replace Danish Pete with Mick from The Pedal Show and that would be the best duo ever. Pete's playing is a 9.5 but imo Ariel's and Mick's are perfect 10s
not sure if im right but sounds like somethin to do with c#minor bmajor f#minor g#minor emajor to be it sounds like they were picking in the tonality of jimi hendrix 3rd stone from the sun except backwards and ariels jazz like soloing went off the cuff and kept adding a sweet dissonance but im only guessing based off my ears and eyes
I need to learn the chord progressions from the intro jam it was so good omg, also, I'm so glad that they have someone with good jazz chops, and he plays killer slide guitar
Man, how Ariel knows his stuff. I would have had to look up the dwell feature on my iPhone! :D And Pete doesn't drop any f-bombs. Magic! Good re-edit, guys - I actually watched it all over again and those amps are amazing. If I was in need of another amp, that PR12 would surely be on the short list.
3:18 how does one come up with those melodies on the spot? that chord phrase that Pete plays there makes me put on my guitar face everytime I listen to it. Pete if you are reading this, I think you should do an improvisation course on your yt channel or something. I would pay good money for some improvisation clases from you.
What scale is the 2 second lick Ariel is playing at 1:57 before going back into minor? I've been watching this video for 20 minutes and I can't get past the first 5.
Ariel Posen I didn't realise you had so much stuff already uploaded! I'd personally like to hear about some of the stuff you actively think about when you're improvising and what kind of stuff you do to improve your improvisational lead playing. Thanks :)
Jack Simmons technically the scales are connected. Aeolian connects to ionian, connects to dorian, connects to phrygian, connects to mixolydian, connects back to aeolian for octave :P
Hes playing pentatonic licks pretty much and landing and holding blue notes for longer than normal, thats why it gets the "Out of the box" feel that is so asociated with jazz.
***** Lydian and Locrian are sorta weirdos of the group, and are held within two different modes at the same time. They get a little complicated and I don't tend to use them because that :P
Sexy stuff there chaps - the playing, not the shirts! :-). Really tasteful and a great demonstration of what fun can be had with a couple of guitars and a couple of clean channels...
“Tone-Full” boys! Have tried AC20 Combo here in Australia, there is some sort of magic 🦄 mono-atomic gold dust in his circuits maybe! saving my bicky’s for on as I speck(type🤩
I've come to a point that I can recognise which host is playing within th first 5 seconds of playing without watching, including ariel. I watch this channel too much.
Pete and Ariel jaming is a delightful thing to watch
This is the best partnership for video reviews you have Andertons. More of this please.
replace Danish Pete with Mick from The Pedal Show and that would be the best duo ever. Pete's playing is a 9.5 but imo Ariel's and Mick's are perfect 10s
@@Jedipwntrick why not make it a trio then? 🤷♀️
@@Jedipwntrick What a weird toxic thread lmao...treating people like trading cards based off your perception and ranking of their skill.
Oh. My. God. That intro jam was out of this world!
Anyone knows the chord progressions? I think I'm not the only one who is interested in that :D
not sure if im right but sounds like somethin to do with c#minor bmajor f#minor g#minor emajor to be it sounds like they were picking in the tonality of jimi hendrix 3rd stone from the sun except backwards and ariels jazz like soloing went off the cuff and kept adding a sweet dissonance but im only guessing based off my ears and eyes
using the LORDs name in vain is stupid and EVIL!!!
Ariel's slide and Pete,s touch is just so smooth. I could listen for hours. just great.
not sure what is more inspiring, the amp tone... the creative use of slide, or that intro jam... or all of the above. Well done guys.
The opening jam was legitimately the best thing I've ever seen ever on UA-cam. You guys are awesome....
Guitar Paradiso + Morgan amps = Some of the best guitar tones i've ever heard on youtube.
love that purple custom shop tele
I never get tired saying it: Slide makes me cry; but in a good happy way!
This intro jam was absolutely amazing!
the outro jam was so awesome and spontaneous. loved it. two amazing players. thanks Andertons.
MAN!!! You guys absolutely killed it with this one!!! Just spectacular! Thanks!!!
that beginning playing was absolutely gorgeous. Good to see some slide on the channel too, ariel!
Pete and Ariel have a very similar playing style. And I LOVE it.
I need to learn the chord progressions from the intro jam it was so good omg, also, I'm so glad that they have someone with good jazz chops, and he plays killer slide guitar
That slide harmonic at 3:37 :o
Still my favorite duo jam to this day
Intro was just amazing. A bit of a Mayer, I don't trust myself vibe. Very tasty.
30:01... Maaaan, that tone! The 335 in a cranked AC20 is pure happiness.
Love all the Ariel videos so far. Too much talent between him and Pete though, they need to share.
very classy - the playing, players and that Landau Strat. Yes please, got to have me one of those...
The intro jam is amazing
That intro jam though!! sounds a lot like I Don't Trust Myself by John Mayer
It's like having 2 Danish Pete's
Two incredible players with such tone & control. Noice!
PETE'S MELODIC SOLOING GAVE ME AN EARGASM OHMYLORD
Ariel's a fucking badass player
That Landau strat is awesome too
Wow. This is the first video ive watched with Ariel, he is a KILLER guitarist. And Pete is great as always, nice video
What a marvellous way to start a Friday. Great Playing guys.
