Dear Runa, I want to thank you for taking me along on your beautiful journey. I think I have watched them all, and the things that make it special is that you are so down to earth. So uncomplicated, so chill. I love it. Your filming technique is fabulous and the drone is fantastic and i love your taste in music. Why do I write to you now? I’m terminally ill and don’t have much time left. I would have loved to follow in your footsteps and trails but that’s not going to happen anymore. So I want you to know how much pleasure it has given me to follow you and see all the beautiful things on your way. You are a lovely person and I wanted to let you know you make a difference to many people. Especially to me. So dear Runa, keep going and keep riding and take us along! Thanks again! Best regards Norman.
Norman, your comment left me with a lump in my throat. Thank you so much for your kind words. I'm so very sorry to hear about your situation. It's a true pleasure to be able to share my travels and experiences with you guys. I feel incredibly privileged to be able to do what I do, and you better know I will continue to travel and create content for as long as I can! Once again, thank you Norman for your kindness, and I hope you are doing well despite your situation.
Heading home in February with my good friend and his son. I am so. Looking forward to sharing with them where I cut my teeth riding. I grew up in hokitika... Now living in Perth Western Australia..
Hello from Washington! My husband and I love to see where you are riding and hear about your adventures. We appreciate that you take your time and just enjoy each day. Cheers. ❤
I love your voice I don't know why I have become so attached to your voice that I too watch any one of your videos and go to sleep. May God keep your voice as loving as this. Love your voice and your eyes.
Great video Runa❤. That is a beautiful area you’re in now. I still want to go ride in Norway yet. Those damn sand flies are evil where you are now though.
Awesome episode, Runa. I fully understand and can relate to what you say about the mountains and water, there is something so special and timeless about it. Cheers from Canada. Mark
Lovely to see my beloved Te Wai Pounamu through Norwegian eyes! Your videos are a wonderful treat to a Kiwi, Runa, allowing me to see some places I have never visited. Just a wee note re Mount Aspiring: the word is pronounced "Ass-Pie-Ring" and is from the verb "to aspire". ie, to aim for better or higher things Just as you do with your epic motorcycle tours! 🙂
Runa, for me, these awesome episodes show your ever evolving vlogging"skills". This episode (and previous ones) is so beautiful, it shows the hard work of filming, in so many angels, really capturing the magic of the moment, the very clear use of the satellite maps in addition of the classic paper map, the added voice over comments ... all this combined with your own editing style ... makes for an amazing format. And ofcourse that feeling of wonder and amazement when seeiing yet another stunning view, plain happiness, that big smile ... i suspect only fellow travellers can really grasp these feelings. What made me smile especially was your FOMO explanation ... guilty as charged, hahaha, that one gets me on every singel travel. How many times i've turned back the next day after realising i drove past a special viewpoint/place. For then at the end of the vacation driving like crazy, making up for the lost time to get to the end destination on time. Also your mentioning of the starfilled clear nightsky ... not many realise how limited our nightsky view is due to city lightpollution. When there is no danger of beiing eaten alive by all kinds of bugs, it can be a humbling experience watching this awesome view of our little corner in the universe. So many awakened memories by watching this vlog ... 👌🥰👍
Aaah thank you! 🥰 One of the things I love the most about editing is to be able to re experience the whole trip again! So many little things that we so easily forget. That day was a great one, with so many nice spots and places and views along the way! Thank you for watching and for noticing how I try to evolve as an content creator!
Beautiful films as usual and long enough clips so I have time to absorb the content. I appreciate the texts in the left corner with position and other things!

Thank you for the hard work of filming and editing for us Runa. Like many of your followers, I too enjoy coming along on you adventures. Your videos are "easy" to watch and listen to. New Zealand is on my short list, maybe someday I'll get there. Norway too. See you on the next one. "Skal" from Canada.
Hi Runa, I bumped into your channel tonight, spent a few hours watching your New Zealand riding trip, I am based in Auckland and I am a rider myself. Your video inspire me to start a trip like this. I haven't fully explored the south island as yet, but looking forward to doing it one day. Until then, stay safe and keep up the good work :)
So glad your are enjoying this beautiful country we get to live in. There is a whole other world of beauty out there on the water around the Hauraki Gulf and Bay of Islands.
I live in Christchurch NZ and have several times ridden from Greymouth all the way south to Jackson Bay and then over the Haast Pass. Just utterly fantastic scenery and the roads are a delight to ride. Will be doing it again mid- November.
Runa, such relaxing, informative videos that make us feel we can share your experiences through your eyes & ears, always makes me want to get out and explore on the bike! Looking forward to the Collab with Thomas too. You are very similar spirits in motorcycle travels 🙌🏼😎
Hi Runa, So happy you enjoyed your great NZ trip, yes around nearly every corner there is a new spectacular view. I was lucky to do the west coast about 10 years ago and was able to walk over a few hills to the ice cave mouth of the stream flowing under FOX Glacier. It has now melted retreated far back high up the valley. Cant wait for your Te Anau - Milford Sound episode, I drove that twice because I just had to go back again. Another terrific video and great sound choice Runa, thanks so much for sharing again.🤩🤩🤩🦘🦘
I remember seeing you at the Wanaka BP and then giving you a wave as I past going down the Crown Range in the very dense mist on the way to Queenstown. You were stopped looking out to the misty wilds of the south. A shame the weather wasn’t playing ball as there are normally fantastic views from that spot. Great content.
Thank you so much for providing this great peaceful feeling to us this morning that a ride through beautiful nature gives. Today I will only commute to work on the bike, but I am blessed to have a way to work that takes me 67km through a very nice landscape. Tomorrow evening I will be on my way to Austria 🇦🇹 and Italy 🇮🇹 if my plan works out. Your video reminded me how much I am looking forward to a few days in the alpine mountains ⛰. Take care, greetings from Bavaria in Germany 🇩🇪.
Another nice video Runa, i like your films the best on youtube for the honest, pure , love you show in them. Im sure most of us feel we know you. Currently the south is snow and ice every where, once it warms Im off for another south Island lap on my Grom. You'll need to come back, but for longer next time😊

Hi, Roy! And thank you, glad you liked it 😃 It was a bummer that I could not view all of the mountains, but not for long! Those evening views sure made up for it 😍

You really seem to enjoy yourself on this ride through New Zealand, and I just can't blame you, Runa! It has the potential to sail up as a country to enjoy as much as your own Norway - you just trade mosquitos with sand flies... 😜

That is awesome, Craig 😃 Happy to hear you got your trip planned, I have no doubt you will have a wonderful time! I got so many different advice on sandflies through these episodes but I can hardly remember any 😂 DEET is probably a safe bet, tea three oil should be good (worked alright for scratching too), anti histamin cream, some mentioned vinegar but not sure you would want to travel with that. Other than that, just make sure to cover up! Put your pant legs into your socks etc.

Only in New Zealand do you ride through a rain forest to view a glacier! Beautiful but I do not know how you stand the bugs Runa. I passed on a trip to Alaska, paid travel and lodging, after watching videos of the mosquitos n biting bugs.
Hahah it is a strange combination, isn't it! The bugs were pretty much bad only in the evenings, and I could take shelter in my tent so it wasn't really a huge problem 😊

❤👌👏👍
sand flys.. probably your light attracting them
For sure!
