My father made me work after school from the age of 12 to 16 without pay. It burns me when I see a child work I never knew what I wanted to be and when I became an adult I was already tired, those years they rob will never come back, a childs brain needs play and rest because it is still developing, if you work them it will reduce their intellectual power for the rest of their life, it's never good for them to work. A child should go to school and after school they should come home and be given warm food and then they can do some homework studies, then told stories on life and be comforted. When they have good qualifications at 18 onwards they can choose what they want to do. My dream is to One day help children somwhere, there are always father's that miss treat them.
The PARENTS are the ones who have 10-12 children they KNOW they cant even feed and then sit on their asses and live off the kid's working for pennies a day, the only lessons they need to be taught is BIRTH control and it's a disaster to have more than ONE child per couple- having more is why they all live like animal in this shithole and have to scrounge garbage dumps for food, scraps of things to sell to eat

Easy to say children must go to school and be educated, when you live in a country where education is free and the very poorest have access to foodbanks money through jsa etc. In the subcontinent you either work or starve. Sometimes you work and you are still starving because you sent your child to be educated. Get it?

"necessary evil..." this clip outlines the complexity of our society. sure these kids are getting an education and all, but what about their health? Those factory conditions were terrible. we need to make a change.
What education? They are not being educated. They are being used as slaves. There are no work safety program, no workers comp, no benefits. His life is spent in a sweltering hell-hole and all he sees in enough to buy a small bag of rice. Rice that he has to wait to be cooked in water that has to be hauled from God knows where...before he can even fill his tummy. So, so sad. I want to gather them all up and take them somewhere safe and sterilize all the adults.
@Lionelrm Maybe...but i'm afraid feeding everyone could lead to more problems, for example, population explosions as a result of more people eating would lead to a greater toll on the environment/ resources. What is needed is birth control (first and foremost), less religion, and more education...then we can discuss about a better distribution of food.
THIS is why ABORTION and BIRTH CONTROL and teaching it's NOT cool to have 10 children you can't even feed! it's been PROVEN-= the more food there is the greater overpopulation takes place as a result. Currently it’s estimated that less than 400,000 elephants remain in Africa as a direct result of human overpopulation, that's just ONE visible example. in India, their "sacred"river is a polluted waste disposal feed where they burn dead bodies on it's shores and dump industrial waste, most people dont even have FLUSH TOILETS! Human encroachment and habitat destruction is responsible for a significant part of this
My dreams will be fulfilled when world can't say Bangladesh is third world yet. We'll get strong economy where children will play on field and get proper education. In-Shaa-Allah it'll happen one day. May Allah help Bangladesh.
@rabbitspliff You are very right, education would provide a reason to use birth control..so it is a little redundant to say both. The "can't read, I need to feed my kids" dilemma exists in every society, it's just a lot more dire in these countries so I wouldn't blame the lack of education on irrationality...not too much unless it's a case of "I don't need another book, I have ________(Insert religious text here)"...but even blaming that is a little insensitive.

People in Bangladesh pay taxes plus everyone who works pay Zakat every year. It doesn't matter how much money people pour down to the government they won't do anything to take actions as they are corrupted along with all the rest of the big corporations in our country. People can only do as much, Bangladesh is a poor country so the family will always look to take care of their own first. My dad used to be a Sub-Engineer for Bangladesh Water Development Board, and earn £80 per month!!! He would still pay Zakat every year but it's just not enough. And regarding fundraising, my mother works for Womens right organisation, primarily she deals with situation related to women being divorced illegally, but she would still collect funds for other form of charity, but at the end, without the government's support its just difficult and becomes pointless.
Lionelrm There is enough food to feed the entire world population. The problem is getting it to the needy. Walmart throws away millions of dollars worth of food each year, perfectly good food that might be a day or two old. Fruits and vegetables that nothing is wrong with it. They employ child laborers in third world countries. Go buy some more cheap clothes at Walmart.
NO! it's far more things than just that, THIS is why ABORTION and BIRTH CONTROL and teaching it's NOT cool to have 10 children you can't even feed! Go back 100 years in history and find out who the perpetrator really is.
@AndrewDominoes me too :-)
If we were able to feed everyone in the world, I believe 60% of the worlds problems would be solved. Any one have any suggestions on how to do that?
Need good government
NO! it's far more things than just that, THIS is why ABORTION and BIRTH CONTROL and teaching it's NOT cool to have 10 children you can't even feed! OVERPOPULATION is the root of every one of society's problems, it causes shortages of finite resources including living space, violent confrontations over dwindling resources, pollution, environmental destruction, increased disease, road rage, gun violence, you name it
governments have to do more
this is fucking sad..I can't understand why there is so much fucking poverty still,I used tu feel bad for the homeless and beggars here in my country and would give them most of the time the little change I had but after seeing this is wish there was someway I could fucking send 20 dollars a week to one of those working kids,,as of today I'm ain't giving shit to any of this beggars who can make more in one day working here in the beautiful u.s.a then what one of those kids makes in a month

Not so long ago in England during industrial revolution. Even more brutal. They nailed boy ears to tables if they were tired or "lazy". Google it.
Couple questions, where are the fathers? Are the fathers out of work? Are the mothers not able to work?
No gloves or eye wear at all
Capitalism at its finest . Providing the goods we NEED here for less than 99 cents while half the world suffers .
Oh well, if we didnt BUY those 99 cent i tems then they wouldnt even have THAT work and income
Know a place by how they treat their most down trodden citizens.
Sorry, At least their recycling is it me or is the title setting the wrong idea
Islam and government corruption has really served the children of Bangladesh well.