Wow thanks guys for the music fix
Can't wait for the next one
Much better than the other two blokes who used to be on here - more please!
Ariel knocked that Landau strat out if tune with his heavy pick attack.. great playing guys!
Kind of left this world for some time. Tone heaven, and heaven notes you guys :-)
Come on guys, f...ing awesome! What a intro...
Top video, great playing and the sound of those amps! Loving the MVP23. Keep it up.
Man, how Ariel knows his stuff. I would have had to look up the dwell feature on my iPhone! :D

Best tones ever on Guitar Paradiso - Ariel killing it. Don't think I've heard a better tone from you. And you got tone.
Cheers. That guitar/amp combination was magic..
Best intro jam ever... love the sound but wow Ariel is unbelievable
Still come back to this video periodically just for that opening jam.
WOW! great playing.
3:18 how does one come up with those melodies on the spot?
that chord phrase that Pete plays there makes me put on my guitar face everytime I listen to it.

The Kemper I once owned had a profile of the AC20 in it.
I pretty much stopped turning dials when I got to that one.
Really nice tones and great playing from both. Well done!
When Ariel uses the slide it becomes heavenly!
Phenomenal playing
Ariel is at another level seriously
All about the pr12
Hot damn that intro jam! WOOHOO!
the Posen slide yeah baby....
More videos with lovely gear please :))
What scale is the 2 second lick Ariel is playing at 1:57 before going back into minor? I've been watching this video for 20 minutes and I can't get past the first 5.
These guys are so good at guitar, they need to do some video lessons!
Pete does, he has like 3 I think :)
Aynthing in particular you guys would be interested in? I'd be happy to do some on my channel!
Ariel Posen I didn't realise you had so much stuff already uploaded! I'd personally like to hear about some of the stuff you actively think about when you're improvising and what kind of stuff you do to improve your improvisational lead playing. Thanks :)
As a new subscriber (just now, of course), I would be interested in how you set up your guitars for slide.
Ariel Posen had no idea you had a youtube channel ! what a great way to start the year !
Im so glad ariel has joined the captains ship 🙂
Best intro Jam ever!!
Ariel Posen is just an unbelieveble player. Holy shit
Holy shmokes that intro! Funky.
Ariel. Great first solo! In terms of style, I heard a lot of John Scofield in there!
Joe Morgan makes the best amps. They sound alive and brilliant.
Ariel for president! That playing almost too good be legal... My god.
I'll take both thanks.
Damn Ariel, your playing is original man. Where's your solo album?
Pete that tele is so nice
That was nice. Friday is saved. Thanks a million!!! What PUs do you have in the 335 dot?
13:50 ... oh lord!!
that ac20 is beautiful
Intro chords please, I want to play along!
Tone is in your shirt!!!
love it
1:57 2:22 what scale is he playing? what does he do to make it sound so jazzy?
Jack Simmons technically the scales are connected. Aeolian connects to ionian, connects to dorian, connects to phrygian, connects to mixolydian, connects back to aeolian for octave :P
Hes playing pentatonic licks pretty much and landing and holding blue notes for longer than normal, thats why it gets the "Out of the box" feel that is so asociated with jazz.
The Richter...
Sounds dorian to me.
I bought a P12 head from Anderton's. It really is rediculous, the best!! Back out tomorrow with it. :)))
Are the chords at 10:30 from a particular song?
wowsers
I think In 40 years people will look back at amps such as Morgan's and Friedmans as classic amps like they do now with old marshalls and fenders.
Pete is so damn good
“Tone-Full” boys! Have tried AC20 Combo here in Australia, there is some sort of magic 🦄 mono-atomic gold dust in his circuits maybe! saving my bicky’s for on as I speck(type🤩
no EF86 in that AC20?
Rory Gallagher is my choice for "Vox player".
(May is tied for #1)
Damn that American dude, or Canadian, or whatever can really play
Can you do some Swart Amps please?
I wanna play like Pete
It's just those creambacks that I'm not sold on. I know I could swap them, but there's something about the creambacks that doesn't do it for me.
20:21 my favorite part lol
He's got J.Hendrix hands !
What is that weird golden slide Ariel is using during the intro jam? It's closed at the top is it not? Anyone know where to buy one?
+Richard Bartlett it's his s signature slide & we sell them on our site.
by the company Rock Slides. I have one, not the one he uses, but it is great. Much easier to use than the big chunky ones I've had in the past
Indeed. Danny from The Rock Slide can also custom make a slide to your specs so that the fit is just right!
if I wanted a pr12, but a little bit more power... what would I be looking for? maybe 35-50ish watts?
What reverb pedal is being used with the ac20?
So, that's the non-Deluxe AC20?
Morgan ac or victory copper ?
Settings on Ariel's KoT please?
Red side only. Everything just a little east of 12 o'clock.
Thanks Ariel! ...I've been copping your fantastic licks! Haha
Ariel boy I heard u there 2:39
My man...
I've come to a point that I can recognise which host is playing within th first 5 seconds of playing without watching, including ariel. I watch this channel too much.
hey Barney called. he wants his tele back!
Love the Hawaiin shirts.
Don't know if someone will see this. Forgive my ignorance what genre is the intro 😅
Dat green :O
8:59
2:20 MONSTER LICK!
5.48 strange mouthfart :P
Jazz players often time have lousy tone - but this dude tunes in on it.
