@Kz1m at the top right corner it says Activate, click that several times, it didn't opened until y spammed left click, then press the first option (you should see 3 when the Activate menu appears) and just log in

Hey man, just getting started with streaming and learning to do -everything- myself, really appreciate your videos. Did math and computer science as a TA for a while, and you have a knack for good, simple explanations of the fundamental aspects of a process. That's a rare thing. Anyway, I'm in the process of setting up really good transitions, the ability to do custom replays/etc in obs. It helps that I have a background in scripting/programming and dabbled in stuff with GIMP and Blender, but that was a decade ago. Your videos helped me chop off a lot of 'relearning' time. Thanks for that.

Whenever I have a headache and I go to an asmr channel to cure my headache it never works, whenever I come to your channel when I have a headache you cure it!

For people having the blacks or other colors look faded or washed out when converting, I have found that adding this -vf "scale=in_range=pc:out_range=pc" in the code will fix that, so it should look like this mkdir Processed ffmpeg -i "%~1" -vf "scale=in_range=pc:out_range=pc" -c:v libvpx-vp9 -b:v 0 -crf 10 "%~dp1Processed\%~n1.webm" pause

For stinger transitions? Maybe, but I'm not the video editor out there, there's plenty of people that do it better. Next week's video might interest you though ;)
It's not possible to click on Export Content due it's not appearing on screen. I only can click on export which will automatically will be an MP4. What should I do?
Cineform with alpha should also work I believe. You get a .mov file which is much smaller and similar to standard MP4. BTW, I'm just starting with OBS and plan to do some tutorials for a vector design program (Affinity Dsigner) for youtube. I've learned a lot from your vids here on OBS. I really appreciate how great you are at explaining OBS tricks and techniques.

Ik this video is like 2 years old but i created a slicing transition where a logo comes in on strips one at a time till they are all there which is where the transition happens then they back out again. But OBS is playing it at close to 0.5 speed meaning only have the transition plays. Any solutions?

Hi Nutty, I'm working on a few stingers. They will prob be similar to each other but with slight differences. Is there a way to create a stingers library and have OBS select one at random. Or will I always have a certain stinger when transitioning to a certain scene? Thx
@@andreasvergara197 Right click the composite shot and select "Add to export". It will open a similar dialogue with different output formats under "preset".
I have a question.. When I went to export the video, when I looked at the ending result, it showed their logo dotted around the video with a series of 2 piano notes.. Is there a solution? Edit: This video is probably outdated and I probably spent 6 hours on it for nothing lol
You have to create a login and sign in to get rid of the watermark. The license is free and you never have to pay except for any addons you want. - nutty

I only saw one tip creating a stinger with a 14 days demo of After Effects. You don't need to buy it though....
But your solution is very legit.
I used PowerPoint animation on green screen and saved as mpeg 4 and then used chroma key on it in OBS. It works for me!

i get an error saying "unknown encoder libvpx-vp9" and i did the exact same u did in the video when u downloaded ffmpeg so pls help

the problem is that in the exported video there is the publicity of the software on my video. how can I solve it?

The reason its not transparent is because your logo probably isnt 32 bit.

The only transition video I've seen used DaVinci Resolve, which is also free.
I try this today after exported, it has a water mark on it 😒😢
Sign in then export again. It's free and there will not be a watermark.
