- Revolutions Remixed is a fan edit combining elements of "The Matrix Revolutions", "The Animatrix" animated shorts, and the "Enter the Matrix" video game. The goal is to create a 2 hour film which is a tribute to the original work while presenting something completely new.
While this whole project has been an experiment with montage, here is the first real traditional montage which display several parties getting ready to take on a difficult task. Originally in the theatrical release many of these scenes were more spaced out, and treated as their own separate occurrence. My intention was to reinforce the idea that all of these separate events were all towards ONE goal.

The way Mifune respects Morpheus from the first time we see him, that already tells you he's a man of honor and respect, also the same type of person who is scary to mess with.

Tho they dont have much for pilot protection.
Mr Grim the idea was that armor around the pilot would only cause a slower more gruesome death for the pilot, no hull also made them much lighter and quicker, they were meant to be mobile weapons platforms if you let the squids get close you were done for...
@@tyguy1223 On the wiki there was also a stated idea that previously there were mechs that were designed that covered the entire body but in this iteration of the mechs there is no cover to help people see the human behind the machine rather the other way around.
ThisNameIsn'tWorking yes that was another thing from a visual concept it’s much clearer that it’s man vs machine, not machine vs machine. Would have been a lot less cool if mifune was hidden inside armor
@@tyguy1223 we also go to remember from the ANTI MATRIX that the machines tore through mechs like they were butter so I would think they would cover the pilot Because of this and put resource on maybe making the weapons and ammo instead of wrapping armor around the pilot's
Mifune is the type of guy who'll tell you "You wanna go out in style? Follow my lead" and you'll say "Yes Sir!!!"
Also the fact that we see APUs taken down by two or three sentinels at the same time, when Captain Mifune got attacked quite literally by thousands of them he kept firing through out the swarm.

In hindsight, they could’ve just built a proxy dock to lure all the sentinels there and either implode the structure down to crush them, or EMP them all. Humans cannot fight machines with machines.
They probably have in the past, but it most likely either impractical or lacked enough tactical advantage to divert such resources and most importantly human power. You have to imagine how often the dock is attacked. Look in Matrix Reloaded when everyone was returning home, you see all the defenses up. So perhaps the machines attacked fairly frequently but never to the scale of the final invasion. Also when Trinity was explaining to Neo about the "sewers", for all we know, they could have passed the remnants of a base at some point.
@@dylanmorse8199 Beside i doubt that the human can lure all of them in. In scene they said they attack in wave. So even if they got 1 or 2 wave . What will they do with the rest.
I mean the machine would be probably knew about it anyway, since it will take tremendous time and effort to build that size of a dock however General Lock's counter attack in the movie would work, since 250k sentinels and most of them hurdle together? That could buy zion sometime, not to mention the drill would probably disable for a time. Cuz the machine didmt expect the humans to just go at them frontally

They have the entire planet at their disposal. Factories, resources, infrastructure.
Their industrial capacity must be humongous.
For humans, every person dead, every APU and ship destroyed is a big blow.
For the machines, it's pennies.

If you know the story behind the prequel called animatrix then you’d know that it was humanity that caused the war to begin with as well as the reason the sky went dark which led to the destruction of earth’s biosphere causing the extinction of almost all organic life on the planet and forcing the machines to start capturing humans and turning them into batteries leading to the creation of the matrix and the war ultimately led to the deaths of many good people including cap mifune it totally sucks for everyone in that world for sure😢

@@neko281 I'm a year late, but some mechs survived the final battle, I think. The captain died and he was closest to Gate 3, but there were other units still up further away.
Re loader's should have been right next to the fighters, with many clips.
The reloaders would have been in the way. Imagine trying to move around in a giant mech suit while fighting sentinels and having to worry that you dont step on people next to your mech suit. The last thing the mech pilots need is another distraction while they are fighting

Sentinels have plasma cutters and would just cut them open.
If you watch the Animatrix, the original APUs had armor around them.
The problem is that the machines would shred thru it or cut the armor out.
Adding armor would be pretty useless
They no longer have that luxary, pretty sure the first APUs had all the bells and whistles.
The animatrix showed that it was basically useless and actually hindered the pilots more than it protected them
Yah putting armor around it would be much help because LAZERS THAT CAN TARE THROW SHIP COCKPIT METAL like butter and even then zion on a low amount of stinks there scavenging for basically anything and also they would die quicker instead of you know watch your self be torn limb form limb

Why didn't they just place a emp just out of reach of the city I mean they knew where the machines were coming from that would of prevented a invasion you think when designing zion they would of constructed it like one big faraday cage to protect themselves from emp but we know why not because the plot.

So....I never really got deep into these movies but why doesn't Zion just have their own EMPs? I mean other than "so the cool mech battle can happen".... Did they give a reason in the movies?
Sorry for the late I believe it wouldn’t matter even if they have EMP. Because they can only use it one. And the Machines attack in waves. The moment you blow an EMP you sitting duck. Because they gonna send in the next wave.
