Jared, that mullet is glorious. Carry on!
Lethal Rocks!! I bought alot of my big parts for my Foxbody.... love the company. Maybe one day I'll get a newer mustang....
I jumped on it and ordered it from you guys soon after you listed it. I'm hoping that getting my order in so soon will help with the wait time on receiving it. This wait is going to kill me!
Thanks so much for your business Todd! We appreciate it. You're gonna love it once it shows up. Well worth the wait that's for sure.
I might just save my cash for the 2026 gt500. Enjoy the first year car for what it is until the new daddy is released.
Yup or at least something like a GT350
Me personally,,, imma have to do 2028 I’m not buying the first year of a new car
@@ScottStang5.0 when released. The GT350 was a fantastic Mustang with it's new flat plane Voodoo. But since Ford hasn't used that engine in any other Mustangs because of issues. I'll stick with the 7500 RPM Gen 4 Coyote and add the new factory installed warrantied Whipple.
I'm guessing the upcoming S650 GT500 will be a limited production 900 horsepower specialty Stang with a price well north of $100,000 before dealer greed. Good luck.
@@DWH300 I was hinting at a s650 GT350 variant. I know they wouldn’t use the old 5.2 because of all the issues. But I guarantee there will be higher options than the n/a dark horse
Is that monster going to fit under the hood of the S650. Amazing power adder for the new Gen 4 Coyote
These fit under the stock hood of the GT and Darkhorse without any modification. The only thing you'd lose is the strut tower brace if you have a PP GT or DH which comes with it.
Can’t wait to see this thing on the 24!
I'm saving for one and I cant wait.
damn i cant wait to order mine gotta save that bread up.
And I have it now for about a few weeks. Well worth the purchase.
Just gotta save up for that stage 2 supercharger.
Nice looking kit.
Why am I just now hearing this!!!!! Can you imagine that supercharger whine turning those high rpms??? That is going to sound soooooo beautiful...❤❤❤😂😂😂
Lol, I love the blurring for the "double fisting"...that was pretty offensive.
Top notch quality kit from Whipple!
Cleetus just put one of these GEN-6 Whipples on an F-150 and got over 1,100 rwhp on the Dyno.
With 20 something pounds of boost. He blew the motor
@@seeno1 No he didn’t, he blew the transmission. We still don’t know what he did to the motor. Lol. Yeah I believe he had 26 pounds of boost on it too. 😳
@@seeno1 And to be fair, he did say he did over 50 WOT pulls in one day on a stock motor & trans then put a drag pack on it and beat the hell out of it at the strip. It should have broke eventually.
It was looking like the crank stub broke off?
@@jeffledoux5439 Yeah but they haven’t discussed it since so no clue what actually happened. I assume they’ll have it back on the show soon.
What does the entire kit weigh? Would a BMR K-Member offset the weight by 80% or more????
Will the rear brembo brakes from the 2024 mustang gt fit any gt from 2016-2023
When you install the Whipple Gen 6 3.0 supercharger, you must drain and put completely new oil into the engine after installation. What type of oil does Whipple recommend should be used?
We didn’t change the oil on this car as it only had about 2k miles on it when we put the blower on it.
Would this void powertrain warranty?
Not necessarily as installing aftermarket parts doesn't automatically void your warranty. With that said it's really up to the dealer. If something on the car fails and the dealer can prove that it was due to installing the kit then they have the right to void the warranty. Keep in mind that if you purchase the stage 1 kit with the warranty from Whipple you have a 3/36 warranty with a payout up to $7500.
If you go stage 1 or stage 2 without the warranty there's no coverage from Whipple. You'd just do your best to use your factory warranty with a mod friendly dealer.
Hope that helps.
@@Lethalcamp I dont think it is stated on the website but is there a difference between Stage 1 and 2 and why isnt there a powertrain warranty for stage 2?
@@piratesacademy8144 Stage 1 is rated at 810hp at the flywheel and comes with a 92mm throttle body. Stage 2 is rated at 855hp at the flywheel and comes with a larger 112mm throttle body. They only offer the warranty on the stage 1 kits as that's the level they are comfortable with offering it for. Let us know if you have any other questions. Thanks!
