LIVE "Playing the KEYS" method of improv.

Charlie Parker spoke about how important it was to learn how to play in all 12 keys... so there might be something useful in this method. It's not all I think about, of course, but you CAN get a lot of mileage out of this method if you really know your scales all over the neck.

Great lesson Noel. When I first started learning Jazz it was the modal approach using melodic and harmonic minor and it was HARD. My teacher back then would probably yell at me if I tried this but I'm bigger than him anyway. This is a great way to fake it or even just change up the sound instead of hearing the same modes all the time. Something to keep in the back pocket.
