Great review guys! Off top question about this mixer (If you guys can hopefully answer), I'm trying to do live DJ streams through this mixer via "Twitch", how do I go about setting that up? I have my usb A/B connected midi through my laptop (and have OBS) but the sound is still not coming through?

Nice video, just an FYI, we used the NXS2 outdoors alongside 2x NXS1s and the touch screen has a worse glare when you are outdoors which is a bummer.

Whats for the review @DjRavine and Cotts. Do you plan on doing a comparison video between the NXS vs NXS2 (CDJ and DJM) as far as how they really compare to each other and if its worth the upgrade?
Hey Ravine love you video and performance , but I found a flaw with this video @ 13:26. You can do instant doubles on CDJ-2000nexus(mk2) I own 4 x CDJ-2000nexus. You point out that you have the double instant is a new feature in CDJ-2000NXS2 (mk3). Im able to do this in the same with my 4 x CDJ2000nexus (mk2). But don't let that stop you from doing videos mate. Just passing the info.
+HardcoreeggrollUT You sir.... are a wizard. We both did not know that. Thanks for pointing this out to us! On the new player it's marked as a feature on the player (so on the button it actually has a marker which says hold for instant doubles). Thanks for the comment!

This is really dope little updates! one of the most interesting feature for me would be that colored waveforms. I'd love them to import this feature on my xdj-rx :D (future firmware update maybe?)

Be buying a pare of these next week...great review...I've only ever mixed with decks...lol but I'm studying hard on these...although my mixer is the Djm 800. I'm sure there be just as happy with that...can't wait. Any tips will be welcome..regards Stu

Hmmmm!!! Thinking if I should upgrade. Currently using the CDJ2000 Nexus. I use serato when I sometimes do hip hop and reggae shows so I wonder how the players reacts to the serato system. I'm surprise they kept the CD player. Thought they would of done away with it. Overall I'm loving the features.

Just one favor, Odyssey cases is claiming that there cases for the NXS will fit the NXS2...: could you please check on this for me, with the CDJ and the DJM , hoping that you guys have odyssey cases though....... or where to get those BLUE, RED or YELLOW cases that shows in the back

Hey Ravine How do you begin the transition from upmarket controller (xdj-r1) to the cdj's. I really need to start learning how to use professional cdj. What do you reccomend, is it possible to hire cdj before I make a solid investment, as you know they arent cheap.

Idk why but it seemed that stuff was really limited on the old player, even compared to a ddj controller. Like only 3 hotcues when the ddj sr has 8, its good they made a new nexus

Hi Cotts & Ravine, I just got 2 CDJ 2000 nexus 2s & DJM 900 nexus 2. I was wondering how I connect the CDJS together via the link feature? I have the usb from the laptop into one CDJ and all the tracks are mirrored from Rekordbox DJ (which I use to play), but if I put the USB cable from the laptop into the other CDJ, it doesn't work. (Not sure why). Also, I have an ethernet cable linked between both CDJs. However, I think the firmware needs to be updated because I can't play between decks... Can the firmware update only be achieved through transferring the firmware via USB or is there any other way? Hope you can help, cheers.

I'm a total noob with keys, instead I use the Camelot notation (1A, 2A, 3B etc). Is there a way to have a regular Nexus 2000 (or even the Nexus II) display keys in camelot notation?

Guys I need your help (Don't know what to invest more in as I'm about to get my first set of equ.)
As a semi beginner DJ (I have been thinking about getting a pair, and waiting for a while for a new version of the CDJ2000NXS), if I only had the option of either getting the 2 CDJ 2000NXS2 OR the new mixer DJM 900NXS2, which would should I get? In other words, is it better to invest more in CDJs and less in the mixer, or more in the mixer and less in the CDJs. One of the possibilities I'm thinking about is 2 CDJ2000NXS and this mixer or.... CDJ2000 NXS2 and a tier below for the mixer.

+Jonas Zadeh Personally for me, I always go with a newer set of CDJs and an older mixer when new ones come out, because you can always update your mixer later for (relatively) cheap compared to replacing a set of CDJs. Only my opinion, but I would go with 2 CDJ2000 NXS2s and whatever mixer you can afford with the leftover.

Well, it really depends on your budget after getting your CDJs. I use a Pioneer DJM-850-K because I had quite a bit of money leftover after my CDJ pair, and I was trying to stay with Pioneer DJ gear, but if you're a little tighter on budget, there are some cheaper non-pioneer mixers out there for much less. As for speakers/headphones, I don't really have any reccomendations because each person has their own opinion on sound and comfort, but I use a pair of Sennheiser HD 280 Pro headphones, and I don't have my own pair of speakers.
Can I load hot cues that have been saved before in Rekordbox, after I have started playing the track and its past them cue points?
is the touchscreen heat or touch sensitive?

How do we change the USB port color ? I didn't really understand when Ravine talked about it.. :/

But did u know, that when ur track is playing, and u pull out the pen drive, the track still continues to play
+Arsh Arora that,s with most of pioneers products that use usb. it puts it into an emergency loop so the sound sill plays to an audience if the wrong usb is pulled out etc
