RAIN makes us DESPERATE for a warm shower

- After experiencing the Lodge for a few days over Christmas we get back on the road and re-visit old favourites. First we stay at Bluebell Wood CL site where I (Kath) get the chance to try my best Christmas present, a Dji mini 4 pro drone, before moving on to Setthornes Campsite.
Despite the weather it was great to walk in the woods again, but the rain made it very difficult as it was so muddy underfoot. Clearing up to move on it the rain was an interesting challenge, but on the positive side we did manage to meet for a dog walk with friends and even got the BBQ out.
Just as we were leaving a dashboard warning told us to 'check airbag' so just another van issue to resolve.
Feeling very wet and having a very full washing bag we decided a night at a CAMC club site was just what we needed.
This is episode 106 in a series of videos cataloguing our post retirement adventures. We are Kath and Sue and we are travelling the UK with our two dogs Archie and Fudge and living full time in our Burstner Elegance Motorhome. We have given up conventional living for a new van-life, enjoying the freedom of the road and plenty of time outdoors taking in the beautiful countryside the UK has to offer.

I had a piece of white plastic delivered instead of a data sim. It’s a long story but Amazon gave me a refund when I spoke to them on the phone so fingers crossed Sue will get her iPad asap/you will receive a refund. Like you I order a lot of things and I think it does help at these times. Anyway I hope you’ve got an update by now. Sasha says Hi to Archie & Fudge and hopes they’ve been enjoying playing in the frosty grass now we’ve been blessed with dry sunny days! Take care. Anna xx

So far so good, but limited flying time due largely to the weather we’ve had. I have had a play with active track though and really impressed. 🙏🤗🚌❤️
