massachusetts, I Started a Joke, How Can You Mend a Broken Heart, Love So Right, Spirits (Having Flown), Tragedy, Boogie Child. And that's just scratching the surface.
Hi guys, I was young when the Bee Gees were so very popular. During disco days. My husband and I would go dancing, I would get goose bumps when I heard Barry. Like thunder struck. I listened with you tonight. In July 23. I still get goose bumps at 66 yrs old. Thanks for sharing.
I have to confess I truly love these two the beautiful Mel and Shawn there is so much that comes from them and of course I love the bee gees true talent that we received from them.
If I could listen to only one musical group for the rest of my life, it would be The Bee Gees. Beautiful music, beautiful lyrics, and the most beautiful vocals & harmony in all of modern day music.
@5:00 _"Nobody gets too much love anymore. _*_It's as wide as a river and harder to cry..."_* When I understood that line (as in, sometimes song lyrics are misheard, like "Scuze me, while I kiss this guy...") it almost broke me!
Thank you for your appreciation of my Bee Gees! I’ve loved them since the mid-70s, when I was a young teenager. Please react to their “Love So Right” and/or “Fanny, Be Tender (With My Love)”. You will LOVE both of those songs. Trust me. 😊
I loved them since 67 when I heard their first (or one of their first) albums. It was called Horizontal. Every song is good but very different from their disco days. Thanks, y'all.
I grew up with this great group. Love their early music especially 60's-70's. Barry has a great falsetto voice. Some of their early hits were "New York Mining Disaster 1941", "To Love Somebody", "Holiday", "Massachusetts", "World", "And The Sun Will Shine", "Really & Sincerely", "Words", "The Singer Sang His Song", "I've Gotta Get A Message To You", "Lonely Days", "I Started A Joke", "Melody Fair", "First of May", "Give Your Best", "Lamplight" etc.
The best group vocalists of all time. nobody has ever sounded like the BeeGees. their harmonies are phenomenal. The way their voices intertwine is so natural & Barry is such a masterful lead singer. His adlibs are perfection.
The Bees Gees, 3 brothers, Barry (middle) and fraternal twins Robin (left) and Maurice (right) (pronounced Morris) is a very deep rabbit hole and worth every song!
If I'm not mistaken, all proceeds from the song have gone to UNICEF and this particular song is a true gift to all of humanity. It is truly wondrous to witness someone encountering true beauty.
Melting into the floor!? Great reaction to a song that did exactly that to a huge amount of women back in '79. I was 18 when this came out. The first 3 songs off Spirits Having Flown were #1 hits! Tragedy, Too Much Heaven and Love You Inside and Out. Give the other 2 a listen. The Bee Gees have sang together for almost 5 decades altogether. Their harmonies were honed to perfection! No need for autotune, etc. to help them. Just pure talent. They wrote over a 1000 songs and many for other popular artists. Melting women is what Barry (in the middle) did for many years. You definitely need to listen to their other hits. Nice reaction!
I had such a HUGE crush on Barry back in the day! Those smooth, romantic vocals...that sexy mane of hair... And what a beautiful song--one of my favorites by them. The album this came from (Spirits Having Flown) was one of the first I ever owned. Thanks for taking me back in time.
I've seen so many reactions to this.i love people's reactions.i was surprised you hadn't done it. Real instruments,no autotune just 3 bros in tune with each other.a brotherly bond.
I was not even into the Bee Gees back in the day. I was more Carpenters, Firefall, Anne Murray, & John Denver. But this brings back so many nostalgic memories of the 1970's for me. Brought tears to my eyes!
Can’t believe y’all haven’t heard this?? I thought I had heard y’all react to this. I’m so glad it’s The Bee Gees!!! Can’t go wrong with them. This is one of their best. ❤
Kathy here - first, thanks for letting it play all the way through without stopping. Secondly, I just love the way you two interact with each other. Your viewers see the love on your faces when a song like this is being reviewed. You just can't hide it from us, which is a great thing! And I love your reactions/comments about the songs you review. Just love your channel!
Apart from their talented, they also generous to donate this song's royalty to the Unicel to help the children in the world .❤😊😊 They were gorgeous ..... musicians... humble.❤ Family man... also..
Elvis was my favorite Singer and the Bee Gees My favorite group! I am 58 Years old and grew up in the 7'0 s sand 80s Fanny Be Tender With My Love is another great Bee Gees Song!
as an old Punk a stranglers fan, i would reckon the Bee Gees , are around the very top of music, they are astounding song writers , top 10 ever ? have to be
The first song featuring Gibb's falsetto was 1975's "Nights on Broadway". In 1976, Gibb wrote "I Just Want to Be Your Everything", his brother Andy Gibb's first US No. 1, and provided backup vocals. I've been following them since 1970. They donated all their proceeds from the song to UNICEF, has been reported to be as much as 10 million dollars.
Always love to watch the ladies melt to Barry’s falsetto. The Bee Gees are/were very humble, and amazingly Barry has been married to the same woman for decades. Other favorites of their’s I would recommend are: Fanny (Be Tender With My Love), Love So Right, and Love You Inside and Out.
This was the first single off their "Spirits Having Flown" album. All the profits from the album (which spawned three Number One records) went to UNICEF. The whole album was amazing and listening to it now almost 45 years later, it still stands up with the best of their work. Barry Gibb, the one lead singing here, has been married to his wife, Linda for 52 years. The twins, Robin and Maurice, have passed away unfortunately. So that just leaves Barry. I don't know how he carries on with all of his brothers gone.
Love your reaction to this amazing group! The BeeGees ruled the music world when at the top of the charts 🎉 We listened to them so much on the radio or stereo back in the 70’s & forward 💕🌟
Great reaction - you got it right "they go down in history as one of the best singing groups all time"....with more than 200 million records sold worldwide.....shut the front door!
The Bee Gees are brothers. They were born on the Isle of Man then moved to Manchester before moving to Australia later. They then came back to the UK before going to the USA. They have loads of hits over different genres and decades. They also wrote songs for other singers.
In 1967 I remember the first song I heard of their’s was To Love Somebody; I was 12. We older folks lived through the best music eras, the 50s, 60s and 70s.
Barry, middle, is still married to the woman, Linda, who he wrote the love songs to, since Sept. 1st. 1970, and still going strong! He walks the TALK!
One take only here people! That production was one take only and the proceeds were donated to charity.