Awesome kit! Can't wait to see what it does.
I cant wait to hear it
Also what is expected price to buy this kit & approximate install price & I will convert to Australian as a guide
Thanks Neil
Why don’t they just give you the bigger heat exchanger to start with. Pretty annoying
The oversize heat exchanger costs more than the standard one. So adding cost to an already expensive system isn't really what they wanted to do. However I'm sure it will be an add on upgrade once the oversized one becomes available so you can order it right off the bat with the system for a small upgrade fee. Hope that helps.
Bad ass
Can Ford dealership install it or take it elsewhere 🤔?
If you order the stage 1 kit with the powertrain warranty it needs to be installed by a Ford dealer or an ASE certified tech in order for the warranty to be valid. If you order the stage 1 or 2 kit without the warranty anyone can install it. Let us know if you have any other questions.
Thanks for the info 👍🏾
Member when internetz was little, and there was this place called streetfire, and someone would have a 03 Cobra with a KB 2.2L screaming @ 17 psi, and someone else would have an 04 Cobra with a Lysholm made, GEN1 Whipple 2.3L screaming less load @ 18 psi, and either car could be making between 580-620 WHP on 93 depending on supporting mods, and tune, and just how strong of a runner your car might have been, and then they'd race, and you'd be like, "damn, I wish I had a Terminator! It's the most badass car EVA!!!"? I member. Man those TS Terminators were fast as hell. Unless you where rocking say a single turbo MKIV Supra, TT Viper, a nicely modded C5Z, or occassionaly someone with a legit GEN4 Fbody, or DSM, Stage 3 SRT4, or Civic might show up, but otherwise wasn't much running with a TS'ed Terminator. Then those pesky C6 Z06 came to market, and what a game changer that car was. Them in stock configuation where given 600 WHP Kenne Bell and Whippled Cobra fits.
But really are we going to start seeing GEN6 Whipple for GEN3 Coyote, if GEN6 Whipple is a major improvement over the already excellent GEN5 Whipple hardware?
i just hit 9000 miles on my 03 cobra yesterday
I hope you got one of these kits for ss717????
Oh you know it! 🙌🙌
Hi great info video on latest whopper supercharger
Will this unit be available in Australia who is the contact to purchase & install these here
Thanks Neil
We can easily ship these kits to Australia or you can contact Herrod Performance and they can assist you with the purchase and install if the kit. They are located in Thomastown, VC.
Let us know if you have any other questions.
What's the power
Does anyone know the part number for the air filters?
is that a mullet
i wanna buy this supercharger so bad but im scared its gonna blow up my engine
Wondering what the problem is, this has been just sitting in your guys shop for almost a month now.. what’s wrong? Where’s all the follow up
Not really a problem other than we've been extremely busy here and just haven't had time to schedule it for the install. Between Thanksgiving, Black Friday and Cyber Monday we're still swamped. We should be able to get to it next week though as the sales season is slowing from it's peak.
What about tuning ?
Whipple provided the tuning for these kits. We’ve already supported 800+ rwhp with their calibration and plan to take the car to the drag strip this week to get some test passes in.
So odd you can slap a manifold that gives you upwards of 700hp and be street legal but how dare if you add a full exhaust system and tune your car. Yeah government, it makes sense.
Oil pump gear??
Boundary Engineering 2015-2024 Mustang 5.0L / 5.2L GT350 Billet Oil Pump Gears and Crankshaft Sprocket Combo
This is the exact Oil pump gear your looking for if your doing this upgrade just copy that what I typed above and search it on lethal performance and it’ll pop up
@@2024gtbuild
Thanks 💯💯
Good luck getting that motor to hold together with garbage pistons and oil pump
It's been holding up just fine so far. We've got 28 pulls on the dyno so far with the Whipple on it and it's going to hit the track shortly. We will however be installing OPG's and a sprocket before it's raced.
Jesus, it looks like it weighs 300 pounds. I'll stick with Vortech Foxbodies.
Who’s hear bc of @itsjusta6
Lethal~ pro . goodnight!
