Hey man, I want to thank you so much! I spent a few hours doing this myself with new actuators for both banks and a new ISTA+ set up…. Absolutely perfect instructions! My car is fixed and I’m happy! I actually found many bolts missing on the heat shield and the resonator mounts underneath from a dealer job on a replacement turbo 🙄. I will say, put a rag under the actuator where you put on the nuts…. I spent most of the time retrieving dropped nuts 🤣
Ovidiu, just saw the whole video, and I’m sorry to ask. I had a Bmw master mechanic tell me I have to change my wastegate actuator. Can the wastegate cause transmission codes? At the moment I have fault code P00BD. But was told 1 of my wastegate needs to be changed. (Having transmission clutch C & D not plausible). Trying figure out if P00BD may be causing transmission code 4204C1. I’m sorry to ask, and as a fellow Romo, mulțumesc. (2016 g12 750i)
brilliant BMW engineering: one electronic unit between 2 turbos which generate a shit load of heat. No wonder is broken, and probably costing a few hundred euros... back in the day they used vacuum controlled wastegates controlled by a boost controller far away from the heat.
Your video is great. My ISTA failed when checking bank 1 but it shows me procedure for wastegate cylinders 5-8. The test on bank 2 passed with no issues. Any thoughts would be appreciated- thanks

yes , but from test plan you can find out very easy! or only from the wiring diagram , you click on the part name and ista will show you location and pictures!
Hello Great Video and I have a question please . I got on my Bmw 750Li xdrive G12 2017 this fault 12343A wastegate 2. adaption what would be the problem . do i calibrate the wastegate with ista+ or do i change the wastegate ? my auto has sometimes no boost untill i accelerate more . Thanks
@@MOvidiu Thanks for you feedback . after the ista+ test it has given that the wastegate bank -2,19 and Bank -1,55 so it looks definivly that i must adjust the linkage of my both wastegate .

Hello! you'll need to do a proper diagnosis and after that you will know wat to do ..the antenna is in the rear window and the receiver module in the C pillar .

Salut! nu are absolut nici o legatura ce erori sau simptome a avut masina asta cu ce poate avea masina ta! daca nu ai incredere in diagnosticarea facuta iti recomand sa mai faci o diagnosticare in alt service!

The part has failed because of wear and tear, and surprisingly is not very expensive 😀

Perform a plan test with ISTA , Follow up the plan, and you'll have a result

I didn't disconnect it! but follow the test plan and read all te instructions!

I've gotten to this point to troubleshoot the waste gate rattle my g12 is plagued with. How easy is it to fully remove the turbo at this point?

is nothing weird, the waste gate valve and the controller, in time will worn out and need to be recalibrated
