First off, thanks for the sub! Wow -- another sax Wunderkind! (Is this you on all three parts?) I also watched one of your Dubois Cto. vids -- you look like you're still in high school? Amazing. Do you expect that your future performances are more likely to be posted to this channel, or to the one with the Dubois?
rloomis3 Yes of course! Yes, all three parts were recorded by myself and I do plan on recording more of myself and my quartet on this channel. But yes I’m heading into my senior year of high school next year. Thank you!
Ah, very good! I heard him earlier this year at the Navy Band Symposium -- my first encounter with his playing, which I thought was excellent. I went home and subscribed to _his_ channel! :)
The third movement to David Maslanka's Mountain Roads, this first of two arias, features the soaring soprano saxophone part accompanied by only alto and tenor saxophones. The baritone saxophone part is tacet on the movement so no such part was recorded. Thank you.

Ok, I've subbed. You're one to watch. :)
May I ask with whom you're studying?
rloomis3 Thank you! I’ve reverently started studying with Matthew Younglove at Wayne State University.
