I don't get why pioneer do stuff like that, even with the ddj sx having dual deck mode but the sz doesn't, it's like if your paying more for a product you expect to have the same features as the cheaper version and obviously more
I've been on the fence between the CDJ-2000 NXS2 or the 900 Nexus for a year and I am ready to buy. It has come down to wanting to know the tension of the jog wheel between the two. I am upgrading from CDJ-2000 original decks. I know that i liked the jog wheel set to the lightest setting. Not sure what the fixed tension on the 900 NXS is compared to this.
Hey man, I'm positive that the CDJ 900 NEXUS has a tension at about the 12 o'clock position on a CDJ 2000. Cheers! I am also trying to decide between the two players. I am leaning more towards the 900NXS, my only issue is the lack of a Quartz lock/Tempo Reset aswell as a Quartz indicator light which the 900 lacks.
My question is, i bought the 900 nexus when they came out, and I bought the NXS2s, but the jog wheels feel alot diff, i haven't played at any clubs sence the virus hit,but I dont remember the jog wheels being so different. Did they change them?

So ellaskins wich one do you recommend? Im using a ddj-sx at the moment but i want to get rid of it since the laptop is bugging me. Im going to buy some cdj's, should i go for the 900 nexus (wich is cheaper) or the 2000 nexus? Thanks

You also have beat divide on the 2000 nexus when in slip mode :)

how much different is the jog wheel tension from the 900 nexus to the 2000 nexus.. is the 900 nexus light or middle tension ?

i say 2000 nexus i love those CDJs and because you throw laptop to wall you can in 2000s see so easy everything in that screen.
