This is amazing. It is easy to tell she and the horse share a special bond that is pretty near impossible for some riders. I am at awe that this is possible for someone to do something this spectacular. She is and forever will be my role model to continue riding.
This video has always, and will always give me the strength to continue riding, even when I think I just can't learn, or things aren't going well. Maybe it's taking to learn for me to grasp an idea, or gain the trust with the horse, I look to this video for the inspiration to keep going. It would break my heart if I ever gave up. So I say thanks to Stacy Westfall, for her amazing riding, and thanks to this video, for the inspiration it provides.
this is my favourite, i wish i could do that. it woud take allot of time and patience to get that kind of connection with the horse, i ride bareback quite often and love it.
you gata trust your horse you gata give em ya life not every body can do that but she is awesome. She was at a horse show that our family goes to she was signing autographs she wrote on my sisters a paragraph of done home sweetness:) And if you think it is dangerous your right it is, ig you ride with a helmant trust your horse and take it off.
Every Horse can get afraid of something, and even when it doesn´t want you to hurt, you can fall off. Thats a fact. I have a very lovley Icelandic horse, but even he, who stands still, when someone falls off his back, can have a bad day or can make a mistake. WEAR A HELMET AT LEAST!
@AlyxFisher I hope that the fact that her father died 24 days before this made you tear up. That's why I did :) I would love to ride like that. Gallop with my horse with nothing on, and just run away from everything
Especially bare back. My first horse was a Shetland. She was no t broke, I had never rode before, did not have a saddle small enough, so had to break her bareback. Her and I had a rough time, but we became wonderful friends. So YES Stacy is awesome.
i horse train for a hobby and this is NOT easy to do even with a saddle and blanket and tack....she is deaf and cannot talk and this is remarkable so everyone who dislikes....SCREW U SHES AWSOME AND I BET U $30 U CANT DO IT!
Maureen Maynes.....nooo darling if you are into horses this is normal of you are into this kind of thing, horses are amazing animals ....they are big but gentle if taught right my job for many many years .... loved it ..xxx
im working on this with my new pony, join up then gently putting my weight on her back, shes only ever been ridden with a saddle, il never get this good though! subbed and liked!!
No, shes a trainer in Ohio and does plenty of Clinics! (Has been for some time.) Im pretty sure this is her 2006 Winning run at Quarter horse congress. Roxie (the horse she is riding) died last year ago while having pregnancy problems. Stacy can talk and isnt deaf. I dont know why this rumor was even fabricated.
Im crying :’( she’s so amazing. I can only dream of ever riding like this. And the fact shes doing it for her dad makes me love her even more
This makes me tear up every time I watch it. She is one amazing lady and that is one very special horse. Thank you for posting this video!
It's nice to see an animal not abused, and still work with a person. God bless you.
this is what everybody can do when you spend a lot of time with your horse...there's nothing magical, just love and confidence
This is fabulous. The talent is unbelievable. I didn't even see the transition at the start from walk to canter. Brilliant!
truthhurts101 you need to look more into dressage then!
it's also called 'tackless' ;)
Sabrina Bsm true

Christina Driver i’ve been riding for 9 years and have never worn a helmet.. it’s trust and your opinion.. not a lot of pros where helmets

Me too! Never seen this before, it is just amazing. Every rider should see this as a goal. But most riders never will get it. Sadly.
Excellent ride! The girl is a superb rider and the horse is a champion, and worth its weight in gold ...

She killed that
He did Smile... I was standing right next to Him. Both our eyes were leaking.. His eyes were on you.
Brought tears to my eyes.
Bless you and your loss. My Daddy who taught me to train and show horses died in 1991. Your horse sure is attuned to the subtle cuing.
