one very important thing was missed if you want your compressors to last. put a check valve in the leader hoses off the compressors tp the tank. if you dont all the tank pressure will be putting strain on the compressors when they fire up instead of line pressure being blocked by the check valve you have 150-200 or so PSI of pressure being stored in the tank pushing against the piston in the compressor when it fires up. could also cause some electrical issues with the extra amperage needed to fire up compressors
Man so many negative comments about bagging a truck. Who cares if its not “useful as a truck” anymore. Thats not really the point. The point is it looks really cool, goes really fast, and is cheap and easy to work on
How much more are a set of tubular control arms compared to buying a new set of Moog control arms, spending the weekend cutting them up, boxing them in, painting them...
I love this channel and love that this is a true minitruck build but i am STRUGGLING to understand why yall went with a 5 gallong tank under the bed with another 5 gallon tank in the bed. Granted, the vales are in the tank in the bed BUT, you could have aaved a lot of work by going with a valve manifold AND not voided the warranty on the compressors by removing the leader hoses that have a check valve built in to them. Just seems kind of silly and a waste of time. Compressors/valve manifold could have gonenunder the bed and you have bit of a cleaner install with nothing in the bed.
I'd like to see a v8 swap in an s10! You wouldn't believe it but I conveniently have one with a 2.2 that can't even get out of it's own way that I'd let you guys use for the episode! I'm "close" to Nashville also! Just let me know when and where to bring it 😅😂🤣😎
Seeing as how they arent even finished building it i highly doubt it.....parts fail eventually....thats part of working on vehicles. You think semis are scared to use airbags cause they might fail? No...they all use them.....
Slamming is the dumbest trend EVER … ending a vehicles useful life so you can turn it into a rolling joke to get “looks” for your insecure ego is not how real men think.
Terrible way, no truck bed its pointless. If you are going to do it you must keep the bed intact. No need to lay it on frame if it means you lose bed. Keep bed, go low as possible

Eric didn't touch on it but Viair leader hoses have built in check valves on every unit.
@@benosborne4502 they didn't use the leader hose. So they're going to have heat issues to
@@brokentapedeck I know, just didn't want people to miss the fact that Viair includes them.
I want some

There just ignorant a properly bagged truck can tow and or haul more than a truck with normal steel springs
It's an s10 that's what they made for!
This is coming along nicely, gave me the exact inspiration I needed for my truck, and how I can delete the torsion bar front suspension.
I have a 97 s10 bagged and body dropped. Love mini trucks. Awesome video.
did you have to cut everything they did wanting to do my 98 and this made me re think it....
Cutting the stock arms was how it all started before tubular arms.
I had a 2000 S-10 I lowered 4 inches. Man I miss that truck.
I'm suprised you guys didn't go for Ridetech's SHOCKWAVE Integrated Air Spring and Shock System, would've made the install much easier.
There is a turbocharged 4.3 V6 over in Engine Power that would be great in this build!

Bought a set for 1200 but wait time is 12 weeks
13:50 look how crooked they welded in the center axle hump between the wheel tubs! Wow that’s bad.
it's no crooked it's the camera angle
Need g body upper tubulars from speedway

Nice you didn't mention the second air tank underneath?!
Yes he did. at 16:43 🤦♂
So it's a pickup without space in the bed ?
personally id like to build one with a functional bed
I wanted to see the bed fab but they didnt show it lol
They should have shown the whole wiring process
I swear you can't get the whole damn story on these automotive channels
Well you can do a raised bedfloor but that means you ain't hauling anything
Even though I'm not into lowering trucks that looks good
Well then, let's check it out.
The only way to junk an S10 it's not a low rider but it will be popular with a 15 year old kid now.
I hate to say this, guys, but i think you voided the warranty on the control arms.
Trucks with no usable bed space, are stupid. You can accelerate, handle, and brake while still being able to haul things.
But it's not going to used for hauling so it doesn't matter
Hey, I have an idea. I have some money I want to piss away and if I could totally negate the usefulness of my truck that would be a win-win.
What an idiotic statement. Cancel all customized cars everywhere. Shut down the whole business. This guy doesn't like It

Slammed trucks still can be useful 😂😂😂 bags allow for even more weight to be hauled then stock....
You my friend are exactly what’s wrong with the car and truck community.
Real men don’t use emojis to communicate either … thanks for making my point
@shawnhollahan590 oh no we got an internet tough guy. Does your boyfriend tell you you're a real man?? What a loser

If you're going this far with it...most likely youd have another truck to use....so having one like this isnt a big deal..🤦♂️🤦♂️🤦♂️
That spring removal was SO fake!
