@@3ftDeepChannel Yup, same one. I think part number you listed is for instruction sheet as I am not able to find depth finder with it. I do see 295100927 listed for 2020 Seadoo and up.
great as always! Where exactly did you put your bilge pumpt? (I have the 2019 model and didn't really find a proper place after installing the depth finder)
Yep! Only has a few hours on it. I didn't film the bilge pump installation, as it's essentially the same as the previous one we did. Thanks for the kind words!

Works perfectly, thanks. Turns out we were pointing at the wrong area on the gauge for the depth indicator though. Someone pointed that out earlier in the comments.
In our case (up here in Canada), the kit came with everything we needed except the glue and gel pad (for some strange reason). We list the parts for our machine in the description and comments section below the video. Confirm with your dealer what’s in the kit before going out and buying the extra parts, though. Good luck with your project!
Does the adding of the depth finder (on the digital display) also give you water temp readout like the newer GTX Limited and FishPro have as standard equipment?
We're not aware of the other ones that require fluid. The ones we've installed always require a gel pad. Luckily, instructions are included with each depth finder and they're clear on what's required. If you're interested in a specific model, you can do a search and download the instructions before purchasing. Good luck.
@@3ftDeepChannel I have a 2019 fish pro and it has coolant in the transducer, there is a clear tube that extends up that I fill with coolant, aprox once a year I add a few ounces to it, I am guessing that the gel pad replaces that fluid
Very interesting. I’m not sure about your replacement assumption, though as we bought a depth finder in 2017 that had the gel pad. There may be another reason.
I have a 2022 fish pro sport that came with the Garmin 62v depth finder and the transducer looks the similar and is required to be submerged in marine coolant. There should be a clear inspection tube off to the side of it
Good video, thanks. I just installed mine and the dry test failed. I'll be testing in the lake soon. Also, Sea Doo makes a bilge pump kit for this ski ('23 300 gtx limited) that hooks up to the existing hoses out the back tunnel where the existing venturi system (I assume) exits. I just installed that and it's a clean install. The pump has a life of 300 hours I am told and it runs continuous via the fuse box. I have seen another video install of the sea doo depth finder like this one and they had to plug it in a few times to get it to work. HOpefully that won't be necessary.
What Marine Grade Epoxy Glue slow cure is "The Right Stuff" ...? Unsure of the Plastic Material the Base is made of, as some epoxy's don't work with Polyethylene and Polypropylene Plastics ...? I want to make sure I do it right the first time ...
The “Right Stuff” isn’t a marine grade epoxy glue (that was used in our first attempt, but for some reason wouldn’t cure). The right stuff is used in engine sealing applications. Good luck.
@@3ftDeepChannel Per the 3M website. Alcohol should not be used in preparation for bonding as it will interfere with the curing process, causing the adhesive to fail. I've had this happen with other adhesives. Great video as always. Thanks, guys!! I'll be doing this for my 24 RXT-X
That normal 5200 also takes 5-7 days to cure, he needed to use the fast cure 5200 and it reacts with moisture to cure. No alcohol should be used as its stated on 3M's page.
Are you sure about that, Nolan? We haven’t had it out on the water since to verify, but that’s what the instructions that came with the depth finder said. Do you have the same model?
Funny about the gel pad, we just went through 5 kits and saw no gel pad. Then, when we finally opened the clear bag with wire ties, the gel pad was under the warning sheet they includ with all accessories LMAO! No one reads those things. RTFM strikes again 🙂

Can you run a SCOM while running a depth finder?
Absolutely.
A bit confused, how do you connect the SCOM if the harness for the depth finder plugs into the diagnostic port?
Essentially, they are daisy-chained.
@@3ftDeepChannel you used to not be able to daisy chain a scom and depth finder. Have they changed this?
We don’t have an SCOM on that machine, so to confirm you should contact Racing and ask them about the details for your machine. Good luck.

No, it’s just a depth finder.

Sorry, no. Amazon severed all of our links. Apparently, it’s just for businesses now, not for a couple of Yahoos like us!
