This helped me out soo much, all tutorials focused on After effects and since I already used my free trial. I couldn't use AE and other apps. Thank you for this tutorial.
I'm glad you found it helpful! I love After Effects, but the reality is that $50/month for the creative suite just isn't accessible for a lot of people, and Blender is great 😄
Not sure what you would be adding in After Effects, but you can output your image sequence and use Blender's Video Editor to add post processing options as well.
Amazing tutorial! You've earned a sub! One thing that has been bothering me though are the keyframes easing in and out from 15:30 - 16:33. For whatever reason, my graph lacks that and has straight slopes. I've even tried to manually add in the different types of easing in and out curves to the keyframes. I would normally ignore something minor like this and move on, but I am also unable to scale the keyframes (top ones). I've made sure to followed everything to a 'T' up until this point :/ If you have any tips/solutions please let me know.
I've solved the issue! I had to go into Preferences -> Animation and change the default interpolation from linear to bezier. I tried doing this earlier in the graph editor, but had no luck XP
I have a couple different stinger transition templates on the channel you can check out and easily customize! @@1nsanitya391 You might be duplicating it in edit mode rather than object mode (I think F and I went through this on the discord a while back - memory is foggy as it's late, though 😅)
Sorry for the confusion - screencast keys (unfortunately) doesn't display the keys typed after "R" So to rotate 90 degrees on the Z axis, you have to type "R" for rotate "Z" for z axis and then type "90" for the amount.
I'd need more information to help 😅 - when you hit tab, does it look like it does on my screen where it's a circle of dots connected by lines? You have to be in edit mode, and everything has to be selected for the "f" part to work. (if everything isn't selected or orange, you can also hit "a" to select everything in edit mode)
I generally don't in my own workflow because I'm hopping between multiple applications frequently, but I've put all tutorials in full screen mode ever since someone else complained about the same thing 😅
After you hit "R" for rotate, type "z" for the z axis, then literally just type "90" (you can type in whatever degree amount you want 😀) Unfortunately, it seems as though screencast keys doesn't pick that up when it's already in the middle of the rotate action.
In the upper left of the 3d panel, go to view > cameras > active camera If you need screenshots, hop on discord in the questions and help channel, and I can paste some 😄

4:35
when I follow the instructions at 3:30 his second rotation he says is y 90* but it only appears they way his does if i rotate on X and not Y
That's odd...I'd have to see your file too see what's going on, but do whatever works for you and gets the desired result 😅
@@StreamScholar Most people still say Y because they use Adobe and in Adobe they use Y but in Blender its X. Common mistake.
3:26 rotation with your given key is not happening. maybe some key you forget to mention. help. z and y at 90 degrees can not be done by me
Sorry for the confusion - screencast keys (unfortunately) doesn't display the keys typed after "R"
So to rotate 90 degrees on the Z axis, you have to type "R" for rotate "Z" for z axis and then type "90" for the amount.
The "tab" "F" part at 4:18 wont work ???? Cant get A filled circle???
I'd need more information to help 😅 - when you hit tab, does it look like it does on my screen where it's a circle of dots connected by lines? You have to be in edit mode, and everything has to be selected for the "f" part to work. (if everything isn't selected or orange, you can also hit "a" to select everything in edit mode)
I just realized I responded on the wrong account lol - but the other response is also me 😅
Not running blender in fullscreen.. hmm
I generally don't in my own workflow because I'm hopping between multiple applications frequently, but I've put all tutorials in full screen mode ever since someone else complained about the same thing 😅
3:22 cant figure out how to snap it at 90
also when i press f to fill in at 4:20 it says error cannot make segment
After you hit "R" for rotate, type "z" for the z axis, then literally just type "90" (you can type in whatever degree amount you want 😀)
Unfortunately, it seems as though screencast keys doesn't pick that up when it's already in the middle of the rotate action.
@@HaydawgZero Make sure all of it is highlighted. To fill you have to have all of the vertexes selected in edit mode.
how to camera view with no numpad
In the upper left of the 3d panel, go to view > cameras > active camera
If you need screenshots, hop on discord in the questions and help channel, and I can paste some 😄
Not gonna lie, I’ve always wanted to try streaming, BUT... I hate hearing my voice 😖😂😂😂😂 so I probably will never stream 😂
You don't have to hear your own voice while you stream - or ever 😛
Wait for me.
If only it would tell us how to integrate audio into the transition, it would be a perfect tutorial...
There's a video for that 😄 ua-cam.com/video/x1TAVp_bxjI/v-deo.html
@@StreamScholar brilliant! Many thanks, haven't found this guidance by my search. Love it!
When he says welcome to stream school he looks so depressed
That's because no one's actually welcome 😄 (kidding) (maybe)
@24:58 half a second is 750ms.. hummm
Meant half of the stinger and didn't want to re-record the video over it 😅 - good catch though!
@@StreamScholar I know bud, just wanted to catch lol, btw thank you for the tutorial, I created my transition yesterday following your steps, much appreciated!
Not 1st
That's okay