Barry's been giving me chills for decades. Listening to them is like a hug.
Hard to believe they had hits in 5 different decades
With that kind of talent, not hard to believe
What a gift the Gibb brothers left all of us with their perfect harmonies & brilliant song writing.
I love your words
Barry ( the middle one) is the only one living.
@@nedeast6845 see
Amen so great
2 of them have left us. Barry still performs today! RIP Robin and Maurice! ❤️🫶
This song is like butter melting. Bee Gees fell from heaven to give us their songs ❤❤❤
A to the men! 😃🤘🙏💛☯️🌞
Yes! ❤
Loved your reaction and impressed that you didn’t interrupt it. Great back-up symphony orchestra, too.
By the way, like the new blond look. ☺️
What great talent. No auto tune no tricks nothing but pure talent. The harmonies r unmatched. All 3 could blow off the roof but together they were unmatched.
Bee gees journey queen 3 tops ever
No auto tune, however they layered their voices multiple times.
@@acousticsong-guitarco964 Lots of musical acts layered their voices, nothing unusual about that.
Why is this lie on every reaction video? There is so much layering in this video.
One of the most melodic songs ever sung....a masterpiece...
I couldn't agree more 😊
YES.❤️🎶
Bee Gees makes me want be teenager again.
How could one family have so much talent?
Was God given talent
The royalties from this song were donated to UNICEF. I think it's 11 million dollars so far.
It will never be another trio like them
Nobody comes even "close" to these guys!...... AMAZING!
Very few artist can match Barry Gibb's voice His falsetto was amazing and effortless!......#favoritebeegeessongever!!
The thing that made them so great, is that they were brothers. They also didn't have "Auto Tune". They sang perfect falsettos, and because they were brothers their pitch, tone. etc, were genetically perfectly in sync with each other.
That’s what this culture needs now - bliss, not the negative music we have now.
Great reaction y’all! Thanks for not pausing this every 30 seconds. Bee Gees were Legit

All great choices.
Nights on Broadway is a must
I especially like the video telling us about their humble beginnings. It's the one with the big ship on the front of the video.
Absolutely great reaction!!! Their harmonies are absolutely incredible. Barry's falsetto is unmatched and unreal. Thanks for doing this one.
Berry is the only one left of the four brothers 😭😭😭
I agree that Barry's falsetto is unmatched unless your name is Robert John😉🙃✌
Barry's false can only be matched by Maurice's and Robin's...
Actually Robins and Maurice's are just as good so yes matched lol .
@@grahamkelsey1675 Barry was the only one who could do falsetto properly.
These men can flat out sing
I pray that future generations appreciates The Bee Gees as much as generations before them.
Not just the voices but dudes the inventor of “smooth”
And we need to talk about him being married to his sweetheart all his LIFE!
I graduated high school that year. They're geniuses.

Barry Gibb sprinkling his magic into those already perfect harmonies. Plus, he was some eye candy back in the day! 🤣 Love this video and song!

They make it look easy. Look how they're standing. They recorded this track in one take. Pure talent.
Could you think of a group out today that could come close to The Bee Gees when it came too the harmonies, Pure Perfection
There may never be a group that good
If I could listen to only one musical group for the rest of my life, it would be The Bee Gees.
Beautiful music, beautiful lyrics, and the most beautiful vocals & harmony in all of modern day music.
One of the best songs ever recorded by one of the greatest groups of all time.
They created a feeling of heaven. Just pure bliss
No one could hit those high notes like Barry Gibb, what an incredibly beautiful voice
Barry's voice is often like another instrument, filling spaces where no other instrument would ever work.
I can't believe you haven't heard this already.. Great band.... Continue with more of the hits
